   After a long pause during the pandemic, it’s terrific to see the iconic Polaris back open and busy. The service, the food, cocktails and the sunset views over the city make this a unique and special place. We had the charred calamari and farro from the spring menu and of course, had to order the signature entree, Steak Oscar. Also love the Hyatt Regency’s ongoing dedication to serving and promoting Black-owned spirits, including Uncle Nearest on the cocktail menu as well.

   Experienced terrible service and a lack luster meal at Fellaship this evening. In an effort to save the evening I found an opening at Polaris and our server Jae saved the entire night! We had apps, desserts and drinks. All was 5 star. The service was the best I have ever had. Turned a not so good evening into an amazing night!

    A cozy place with a small but great menu. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't rotating due to mechanical failure on the day we went. I would recommend confirming that it is indeed operating before you go.

    The elevator ride was very cool. I would suggest management add some music, though. The service was outstanding!!! Antoinette was wonderful. The chefs brought the food to the table. Very nice touch. The restaurant was not rotating during our visit and our table was on the south side and not very pretty in the day time, so that was disappointing. But like flying in a plane, it feels silly to complain about any aerial view. The food presentation was gorgeous. Olive sourdough was yummy, house-made honey and farm fresh charcuterie was flavorful. My sea bass, however, was salty and tough, veggies were bitter. Everyone else enjoyed theirs. Deserts were very beautiful but either too light or too heavy on the flavor for me. Lots of extremes flavor-wise. I may have been eating it incorrectly. Overall it was a pleasant enough experience. There’s so much potential here. The carpet and music kind of need a refresh, but the vintage vibe was lovely. We were able to move to the lounge seating to see the sunset and walk around before leaving. The other views are really beautiful. Worth checking out.

    Our experience was great! Beginning with the arrival in the parking deck, the exciting elevator ride and all of the individuals that we came into contact with. Our waiter, Michael, did a great job. He was very attentive. We enjoyed our food and the atmosphere was very good and the restroom is away from the eating area. I will visit the Polaris again. I just hope the Dome is rotating during my next visit. I will call first to make sure it is. Theresa

    I made this reservation to experience the revolving rooftop dinner. We were very disappointed that it broke down minutes before we arrived. We were there for 2 hours and they didn’t get it fixed. Sad ending to our trip!

    The space did not rotate on my visit since it was under maintenance. I recommend calling to ask if they are experiencing issues. The desserts and the steak were great. Portions are on the smaller side so I recommend not going on an empty stomach. Service was fantastic really nice staff.

    The whole experience was great. We ate here to celebrate our 13th anniversary. The restaurant is beautiful. Our server Michael was very knowledgeable and explained the whole menu. We ordered the charcuterie board, my husband had the lamb, and I ordered the sea bass. His entree was spectacular. The sea bass was delicious but I found the accompaniments to be a little salty. The charcuterie board was my favorite dish. We also received a complimentary anniversary dessert which was really amazing! The rotating view was my favorite part. It was breathtaking watching the sun set over the city.

    I was at Polaris restaurant Friday, May 12th. Our server Antionette was the best. The food was great! I would highly recommend Polaris restaurant what a view. Who would have every thought you could make chicken liver so elegant and tasty with a lavender cream. WOW the lamb so tender. Let's not forget the desserts get that dome.     I enjoy the Polaris and it will as amazing the first time and this time was good but not so amazing. The server makes a difference. We received very personable service , recommendations and very upbeat vibe from Sue and Antoinette , they are amazing. I loved that dining experience. This time I had a different server and I explained we were celebrating anniversaries with another couple. When they arrived she never mentioned it . I had to explain the menu and try to suggest the fun drinks etc. The server was dry in tone and forgot drink orders and definitely didn’t make any suggestions. I wasn’t impressed and I couldn’t wait to share the Polaris experience with my friends to celebrate them . The ambience and food was great. Servers matter.

    Great food and service It was refreshing to have a true, relaxing sit down dining experience . The appetizers, entrees and desserts were outstanding. Only criticism is the carpet could be cleaned or replaced. Fabulous view as dusk turned to night. We never felt rushed, or crowded. It was a very enjoyable experience.

    It was everything it lived up to be. My date and I loved the couch and chair combination. Our server Michael was extremely knowledgeable and relatable. The food was amazing. The environment was amazing. There was one light brighter than the others but we rotated past it within 3 minutes. 10/10

    I made my reservation for May, in February they had none available any earlier. Clear day so great view but that’s literally it. Extremely limited menu but pleasant server, ordered two drinks and bread that oddly had olives in it, and left. Still gave a generous tip, not her fault. Elevator guy didn’t direct us to valet properly so that was a bit annoying, try almost any other restaurant in the hotel.
