Turgis Green Restaurants

We visited Kara as a birthday celebration for my wife. Having visited before we were expecting a great dinner and we certainly weren’t let down. We were greeted like old friends by the team when we arrived. There was no rush in ordering and the waiting staff were happy to help and advise on anything. I cannot fault the food as it was spectacular and the portions weee very generous with 3 of my children taking home leftovers. Looking forward to returning soon.

Food was very tasty. Staff were friendly. Service was good. Lacked atmosphere due to it being quiet, but that might have been because it was a Wednesday.

A nice pub with good food. There seemed to be a lack of staff for the service so things were not top notch. The food could have been amazing but the main course was let down by slightly overcooked fish and the fish had no flavor at all which let me very disappointed. I must say the starter and dessert were fantastic and the accompaniments to the fish were really great but as the fish was meant to be the star it was a let down. They did give our two soft drinks for free but really if a restaurant is trying to be a gastro pub they need to tick all the boxes. I would go back just to see if it was an off day but I have heard similar things from other people
