Broad Hinton Restaurants

We had a fantastic roast at the Dumb Post yesterday. Although very busy, the service was excellent, we didn't have to wait long for our drinks or food. When the food arrived we were not disappointed. We would highly recommend this pub for a Sunday lunch.

Very nice and clean restaurant, tastefully decorated. The staff are very calm and friendly and the food is good. My only negatives were not much vegetarian choice though and why do chefs always think veggie food needs to be spiced up?? (Spicy vegetarian nut roast) And the sauce on the pork oyster was too rich.

As always The Royal didn’t disappoint for our daughters birthday meal. Great food, friendly attentive service and a warm welcoming atmosphere. Can not fault it every time. 10/10.

3 of us went today (28/11) for lunch and everything was amazing. we were the first in when it opened, and drinks order came followed shortly after by the drinks. We then ordered and shortly after the food was delivered. It was lovely and hot, fresh and really tasty. Everyone enjoyed. The portions were quite large and we all had enough with no room for dessert! The staff were lovely and very polite. Nothing was too much trouble. Coffee followed and then we left. the ambience was lovely, obviously popular with the locals too. I went once before, and forgot just how good it is! Will be back soon!!
