Located on West Avenue, the restaurant features a sleek dining room and a lush tropical garden ideal for alfresco dining. Barton G. The Restaurant Miami Beach serves parties of any size from date nights and birthdays to private parties and large groups.
Requests for indoor/outdoor dining may be made, but table location is never guaranteed.
We politely decline reservations for dessert only.
I really wanted the crispy whole red snapper and deviled eggs however, the waiter said it was no longer on the menu. :( I ordered the orange salmon instead. The food was good. Not great.
The server was amazing. The short rib was to die for! I loved all the theatrics. Can’t wait to visit again.
For what I paid for it honestly wasn’t worth it. There was absolutely no privacy ! The tables are sooo close the waiter kept bumping into me to serve the table next to me....his butt was in my face practically. Then I could join in the conversation with girls next to me because they were sitting so close....then you have to shout to hear what each other has to say. Even shouting at the waiter he still didn’t hear my garlic mushrooms or he just forgot it.
I honestly expected more, it was my boyfriends birthday it was the only reason why I didn’t leave from the moment we were seated.
The food wasn’t bad but it was great, not much seasoning at all. At least it was hot.
This was my experience.
Hopefully some changes are made.
Worth a visit when in south beach
Big portions and well presented
Very nice place
The price is on the high side for what is nowhere near the top level of cuisine
Excellent service - 20% was automatically included
Pay 400 dollars plus for 2 course plus a couple of drinks for 2 people
My husband and I went to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious and it matched the over the top presentation. We would highly recommend it for a date night or a night out with friends.
It was my first time. We had a fantastic experience dining at Barton G’s. Food, service and ambiance was great! I have and will continue to recommend this restaurant while visiting Miami.
Absolutely amazing!!!! Everyone must try this place at least once. Food was very good, presentation was impeccable and service was top notch. Will definitely recommend!!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Birthday on 6/15/2019
Monica made the experience amazing.she was very informative and made sure to always check on us. It was my first time having my family there! They were so surprised with each display. My boyfriend & I birthdays was a success.
Too instagramable & crappy food.
I had an amazing time, I’ve been dying to get to BartonG and it was all I anticipated. I celebrated my 42nd Birthday and it was Over The Top, just how I like it. My waiter was very kind and took pictures for us, I will remember this experience for a lifetime.
Restaurant was not good, service was not good they rushed our dining experience the whole time. We couldn't enjoy our dinner because of that. Don't waste your money, you can go other places for a better dining experience.
Exquisite experience from beginning to end. I had an amazing unforgettable anniversary dinner.
Food was good. Especially the themes. Pricey but worth it. Will definitely return.
1 word, AMAZING. Been waiting to try this restaurant and I can say it did not disappoint. The service was so good, the waiters knew the menu fully, and was able to answer all our questions (allergies/cheese/etc). The daily specials were great portions. I’ve never experienced such a beautiful and fun restaurant. Noise level was perfect, especially considering all the presentations of food. The service was fast on top of everything, will be back next year!
The worst dining experience ever. The server was not clear about specialty items on the menu and ended up charging us over $350 for meals that we did not intentionally order. When we tried to explain the miscommunication to the manager he was extremely rude and discriminative. What was completely a misunderstanding became an embarrassing and very overwhelming event that included the police. This was all a result of the server not properly explaining the menu options. Also, the lobster was very tough and chewy for the price to be $125. Establishments like these do not value the black dollar and we felt racially profiled from the moment we stepped in the building. The decor was nice, but that was about it. My birthday dinner became a disaster in a matter of 45 mins. Never coming here again!
Everything was outstanding except the service. Although our waiter was great, the other service person made us feel like we were rushed. She kept asking if she could take our plates, and quickly took our food displays.
I came to Barton G June 8th for my 25th birthday dinner, I had a 9:45pm reservation and didn’t get seated until after 10:00pm. Food was terrible and service wasn’t so great!
Went there for my son’s Birthday! It’s one if his favorite restaurants. Always a great time!
