    Showed up on time sat at the bar with my two guests until our table was bussed. Friend ordered drinks while we waited for our table but was charged a mandatory gratuity of 18%. We should have waited for our table if we knew we were going to be charged! I ordered a Bob Marley and the Bartender made it look like a black drink from Halloween! I was disappointed at this point. We finally got to our table, received our food but one of my friends had a long black hair in her cabbage! I noticed when I went to the bathroom I saw an elderly woman cooking food with no net on her head! Unacceptable! The waitress was accommodating and did not charge for the meal. She had great customer service. This was my friends first experience which was a total bust! I hyped the place up and she was dissatisfied. It looked like you guys were overwhelmed with not enough help Saturday evening. Please do better. Thank you, A loyal patron

    Diamond was a phenomenal hostess.She was very friendly and accommodating.Food and music was the bomb.I came with my mom and cousin and we were all beyond satisfied.The mimosas were truly BOTTOMLESS.

    We arrived around 1:05pm with a 1:30pm. We were acknowledged immediately by a male greeter who started our checkin process then abandoned it without a word. The manager came over with a nice smile finished checking us in and sat us at a nice table. We waited for 35 minutes before anyone came to our table to drop of mint water. The waiter then came with more water and we were like no we need food no one’s even came to acknowledge us. It was 1:45 before the waiter came. Once she did we all ordered oxtail plates with macaroni, festival bread. We were so hungry we asked for a complimentary appetizer in the form of a patty in which the waitress agreed but later charged us for. The food came out cold and didn’t come until 2:43pm, the cabbage was thrown on the plate with a very little like a small kids handful, the rice n peas were dry, the plantains were not sweet and the oxtail were 3 big ones with fat. The festival bread was burnt. The only good thing was the patty. We ordered the passion punch bowl for $50 which was full of more ice than drink. We didn’t eat the festival bread. The waitress inquired did we want to take it we said no we didn’t like it and she walked off. No acknowledgement of our concern, no asking how was everything nothing. Just brought us a $267 bill and walked off. None of our food or experience was worth this money and rather than spend time complaining at an establishment who clearly doesn’t score on customer service, attitude and timely food delivery, we just paid and have decided not to return. This is not my first experience like this as I’ve ordered online before and waited 30 minutes or more for jerk Mac n cheese. No one even offers you anything while you wait, water, complimentary drink or nothing when you were told your order would be ready in 15. Nevertheless keeping these incidents separate, it’s safe to say for me this place is overrated and only good for vibes. My guests also did not enjoy the food or the 1.5+ hour wait for bad food.

    The food was good however this place needs to work on customer service. We waited 15 minutes before our drink order was taken. After that it took 30 minutes to get out drinks. Then over 1 hour and 15 minutes before the food came. Our waitress never checked on us not one single time. Anytime we needed something I had to literally ask her to the table. This place has potential but they need to train their waiters and waitresses.

    Oxtails we’re cold. Disappointed food was not made kept warm. This type of food is used to make to order but it shouldn’t be cold.

    My second time here, decided to give it another try and again, there was NO air conditioning. it was uncomfortably hot. we had to fan ourselves with our MENU! they had tower fans in there but only pointing in certain directions like, towards the bar. there were flies flying around. the tables were soo close together that the servers and guest were bumping our table. another guest slung her hair which almost got into my plate of food… THATS how close we were! the service was TERRIBLE. we had to wave down a server whenever we needed something because no one came to check on us AT ALL! we had to ask for refills on our water pitcher because no one came and refreshed it when it got low. mind you, the restaurant was not packed so there’s no excuse. the drinks were disgusting. we also had hookah and asked for a refill, we were told no because there were other people on a list waiting for one.. which meant they only had 4 hookahs available? also, when some sort of influencer came in, she received amazing service. she was being checked on, received her food quickly, etc. WHY CANT ALL GUESTS GET THAT?? i will never return to this establishment ever again and do not recommend.

    Shout out to Shamiya for making our experience amazing. She provided great customer service and that gold ole southern hospitality. Food was awesome and the recommended lavender mimosa was breath taking literally!!! My favorite dish was the esqovich red snapper a little spicy but we enjoyed.

