Our server was the best. There are hardly any customers when we arrived at 6:30, that had us a bit concerned. By the time we left at 8:45 the restaurant was full, like a pre-COVID sized crowd. The crab bisque was scrumptious, and is still the best in the city.

Bathrooms were not maintained. No patrons there yet horrible service. Had to ask for water and our ordered drinks multiple times. Presentation of crab cakes were poor. Some dishes were over blackened. Bread pudding hear used to be the best… now it doesn’t taste fresh, it’s too dense and has a freezer taste. Bummer Summer. We used to love this place

Upon entrance the restaurant reminded me of a low end Bj's, new and nice but cheaper looking. It's very clean and the greeter was professional. I really enjoyed the food, the waiter was nice, attentive and knowledgeable. The food isn't expensive but the a bit pricier than expected. This was restaurant week so their menu is for 55 dollars a 3 course meal. I think it's too much considering some of their competitors. Seasonal Signature drinks on the menu are too expensive and not worth it. Stick with the basics. Great Happy Hour prices. Deviled eggs were great but should be a half a dozen not 4. Lol Pasta Liberty was good but I can do without the red and green pasta. Dessert was good. I revisit in the future.

Very nice, and not really busy at all. I would recommend trying the specials menu as it caters more to a newer palate. I enjoyed bringing my fiancées family to dinner here.

The sauteed crab finger appetizers was excellent. Our server was top notch, very personable and attentive. The salads were nice and chunky and held up well to whatever dressing was ordered. Everyone in my group enjoyed their entrees as well.

I would go back. Enjoyed my pasta dish, but the scallops needed a little salt. We also tried some fried fish. Didn’t really like it because the coating was unseasoned.

Phenomenal service & absolutely amazing food! Kale salad was one of the best salads I have eaten-combo of flavors was perfect! The crab claws were by far Thea best I’ve had in the Houston area! Although I prefer my gumbo with okra, it was delicious & full of shrimp & crab! The snapper liberty was oh so good! Loved how it was topped to compliment the fresh fish & not overpowering! It was so fresh the portion sizes were huge! Last was the recommended cheesecake! Absolutely delicious! We will be back soon!

I was able to make a same-day reservation on the OpenTable app, but it wasn't necessary because the restaurant wasn't crowded at all. Our waitress was AMAZING. She offered some of the best customer service I've had in quite a while. She was able to answer all of our questions and made sure to check on us throughout our time there. We had two appetizers- the Seafood Gumbo and the Spicy Cajun Chicken Fingers. The Seafood Gumbo was a bit bland even after adding salt, pepper, and hot sauce. On the other hand, the Spicy Cajun Chicken Fingers were a generous portion AND the sauce that came with them was DELICIOUS. I can't remember the exact name of the drink I ordered, but it was either a Blueberry Lemon Drop or a Blueberry Martini. The first few sips were delicious, but it started to get tart the more that I drank it. I wouldn't recommend it. I ordered the Pasta Justice with angel hair pasta. The sauce is a combination of their diablo sauce (tomato based) and their Alfredo sauce and it comes with jumbo-sized shrimp. Simply put, the pasta tastes like spaghetti with shrimp instead of meatballs, but spicy! I enjoyed it. I had a bit of the Pasta Apache with fettuccine pasta. Although the menu labels it as spicy, it wasn't spicy at all. It was decent, but could definitely use a bit more seasoning. I wasn't a fan of the garlic bread. It wasn't very flavorful and I would have loved for it to be served a bit warmer. The cheesecake was very good and the texture was perfect. Overall, I rate this place a 3 out of 5 stars because although the customer service was AMAZING, a lot of the food items were a hit or miss.

The place was very ambient and service was great , food was fantastic and just by the customer presence that arrived for dinner tells you the food was good . The drinks were excellent especially the old fashioned. Make sure to make a reservation especially on a Friday or Saturday evening

It was my first time there and I made reservations for Father's day with my daddy. We were seated immediately however it took a while for our waiter to come to the table. The food and drinks are soooo good. My daddy said he will definitely return so will I. 😀

Cold boiled shrimp taste exactly as they should. Gumbo is good but needs a bit more flavor. Blackened catfish was very good. Cosmopolitan was weak. Tasted no vodka. Not unusual given the add-ins most restaurants utilize these days.

First time I can remember my family not loving the food. It was under seasoned. Garlic butter for crawfish was bland as was the crab bisque. I hope this is not the start of a decline. Service was great.

The restaurant is a very nice modern design. It feels very welcoming. The service was very good. The food was served hot and with good timing between courses. The blackened Alligator was really good. It was tender and the spices was just perfect. I recommend that you order this for an appetizer.
