The quaint fishing town of Somers Point is one of the greatest attractions along the Jersey Shore. It lies just 10 miles southwest of Atlantic City and is a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty as well as its rich history since it’s an old shipbuilder’s town. Somers Point is home to many excellent restaurants and marinas that reflect what everyday life is like living near the shore. If you have a taste for authentic mid-Atlantic seafood, this is the place for you. Patrons of the town enjoy dining on fresh crabmeat, crab bisque and oyster shooters. They also have a taste for fine Italian food like gnocchi with mozzarella sticks and fried shrimp dinners. Grilled fish served with house sauces and frozen cocktails are a great treat on a warm summer's night.
