Our hostess was great! She offered us to see their Mardi Gras museum, when we were seated our drink waiter went above and beyond as did our waiter! Our waiter split our salad onto two plates and placed our shrimp in the middle for sharing. I could not have asked for better service from beginning to end.

From the booking experience to the dining experience Arnaud’s was outstanding. Our waitstaff was very attentive and personable. Myra always wore a smile and took great care of us. The food was delicious and the timing of each course what perfect. Be sure to ask for their dessert menu as well. The table side banana foster was not only a fun experience, but delicious al a mode. Although we are just visiting New Orleans we will always come back for another unique experience at Arnaud’s!

An elegantly tired old New Orleans Grande Dame. Nothing special or interesting on the Menu. One diner's Trout dish (probably farm raised) was tasteless and dried out. The Oysters Bienville was a good way to ruin an otherwise good oyster. Lots of interesting alternatives in the city. Try them first!

Service was awesome. Wine by the bottle was extremely overpriced. The spinach casserole was terrible. Waiter did take it off the ticket. I'm a local and more than likely wont be back. My partner got the filet Charlemond at $45 and it was no more than 5oz. Overall, the service was impeccable, however the food lacked the same quality. Richard Davis

The Good, The Bad and The Worse. The good: Food and service are awesome. My wife had the Filet Mignon. It was perfectly cooked and extremely tender. I had the Frogs Legs. Just terrific taste and nice and crispy. Overall excellent. The bad: The noise is OVERWHELMING. Waiters have to scream at you , for you to hear the. Table conversation is virtually impossible. The worse: The dress code. They have a dress code on their website and it would certainly be nice if they enforced it. There was a guy sitting at the next table wearing, jogging shorts, t-shirt and baseball cap. Complete BS. At least someone could have told him to take the cap off. This is Arnaud's after all. The waitstaff is wearing tuxedoes. If you are not going to enforce the dress code, remove it from your website.

First time at Arnauds for date-night. It did not disappoint. Food and service was first rate. I had the oyster appetizer…Outstanding! My partner had the fillet with mushroom sauce. Maybe the best ever. We went to a lot of trouble to dress up following the guidelines on their website, yet 20% of other diners didn’t bother.. it just irks us. 80% of us were looking for the first class experience and dressed accordingly. Rubes in jeans and cheap flowered shirts tarnish an otherwise perfect evening.

Amazing place, best classic New Orleans food in the city; you can pay more to go to august or the new four seasons but the best food in the city is here. The soufflé potatoes, the classic French 75, the shrimp arnaud, and the fresh special Pompano fish is the best you can do in the city. Been in New Orleans for almost a decade, top two places are Arnauds and Clancy’s hands down!

I ordered the Ponchitrain which was excellent. My wife ordered the crab cakes which were good but a bit to doughy. The signature potatoes were very good. We had an after dinner coffee drink prepared at the table by Travis… 5 stars on that!! The service was excellent by Mike, Travis, and the woman assigned to our table. I would strongly recommend putting up several acoustic panels throughout the dining room. The panels could be white so they are not obtrusive.

Arnaud’s - ah no! We were so looking forward to a wonderful meal in supposedly a quintessential NoLa restaurant. Sadly disappointed in the service and quite honestly the food too. Arnaud’s was pretentious and caters to those who like to name drop a restaurant and pay a lot of money just to impress others people. For better dining experiences stay out of the French Quarter and head to the Garden District. For the full details keep on reading below. Granted it was a Saturday night and they were busy, we waited over 30 minutes for our reservation and when we finally get seated we were given just the wine list. Sat there for 10 minutes and finally the main server comes by and gives us menus. No real greeting or welcome to Arnaud’s like tables around us were being greeted, but we were told they were out of one of their signature side dishes, the potato soufflé. The menu is “classic” with a few selections but it felt quite limited. We like variety and rarely select the same dish, but unfortunately the only appealing dish was the Pompano Duarte (sautéed fish with gulf shrimp). When the main waiter finally came back to check on us we honestly told him it was just okay, that’s when the attitude started and we never saw him again. The Maître D came over and also asked how the food was so I pushed it by saying it was mediocre, we were offered to have another dish but we were basically finished with our dish and no other dishes on the menu were appealing to us which we told the Maître D and then got served more attitude. There was one support server who was courteous and when we told him about the attitude from the waiter and Maître D, he was very apologetic and the only sincere person we dealt with.
