Incredible view, nice service, fair food , bad drink
fascinating night scenary with delicious food, good service as well
Nice venue...great view. Service a little cold, and not enough time taken to explain wine and food. Aqua is a premium priced restaurant, and guests should be made to feel VERY special. Overall, food was good, but not exceptional. In particular, the risotto was quite bland, and no pepper or salt was offered. My girlfriend was served a dessert with a happy birthday message, but it wasn't really served with much warmth. Again, overall, need to make guests feel valued and special when paying a premium price.
Great view of Hong Kong Island. Got to see the light show too!!
Great atmosphere but food so so except Japanese menus
I was there to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Haven't been back for over 10 years. Front desk service was poor. Girl wasn't very polite. Servers are good (Indian guy) was nice. Food choices were a bit exotic. I was asking for kids menu but there was none. I ordered a California roll and were late for 30 minutes after chasing the managers 5 times. The lead manager finally came to apologize and offer to give us free dessert but by then I already had my ice-cream so I didn't want to be greedy and just simply declined. Overall, $2000 spent but didn't get much out of it. Maybe just go there for a drink and that's about it. First date night might be ok. But family celebration would not be a good idea. Too dark.
Do not receive the feeling of welcome at the front desk when arrived!
The food doesn't impress me at all. The food was definitely overpriced.
The desserts were melting because they were placed near the window.
Fabulous service and great value for money. Kid’s were welcomed and well looked after
Terrible attitude from their management - no wonder it was only half full whilst the Zuma brunch is fully booked weeks ahead.
Bad food, shasimi are not fresh with high price
Bad service, two ladies at reception were keep talking and ignored guest arrival. Have made change on my previous booking to postpone 30mins, a lady confirmed but end-up no remark was made
My friend Amy and I enjoyed the recent dining experience at the Aqua on September 4. We especially would like to thank your staff “Shougten” (my apology for not spelling the name right) who had been attentive for taking action upon our different requests. The specially reserved birthday cake for my friend Amy is absolutely delicious😋 Overall, we enjoyed the foods, wines and staff services at the Aqua.
WORST SERVICE EVER! It took them 5min just to get a drink menu, 10min just to grab a wait staff to order a drink, and another 15min to receive my drink. One of the wait staffs was chatting with her friends sitting at the next table for the whole time. Because she was enjoying her "company" so much, she wasn't able to hear me calling her and I ended up yelling at her to order a drink. She asked me to wait because she needed to finish her chat with her friends. I tried to call different wait staffs because this wait staff standing right next to my table was too busy chatting with her friends. But no one was able to hear me or see me even though there were like 3 staffs just wandering around the restaurant doing nothing. It was the worst first 30-min experience I've ever had. I would've have left if it wasn't my friend's birthday.
As part of the reservation request, I clearly requested a window seat as it was a birthday of my friend. When we were there for the whole time, all the window seats weren't taken so I don't know why they did disregard my request. It would've been nice if they explain why I wasn't getting a window seat at the arrival.
The food was so so but super over priced, I ended up paying for more than 2K for 2 persons but I wouldn't mind coming back for its amazing view and the nice atmosphere. However, because of its terrible service, I am definitely NOT coming ever again.
Food was pretty bad… the risotto tastes uncooked and hard to bite
The restaurant had an awesome viewing the food was delicious👌
Shushi and sashimi were supermarket quality, if not lower.
Paste was good.
But the main dish "scallop & salmon" did not smell fresh.
Pilipino servers were courteous and proactive.
A fat local female manageress, I believe, was not attentive at all.
Overall experience : below average.
The service is just not justifiable. I am not sure how they forgot to give a spoon to drink the soup and risotto. Also when they came to deliver the bill the waitress keep standing there as in really wants us to pay and go out fast. I don't think she should do that as the restaurant is quite empty already. I hope the service can be improved.
nice Sunday brunch, good selection of champagne, wine and cocktail. Very relaxing
The ambiance and environment was better than I expected for brunch, having known Aqua to be very bustling and busy in the evenings. I think this was because of the set brunch arrangement. The views were fantastic and there was relative privacy and quiet to allow for private conversation. The place may need a little facelift in terms of decor and service.
I was very interested on trying the Negitori and was wonderfully surprised. Its very good compared to other places.
I always love coming to Aqua but this time the service wasn't up to scratch.
The food is still great, but being put in the back room we had to actually walk out to get the waiters attention. They didn't fill up our drinks without being reminded and brought the wrong food to our table multiple times. Service was slow when we did ask for drinks.
I was disappointed on my trip to Aqua this time.
Normal food quality
The Dinner set is a bit too much
Nice view, good service but the food was only average.
It’s all about the view, and the view makes up for whatever else is short.
Asked for tape water and did not give hahahahahahaha
The temperature was very cold. Some mistakes with the order. Spectacular view. So overall experience was not positive and poor value for money.
Excellent waitress. Very attentive and not intruding.
Great service & food
Very nice restaurant with great sea view, food and service.
This is the best view I have seen overlooking the Victoria Harbour from a restaurant. The ambience is nice, and it has great food and services. The price is high, but for the view and experiences it is worth going for your special events or celebration
The view is spectacular and the reason we went back to enjoy with the family. I think it is very expensive for what it is and to charge so much, the expectation of food and service should all be in sync.
Last night was a special night to be with the family and the view was breathtaking!
I would recommend for the view.
It sits at a wonderful view of HK harbor. Quality food and service, good place to go for a special occasion.
Service was good..waiters were attentive. View was spectacular!
The menu could be expanded to add more different types of cuisines..especially for vegeterians.
online reservations is easy to make. food taste good. staffs are friendly.
Bit disappointing. Food wasn’t special, my dish wasn’t even really warm. They didn’t have several wines that were on the menu. No eye for detail regarding drinks (no pieces of fruit where you expect them). The view is spectacular though.
Outstanding services with top harbor view in Hong Kong. Wonderful experience for event night, window seat is highly recommended!
Nice view, service, food thanks for the wonderful night
The food was delicious and the service was very good. The food was served very quickly, and it was overall a very good experience.
The brunch was very good - food was brilliant, the DJ completely knocked it out of the park and they offered Oysters on the house which was very lovely.
The main issue was the service. The staff weren't attentive enough and some of the orders we placed were delayed. The risotto came after we had our desserts, the drinks were mostly delayed, the kitchen closed at 2.40pm even though the brunch was until 3pm (we were not told of this prior to the time).
Overall we had a good time - just needed better service