    The menu is a scam. An upcharge of 18 dollars for Jerk Salmon instead of Jerk Chicken is a major rip off and will never go back again.

    This was my first time here, I came For a birthday brunch & it was good. Took a minute to get seated, when I walked in no one greeted me & I was a bit confused at first. Once we were seated it took a server a long time to come to us… i think they were short staffed. Overall the food was good and the mimosas were great

    I come here often. The food is good, I’ve tried the curry chicken , the oxtail Mac and cheese , the oxtail Ragu, the oxtail plate and the jerk wings. I would recommend them all. I’m used to spicy jerk, their wings are not. I will say that. I love the vibe here, music isn’t too loud so you can still hold a private conversation. But the selection of music always puts me in the mood to dance. The drinks are tasty, potent and well priced. Everything is pretty affordable overall. Give a try, great for brunch… they also have hookah, not my thing but FYI.

    GREAT FOOD. Super small space that is packed really tight. I understand trying to have a full restaurant, but some tabled definitely need to be removed to make more space just in general so people aren't sitting on top of each other. Especially when the more people create more noise to where the dinner isn't enjoy, rather uncomfortable and you end up waiting super long for your food because there's soooo many orders and not enough staff. If I'm in the area, I'd definitely eat here again, but it will be strictly take out

    Great great GREAT food. I was in town for business and have been on the road for weeks. I have to Uber eats my meals a lot and don’t get solid food that often. This hit the spot! Going back tonight before I fly out tomorrow.

    First time there had reservations but, were able to chose our own table. 3 tables outside dirty two tables inside dirty by the entrance. We wanted to sit inside we had the baby with us but knew they do not have AC so entrance was better to feel the breeze. Waiter “really out of all the tables you chose the dirty one and now I gotta clean it” yet there was 5 tables dirty three available outside dirty and two by entrance dirty. Brushed it off. Waitress took forever and never really came to asked how we were. Dishes placed were dirty left for her to bring new ones never did and left on our table. We received our food without utensils she took forever to bring some but, chit chat away with another waitress. Restrooms were filthy. Ordered jerk lamb chops (overcooked) jerk salmon (overcooked charcoal) will never attend again.

    Everything was great. The food and service was great my only complaint would be how hot it was inside there was no air conditioning they had one large fan that you can only feel if you were sitting in front of it, one small fan that barely worked and two portal air conditioners that faced certain tables I’m unsure if their air conditioning was not working that day but it would’ve been nice to be have gotten a heads up

    I had a reservation over a week ago at 8:30pm and the restaurant closes as early as 10pm. I showed up early before my reservation and it was closed for a day. I plan to visit earlier in person but that's very unprofessional.

    Great ambience! The absolute best oxtails I’ve ever had! The jerk salmon was really good as well. It was seasoned to perfection & the sauce was beautifully balanced with the salmon.

    Everything we tried was amazing except the jerk and waffles. The presentation was really good, but whatever coloring they used for the waffles, you can taste it and it was not a pleasant taste. Other than that, the food was SO good.

    This was my first time coming to this restaurant it’s been on my list my black owned restaurants to try for months. My high school from came to visit from ATL so I said this is the perfect time to check it out, called up our other two friends and made reservations! Every single thing that we ordered was amazing. We of course got the bottomless mimosas and We got the Oxtail Mac n cheese which was sooo flavorful and creamy, and the garlic shrimp fries which was also heavenly, for starters. Then I ordered the Jerk Lamb chops and they where so juicy and very well seasoned. One of my friends got the oxtail fettuccine and it was so good another friend got the jerk salmon and my friend from outta town got the oxtail plate and of course we sampled from all plates and everything was just amazing. We will definitely be back so we can try the other food items in the menu.

    The air was not working while we were there, which made dining very uncomfortable. They had a huge fan to cool the place down, and tried to sit people right in front of it. They ended up sitting outside instead. Even though there were only seven people in the restaurant, it took a very long time to get food. Our server barely checked on us even though we were her only table. The music was great, the food was good but it wasn’t worth the price.
