Focus on the small plates (not that small btw) vs the main course items
Coconut rice is great
Front of room lacks ventilation so your clothes will smell
Staff is a bit “too cool”
Wow. One of the best meals I've had in NYC in a long time. So glad we booked here.
Strong food odor on my clothes
The food was amazing as usual! Little on the pricier side but will come back for restaurant week!
Food was beyond delicious, our waiter was friendly and fun, we did the tasting menu and left stuffed. Everything was on point.
It was so delicious....exceeded my expectations!!! The food was also served very fast and the staff was kind. -Danie
Delicious food and friendly attentive staff. A little pricey but justifiable because of great food and service. Cocktails were delicious 😋
Dont get their tasting menu unless you want to taste disappointment and regret across 5 of the most mediocre dishes ever emulated. Nothing new here. Just overpriced and under delivered Asian classics. All to the ridiculously loud top 40 radio in the background. Fine dining.
The food was fantastic - especially liked the duck and noodlers. I wouldn't go too late as they will rush you out. We sat at 9pm and by 945 last call from bar and kitchen and check was dropped while we were still eating at around 10pm.
Staff were lovely and the food was sensational! We came for brunch on a very rainy Mother's Day (hours before our reservation, as an outdoor tour nearby was cancelled) and the hostess was inviting and accommodating. Three of us split several dishes, each delicious and unique. I would come back any time.
horrible service. and food for some at table was served half hour after first were served. 2 were finished when 2 had still not received their food. mimosas were cheap acidy crap. Server was unpleasant. Total experience very negative.
Amazing food! Especially liked the Khao Soi. Service was impeccable - they had 3 options for the Sunday brunch mimosas - tried out the mango and the lychee, both were great. The flavor here is great.
Our hostess/waitress was outstanding. She greeted us with a smile, kept us updated on our food, had great suggestions, and ensured we were happy, full, and taken care of. The food came out quickly and was outstanding. We did the tasting menu and added on the pork belly adobo. We waddled our way out after feasting on the endless plates of goodness. Such a great deal for top notch food and service.
Server was Kurt and a little rude. Menu was limited and provided less fusion than I expected. Underwhelming.
Excellent boozy brunch! They also substituted meat for tofu in various dishes which allowed for more vegetarian options.
Just delicious food but a little too noisy for the over 50 crowd (which includes me!)
Loved the cocktails and the service was outstanding.
A big, fun party!
Waitstaff was pushy and mean to the point that it was awkward - we didn’t know what we had done to bother her! Food is great though.
While I do think the food is delicious, I have been spoiled by all the cheap ethnic food in NYC. There are much better deals in the outer boroughs. It’s also quite crowded and noisy so be prepared to spend the night yelling at your dining companions.
We loved Pig and Khao -- the food was fantastic. We like really spicy food, so the waiter recommended a few dishes, and they delivered! Cocktails were great too. Very lively place -- crowded with fun music playing. Worth going out of your way for, even if you're not in the neighborhood. We will definitely be back!!
I have eaten here many many times. Food was excellent as always. But brought friends from out of town and our waitress couldn't have been more rude. Complete with repeated eye rolling everytime we ordered something and throwing our bill on the table as she walked by before we even asked for it. It was actually embarrassing since I had talked the restaurant up so much.
Noisy. Great food.
The staff were excellent. The food was fantastic.
this is one of my favorite place . to eat in NYC so my review is probably a little biased. Having said that I have brought many friends to Pig and Khao and they all loved it. P&K never disappoints. Love the green papaya salad!! order it every time. NO doubt I'll be back again soon... with more friends of course.
Food was great. We did have to ask for an order of rice 3 times and it was never brought and then we were charged for it. But overall would recommend.
I was there for brunch, great place with a lot of options to choose from, very tastey, very clean, recommended!
Food was really very good. I love the sisig and the Khao Soi The Ricotta Donuts is to die for👍👍👍
Be prepared to leave with the strong scent of roasted meats lingering on everything you wear or bring. But it’s worth it.
The menu had interesting options. Mimosas were tasty. Overall a good brunch experience.
Everything was delicious!!
Fried chicken and ribs were excellent
Coconut rice was outstanding
Not a great experience. Very bad service.
Food was delicious, but as we were there longer, it became louder and louder and felt like the music was turned up way too high. By the end of dinner, I could hardly hear the individuals I was sitting with.
The $55 tasting menu was amazing food for an amazing value! So much food, we had leftovers. Can’t wait to go back!
The duck and the khao soi were my favorites. The khao soi was spicy with the curry but very good. The duck was so tender.
Food was amazing. Going to make this my new LES spot!
Why do opentable reservations always get the worst tables in the restaurant?
Pig and Khao has a great vibe and the food is delicious. It's some of the best Southeast Asian food I've had in New York (speaking as a Malaysian). Always a cool place to bring friends.
The place is cozy and there’s an open kitchen that made the place smoky and humid. Reminded me of Manila hahaha. Don’t let that put you off because the food is AMAZING! The ribs, pork belly adobo and sizzling sisig were worth every calorie. Will definitely go back to try the other entrées
I really liked all of the food. It was an excellent representation of Southeast Asian Cuisine. The service and food were excellent!
Kao Soi and Steak & Eggs are a must for weekend brunch!
Food was good but almost everything was very spicy. I asked the server about heat level and he said it was mild but it definitely was not as I couldn’t really eat most of the food due to spiciness. If you like spicy - you would really like it.
