Cool, very cool
Our server was horrible. Two tables next to me asked to speak to the manager to complain about the same server. Honestly, the manager wasn’t much better. It was a cold night, the manager said he would bring out a heater for us, then he disappeared and never brought one. It was our first time visiting Prime Italian and we were very disappointed in the service ... especially for an “upscale” restaurant. Thank god the food was good ...
Food was great and service was top of the line as always. The place was extremely busy but never felt a dip in service.
Came for Valentine’s Day, ordered the prosciutto Pizza & Chicken fettuccini Alfredo, pasta was delicious but the pizza came out cold and hard as a rock. I believe they were waiting for the pasta to be done to bring it out at the same time but completely ruined my experience.
The food was great the chef even came out to check on the table and they sent out a free appetizer
Horrible experience!!! We arrive almost 45 mins before our reservation and at the door there is a line that extends to the sidewalk. I enter and attempt to figure out if I need to wait in that line even with a reservation and one of the host’s yells at me with attitude duh!! That’s why there’s a line. My wife and I waiting in the line past our dinner reservations time and barely made it inside, before my wife and I looked at each other and said it’s not worth it... am sure the food tastes good if we were able to be seated but it honestly wasn’t worth the wait... I suggest they do better on their reservations system so something like this doesn’t happen again...
They took to many reservations for Valetine's Day, waited 1 hour to be seated, very packed. Shame because we go a lot and were very disappointed.
Waited for a table for 2 hours past reservation time and they were not even slightly apologetic.
Not the first time this has happened either.
They overbooked reservations didn’t follow the list of reservations as people who came in after me got sat before me... it wasn’t until I started complaining that I got sat. Then they burned my medium-well steak it tasted like burnt food and not the juiciness of a steak. We paid and left...
Food was spectacular, pretty long wait even with a reservation. Tony, our waiter was phenomenal.
They over booked and even with a reservation for 2@ 8:00 pm we were seated at 9:25
First off we waited over an hour with reservations. We sat outside and the noise of the cars and the honking were out of control. The food was good especially the bread. But then we left and valet had crashed our car. Safe to say i won’t be going back.
Terrible service, wait 1h20min for my table.
We had a one hour wait even with a reservation. I understand it’s Valentine’s Day but walk-ins were getting the same wait time as folks with reservation, which I think defeats the purpose.
Great dinner! Service was great and food was delicious. The meatball appetizer is a must order!
Whoever liked the restaurant isn’t from northern NJ. We have the best Italian food, and prime Italian was sub par at best. The chicken used for chicken Parm was clearly old and reused- very chewy and tough.
Service was slow, we waited awhile for the server to come back
Amazing food and great service. Had a reservation and was seated early. Would definitely recommend the spaghetti with the Kobe meatball and the chicken parm. Portions are huge and definitely to share. Loved the ambiance and the fact that it was not too loud. Of course the fried Oreos dessert is a must-have!
Probably some of the best italian food we have ever eaten. Highly recommend this place.
The food was great! Especially, the cheesy garlic bread. The portions are huge. The breaded mozzarella was outstanding and very unique with great flavor of balsamic vinegar. The Parmesan risotto was not up to the mark but the Penne alla vodka was flavorful. The chicken Marsala was exceptional and the sauce was very flavorful and unique to its taste. The spaghetti with clams was very sumptuous. We also had a side of Mac and cheese Truffle and that was good too. The food was outstanding! The service was good but at times felt rushed by the waitress. Overall, was a good experience!!
The server was to serious and havent recomend us anything, we just have to order by the menu
I love prime Italian. Their garlic bread is so filling and you can most likely share any pasta dish the portions are large.
I wish my server would have gave me and my husband more attention while we were their for our anniversary. I asked the server what do he suggest and his reply was “whatever your in the mood to eat.” This was our first time at prime Italian and I didn’t like the service at all. Another situation that happened. There was another couple sitting directly behind us, while we were trying to give our order to the server he left and rushed to get the other table order. That was very rude of him. You never judge a book by its cover and I don’t think I will return due to the poor service.
The service seemed very rushed, which we did not enjoy. Prime across the street was a much better experience.
My shrimp in the shrimp scampi dish was over cooked. In addition, I got the pasta with the scampi and apparently it was a 10 dollar upcharge, so a 48 dollar dish became a 58 dollar dish (plus it was supposed to come with garlic toast and they didn’t even give me that).
Upsides: atmosphere; fried mozzarella appetizer; and fried Oreo desserts.
Took visitors from Idaho for their first visit and they were impressed! Food and service were top-notch and we got the table that we requested. Even on a busy Friday night. We enjoyed tremendously and will be back.
This amazing restaurant was recommended by many friends and it did not disappoint! The food, atmosphere, service were all fabulous. We started with THE meatball....the best, along with the tomato and mozzarella which is fresh and delicious. All the main courses were perfect and such big portions that we had a nice amount to bring home with us. The bone-in veal parm, chicken parm, linguini with white clam sauce and 8oz filet mignon....WOW! Too stuffed to get dessert, but hear we must go back to try the fried Oreo! Can’t wait to return.
Awesome food as always and great service - well worth the trip down to the end of Ocean Drive and fun to watch Prime 112 across the road! The portions are massive but no complaints about that
The best restaurant On south beach hands down . The food Hs amazing and the staff is too. One of my favjrtite places to eat !
Always a staple to go to in Miami. Brought a bottle of wine with us this time and didn’t get treated with the same high level of service despite getting appetizers and entrees. Still very good restaurant.
The service and the food was excellent. The restaurant is located in one of the hot spots of Miami Beach. You would enjoy the food and the Miami Beach environment.
Prime Italian was excellent. Great service, amazing food
The manager was arguably autistic. And the waiter was an arrogant f*ck.
Jose our server was excellent. Food incredible and ambience was perfect.
Our bartender on the other hand wasn’t that friendly. She had a sour look on her face and chatted to the customer next to us more about her boyfriend then acknowledging we existed. 😂
Very crowded but delicious food and friendly waiters.
Great place to dine!
One of the best in Miami!
New Years Eve Dinner; Our waiter was fabulous; Food was delicious; Will definitely return on our next visit to Miami
We had a late reservation but were seated earlier than our reservation time which was a plus. The table that we were given however was the worst corner table they had - pretty much on the sidewalk with wind blowing from every direction possible. We lasted 5 minutes and asked the waiter if we can switch to a different table as it looked like there were other options. The waiter came back and said that nothing was available. We lasted another 5 minutes and frustrated i went back to the hostess. She said that she will switch us to a table by the door. 5 minutes later I see that she sat someone at the table by the door. Went back to see her AGAIN and she offered another table.
The waiter was pushing really hard for their specials $65 for 5 lobster ravioli and $95 seafood pasta. When asked about other option he didn’t have many recommendations. The food was average at the most, however the portions were large. I had a pasta with Kobe meatballs and the broccoli was so bitter you couldn’t eat them, there was no sauce on my pasta therefore it felt like eating plain pasta shells with meatballs - super dry. My husband had linguine pasta with clams, but after trying my dish said mine was better.
If i would go back, it wouldn’t be for the food but the scene, maybe a salad and drinks. It is located in the hottest spot with lots of traffic. Good people watching spot with lots of nice exotic cars.