A whole lot of hype....I was expecting a much better presentation for the amount of money spent. Maybe much younger kids could get something out of it but my 17 year old was not impressed and neither was I.
We are locals who have been going to Barton G for years. Last night was officially our last time there. The food is so low quality. We had the tomahawk steak - it was so fatty it was inedible. The manager bought us dessert as an apology for the steak which was nice but still the food was terrible. The service was inattentive. The noise level is ridiculous but expected. The price was outrageous given the low quality of the food and the lack of actual alcohol in the drinks. We will never return.
Was very noise wen we arrived , I was upset cause wanted outdoor sitting and just today was closed that section ... our waiter was stressed but at the end we had a great experience and we do understand that sometimes things can be different if the expectations ... food and service where excellent thank-you !!
I would highly recommend this to family and friends.when they come to Miami very very different
Unlike any dining experience I have had. However, the overall experience felt a bit more Chuck E Cheese than magical or refined. Each dish comes with its own oversized presentation—all the tunas come with massive samurai swords, all the lobster pastries come served in retro toasters, the drinks each have their own LED-lit base with over-the-top accoutrements. The atmosphere was very kitschy, but quickly became repetitive by the time a third waiter walked by with a blow torch and welding mask to light a dessert sparkler. The food was well executed, but not especially inventive. Would be a very pricy place to take a kid for a fun and memorable meal, but overall I feel no need to go back.
Took my boyfriend there for his birthday and we had an amazing time! He loved and it and we are definitely going back!!
Hamburger to expensive for what I receive
And nothing special in the flavor
The decorations espectacular
Prompt to seat us.
Waitress came over right away
Didn’t explain menu so great
$85 for 2 drinks ridiculous
Chargers me $9 for sparkling water never refilled us once and left it behind me and I didn’t notice it was there until we left.
Portions were small
Food over priced
I get it has a theme and is supposed to be fun.
But for 2 people to eat with no appetizers and only having 2 drinks our bill was $295.00
The service was ok. The ambience is not there at all, the music is so random. The food was subpar especially for the price, you pay the theatrics which is why you go there - but you also want to enjoy what you’re eating.
I had a reservation set at 9:30 when I arrived I had to wait an extremely long to to be seated .... way past my reservation time . What’s the point of making a reservation if I’m going to be seated an hour later ? No one cared as if this happens all the time it was my birthday and it set me back on doikgbtge things I wanted to do . I order the ribs although it was good but he portion was very small
Food was very disappointing, the only good thing is the funny desserts and cocktail they have that’s all. Very overpriced too
The food took over an hour to arrive, the waitress never came to check on us and the manager just made excuses for the delay and blamed it on how busy the restaurant was even though 1/3rd of the tables were empty.
I have been dining at Barton G for over ten years and it is disappointing to see the service has deteriorated so much. It will likely be my last visit as it was one of the worst dining experiences for me and multiple other tables who were dining at the same time.
orders never came on time, waiter could never be found, made a mistake on the bill, not what it used to be,
when told the manager, he couldnt have cared less, was too busy flirting with the hosteses
Mixed drinks were not good, quality of food is not what it used to be. Also, we were seated outside which of fine except that in Miami you would think they would have more fans. It was hot and we were getting bit by mosquitos.
Barton G. is such a fun restaurant! Loved how whimsical the presentation of food from appetizers, salad, entree, drinks to desserts is!! I would definitely recommend it, especially for a special and fun occasion.
I love this place! It’s always great! Great food, great ambiance, great service!
The props used for the drinks were broken, the “show” used to be better now feels like just a big prop and that’s all, the food was ok but nothing to warrant the experience promised, and the crowd was rough
Celebrated my 23rd birthday here was nothing short of amazing. We were seated right away and our waiter was very nice and energetic. The concept is what wowed me. The buddhalicious drink was so yummy and not to powerful just the perfect mixture or sweet and tart. The surf and turf was just the right amount to share between two people again tasted AMAZING!!!. The dessert is what really made my birthday the cotton candy head was a show stopper. Will definitely recommend Barton G if your in Miami.
