    Hayley our server was excellent. But to be honest the experience doesn’t match what they charge. The appetizers were ok not exceptional. The main course was very disappointing. Steak was served lukewarm at best and the potatoes had so much salt they weren’t edible. Desserts were very good and a good value. Overall cleanliness definitely needs some work. It seems they rely a lot on the fact the restaurant spins around.

    Had a phenomenal experience last night. Michael was my server and he was very knowledgeable about the menu. The views, food and ambience were impeccable. I look forward to coming back later this year.

    My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our birthday dinner for my wife at this classic gem of a restaurant. Our entrees of poached halibut and assorted cheeses and fruit were were excellent. We received superb service from Michael, who has worked at Polaris for 40 years. Our drinks and dessert were also delicious. The ambience was excellent, and we enjoyed the view of the Hyatt's rooftop vegetable garden and surrounding downtown Atlanta from our rotating table. We also enjoyed watching the bar tender prepare drinks and the chefs prepare entrees at their cooking station. It was a memorable birthday dinner for my wife and me.

    We ordered sourdough bread, charcuterie board, fried veggies as starters , waygu NY, and snapper for main and lemon tart for dessert and all of it amazing! We had a great server and the vibes were amazing. Def would recommend and can’t wait to go back

    Omg. This place was the perfect spot to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Antoinette gave us the absolute best service we have ever had. As the restaurant turned, she pointed out the blue ridge mountains, volunteered to take lots of picture of us and helped us celebrate with dessert. The halibut is special and the steak was melt in your mouth good. The charcuterie was delivered to the table by the chef and he went over each item. If you are considering going, do it.

    Wonderful experience you will not be disappointed. Please go have an amazing time Spinning 360. You don’t even realize it till you look the chefs cooking spins too. You have to be there to see it! One of the most extravagant places! Go!

    I've visited Polaris previous and had a good experience, however this time I took my team of 4. There were several issues with service. We were seated at our scheduled reservation which was great and were able to quickly place our orders. This was the only piece fast about our experience. We got our appetizers but then waited an hour before getting our drinks which was wine. When the food finally came out about an hour and half into being seated the deconstructed BLT had an issue with the bacon seemly tasting spoiled. The chef came and then went back to taste the bacon and agreed that it was sour and something was wrong with it but no additional compensation was taken off our bill. They did ask if we wanted something else but the meal was basically over and we were 2 hours in at this point. For the price of Polaris menu I'd expect more. Would not recommend and will not be back.

    A must try perfect spot for drinks or special occasion! It is quiet and love everything about their relaxed ambience. Drinks are amazing as well as their dessert! Service was awesome!

    Great experience! Came here as part of a girl's night. The cocktails and appetizers were great. Our server had good knowledge of the different cocktail menu offerings and we were not disappointed with her recommendations. The entrees were also delicious and priced well. Our table was a great size that didn't make us feel squished and the pace of the food and service allowed us to enjoy ourselves without feeling rushed. We discussed returning at a future date for cocktails and appetizers at the bar, which also looked inviting.

    We love Polaris overall and have loved it since our first visit in the late sixties. However, when an establishment publishes a dress code, they should enforce it. For those of us who went with the idea of an evening in attire other than Saturday afternoon bar clothes, the fact that several gentlemen in line with us were in faded NFL team tshirts and jeans was disturbing. Not many people would assess that as business casual attire. We were disappointed in Polaris for ignoring their own guidelines. We'll think more critically when we consider Polaris as a 'dress up' evening out next time.

    We had an excellent experience at Polaris for dinner on our short trip to ATL for a concert. Sara our waitress was wonderful, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to have hosting us at Polaris. She gave us great descriptions of the menu and cocktails. We enjoyed the charcuterie with the local honey, the red snapper and pork cheek. All were delicious and picturesque on the presentation. Cocktails were great as well. Overall a beautiful ambiance and great date night location.

    We were disappointed. We expected that the renovations would have made it more current; it felt like we were walking back into the 80s, and not in a good way. The tables are all lined up along the windows so everyone has a great view, which is admittedly why we went. The tables are very small, which is uncomfortable for a full dinner (more appropriate for a light meal at a bistro). Our table was dirty when we were seated. The tables are close together, and the table next to us was occupied by two loud men talking about work. The food was good, but nothing memorable. I had the braised pork cheeks and my wife had the red snapper (which was slightly over-seasoned). The portions were appropriate. There are so many great restaurants in Atlanta that have better food. The service was good, and our waitress was friendly. Overall, I would describe it as a one-and-done experience. If you are into the view, or want a kitchy place downtown, this is it.

    Absolute wonderful experience from the second we arrived to the host stand all the way to the end of our dinner. Very attentive and welcoming staff. Our server, Michael, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their offerings which made us excited. Charcuterie board and filet were out of this world! As well as the tasty drinks. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience overall! Highly recommend.

    I can't believe as a native of ATL, I never took the time to visit Polaris. As a young adult, I would see the blue bubble from far away, always curious about the decor and cuisine. Now living in denver for over 19 yrs, during this visit I decided to make reservation. It was amazing, the food was outstanding, the atmosphere perfect. Great place to enjoy cuisine with a flavors of the south. I highly recommend to all.

    Polaris has changed after COVID. My husband and I dined there in 2019 and again in 2021 for his birthday and the vibe was very upscale. I’m talking pressed white table cloths, leather bound menus, and very intimate table settings. It is very different now, they have paper menu and small bar like tables. Overall the restaurant has a very casual feel. I usually dress up to go there but I could very well wear jeans now. The food prices don’t match the new ambiance unfortunately. I won’t be back for any celebratory events but will go back for drinks.

    Polaris is absolutely stunning! Went there to celebrate our Anniversary and the staff upon arrival kept wishing us a happy Anniversary. The complimentary peach cheesecake was life changing! The drinks were so good. The food was delicious, cooked to perfection. Our server was great and she took amazing pictures of us. Our experience was absolutely incredible, I’d highly recommend especially if one is celebrating something special. Oh let me not forget the amazing views!!!

    The history and views are worth a visit alone, as is the blue dome dessert. However, the menu felt a bit narrow and we sat next to a family who brought children who were anything but "housebroken". Probably more of a commentary on the guests than the restaurant, but I digress. Check out Polaris for a ritzy date night or anniversary.

    This is an amazing restaurant! The uniqueness of it was my favorite part, I've never been in any restaurant like it ever, but the food and service was just as spectacular. Everyone was super friendly and my meal was outstanding.

    A group of us have been going to Polaris every year since the original reopening when we gather for Dragon Con. We weren't too sure what to expect after the reopening this past year, but it blew all expectations out of the water! All of the food and and drinks were fantastic. I especially loved the pork cheeks and the peach cheesecake dessert. The service was also wonderful too. Our server, Antoinette, totally made the night! And everyone else there was kind as well. We really appreciated the staff accommodating merging two reservations so the group could eat together. The whole group agreed it's all even better than before! Can't wait for next year!

    Jae was a wonderful waitress! She was so knowledgeable about the menu and gave amazing recommendations. Fritto Misto was fantastic, wagyu strip was perfect with a wonderful crust, gargouillou was great and savory. Blue Dome was melt-in-your-mouth goodness and the lemon meringue torte was phenomenally sweet and tart. Smoked Honey ‘O was amazing, wonderful presentation and an amazing combination of flavors. We had a wonderful time speaking with the servers, cooks, and bartenders. We came at a bit of a busy time (dinner during Saturday at DragonCon) so there were a few loud parties who entered, but were asked to quiet down. We look forward to coming back!
