Poor, inattentive service - We had to flag a server down every time we needed something.
Gustavo de bartender an de Sinaloa host were so so kind with us
I’ll happily return
Great food in casual setting. Food was excellent. Bartender made one of the best margaritas I have had in a long while.
Atla always a wonderful and delicious healthy Mexican cuisine choice.
The consistency of the dishes has changed since my handful of visits last year. The duck wings were mushy and drenched in sauce. On my last time they were so perfectly crispy we had to order a second. Typically you can order anything off that menu and it is always beyond delicious. This time, we had a lot of hit or misses - especially that corn pancake. The only thing that remains consistent are the beverages and the tortillas. Those are always absolute perfection.
Server was not hospitable. Did not make any eye contact while taking our orders, did not check up on us and asked if we were doing okay later as he was walking by. He was more attentive to the six top as oppose to his other tables. Food and beverages were very good !
The food was absolutely delicious and after reading about Daniela Soto-Innes, I had to try it. I enjoyed every bite and the highlights to me were the Cecina, Scallions & Nopal and the Cauliflower Taco Al Pastor. I also had the dessert tamle and highly recommend. My only reason for not giving this experience 5 stars, the price compared to the portion size. The Cali Taco Al Pastor, for example, was around $14 for a single, large taco. I would have preferred to see that prepared as 3 smaller tacos and think $12 would be sufficient...the tamle was amazing, but $14 and about 3 bites. Cocktails were wayyyy too expensive to try ($17, for a margarita, even!), which might be a side effect of the location, so I opted to try one of their juices.
Best red chilaquiles ever!
Cauliflower pastor taco is outstanding.
Our third Enrique Olivera restaurant and it did not disappoint. The best is still Pujol the best hands down.
Atla is tasty and has a lively atmosphere, but the food is more or less the same price as at their “big sibling” Cosme, where the food is even better and the atmosphere more relaxing. The hosts were trying to push everyone to counter seating, even those like us who had reserved standard. We had a standard table, but next to the counter, and so had someone’s butt uncomfortably close throughout the meal. Our server and the other staff were great and the food was very tasty, but with even tastier food in roomier quarters on offer at the same group’s Cosme, I‘m much much likelier to go there than Atla.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Atla. The food was unique and delicious. We shared several small plates and enjoyed them all. The restaurant is small and the bar occupies a good portion of the space, so the noise level is high. There were two of us, so easy to converse across the table. With a larger group you might struggle to hear someone at the other end. One criticism was that the lighting was too dark. Combine that with the black print on a blue paper menu...thank you Apple for the flashlight accessory on my phone. The service was attentive and not obtrusive. Great cocktails and great food made for a good night out.
One of my favorite places in NYC! Best healthy creative Mexican food in the city. LOVE/LOVE/LOVE.
HIGHLY recommend!!!! KP xo
I met a dear friend for lunch at Atla. The space was crowded and lively in a good way; we were able to have a private conversation while enjoying the restaurant's energy. The food was fabulous. I love to cook so truly appreciate restaurants where I can try interesting and delicious food that I would never have the time to make at home.
Always love the food and vibe here. Kitchen was really slow on this occasion. Thought we would at least get a comp.
But of course we will be back.
Best Mexican meal I've had in NYC. The augachile was about as good a dish as I've had in a long time. Service was great. Sit at bar and ask for Felix!
La calidad de los alimentos, así como el sazón y presentación no va de acuerdo al precio, ademas de que el lugar es muy ruidoso.
Everything was fine but when the kitchen refused to plate our fish, after it was served and looked beautiful, on two plates so it could be shared, (a main entry that we were told by our waiter that it would be a good dish to share), we thought it unfriendly and ridiculous. Otherwise we enjoyed the food. The music level should be reduced a bit.
Food is good but incredibly overpriced. There is similarly high-quality food in the neighborhood for more reasonable prices.
Portions were meager compared to the relatively high price point for simple food. While the food was quite good I would say that it was didn’t have anything special and was rather anonymous when compared to brunch fare in the locale. To do it all over again I would walk across the street for a finer dining experience at a similar if not lower price point.
This restaurant was recommended by a friend and the food was good, but the service staff was very rude. My friend and I did not order alcohol and once they knew we weren't drinking they couldn't have gotten us out of there fast enough. We both ordered entrees so we spent a decent amount of money, but all they were concerned about was getting us out of there. I would not go back.
One of NY’s best restaurants just keeps getting better
Delicious, that is all.
Great food and service! Enjoyed our early dinner here, but as the restaurant filled up the noise level increased.
Awesome Mexican brunch in a great location with great service. Couldn’t have asked for more.
Very very good food
Really unique dishes that were very good!
