Zero complaints about the food! Bottomless Mimosas were a tad pricey compared to where I've gone in the past but, I think the prices were so high because Maison is in the city. Our server kept going missing which was a tad annoying. We waited over 15 minutes for water while looking over the menus. Considering the restaurant wasn't at full capacity and we had 5 in our party I felt like we were always waiting for something to come to our table. Espressos took 10 minutes, extra sugar packets took another 10 minutes, just a lot of waiting. Our server was always kind and we had no issue with his tableside manner. I will return, maybe not for brunch again since it was so expensive. I've heard good things about their happy hours and I want to check them out soon. The interior was gorgeous and I love when their foldable windows are open to the street. MoreOpenTable Diner -

We had a wonderful time at Talk. The cocktails were exceptional- well prepared and served in cute glasses. The food was also very, very good. Service was perfection- very personal and attentive. Members of our party had the duck, spaghetti and black bass- all prepared and served perfectly. I’m surprised to see the critical reviews here, but we visited on a Wednesday when it wasn’t busy, so perhaps that is why we found it flawless. Well done! MoreOpenTable Diner -
Consistently good. I had the crab ravioli, and my husband had the special tile fish. Both entrees were very enjoyable. Drinks are reasonable (martini and a glass of wine). Service was good. Overall, a good experience. We’ve been here many times before, and we will go back. This is a very good value restaurant. MoreOpenTable Diner -

We enjoyed a lovely meal here last night. Inventive food, perfectly portioned and paced. Thoroughly knowledgeable and kind staff. Impeccable wine pairing by the sommelier. Love that they’re connected to Southwark so you can wait at the bar. Their attention to detail was impeccable, they personalized not only my meal but my actual written tasting menu to accommodate a nut allergy. We had a 9 course meal and felt wonderful after, not bloated or stuffed like you would expect. This was completely due to how much attention they pay to portions. It was spot on. I felt wonderful afterwards. Our only suggestions would be to turn the music down, and perhaps choose a softer genre for such an intimate place. We had trouble at times hearing the explanation of the food. And if you offer the salad course with the amazing thin layer of pate again, be sure to pair it with a soft bread that can soak up the amazing flavors at the end. We nearly licked our plates! Ok, one of us actually licked our plate but I won’t tell who 😁 Well done Ambra. MoreOpenTable Diner -

No longer just NYC’s 8th borough, Philadelphia is a well-kept secret, especially when it comes to food. Sure, you can still get a cheesesteak or its lesser-known, debatably better cousin—the roast pork sandwich—but the restaurant scene has taken off in recent years, with Israeli, vegetarian, and Spanish food in the mix. The provolone-lined cheese shops of eras gone by exist in bigger, better versions and the large, welcoming brasseries that dot Rittenhouse Square make you feel like you’re in Paris. Reading Terminal Market pays homage to Lancaster County’s Pennsylvania Dutch fare, with a bounty of pretzels and apple butter, while local bakeries, baristas, and breweries set a high culinary bar for the City of Brotherly love.
