We love hamburgers more than anything else in the world... we know, we’re weird that way. Our love of ‘all things burger related’ inspired us to spend years researching what makes the perfect hamburger - meat-to-bun ratios, patty recipes and coarseness. Beef & Liberty is the product of that obsession - those technical details are exactly what we are all about. It’s this passion that’s made us want to share our burger addiction with you!

I would recommend the restaurant because if the food but not for the service - got served by some that had just started the previous day - did not understand what I asked ( do you have a children’s menu) had to repeat it three times and was told no there was no kids menu - when in fact there was a kids menu - super frustrating.

At least it was marginally better then last time when I had a glass if water spilt on to me by one of the waiters.

Oh well

such a cute place, first time at the wong chuk hang one to celebrate my birthday, staff were so friendly, had a table by the window and the atmosphere was overall great. we were all vegetarian and the food was AMAZING ( falafel burger and sweet potato fries🥰🥰) even got the cookie pan skillet for dessert and it was HEAVENLY! 100% will come back

Food menu very limited, mainly burgers.
Burgers are very bare, simply presented on a plate with nothing else. Not attractive at all. Does not feel good value. Sweet potato fries are nice
Service is excellent, very attentive and hospitable staff. Offer complementary dessert on special occasions to the celebrant.

I had my fifth birthday celebration here.
The ambience is excellent.
I’ve had the best night yet with my partner.
The entire menu is highly recommended, the elderflower tonic is worth a try.
A lesser-known restaurant... Fans of the Wan Chai branch should definitely go here to have your memories rekindled.
The waiters... they’re way beyond “excellent”.

The food was delicious but when the burgers came (after quite a long wait) they were really really pink in the middle, despite us having asked for medium/ well done, with no pink in the middle (wow we sound like such nightmare customers I’m sorry) but we sent them back to be cooked a little more. We then waited an extra 20 mins so we were a bit like ??? but like in the end it was all delicious and fine sooo I would still recommend

I ordered the avocado toast. It came with a lot of avocado and very little toast. Fortunately I was able to ask for more toast and made the avo to bread ratio much more palatable. Staff were very friendly and attentive. It was very easy to book. Great experience overall.

Great service! New waiter was very friendly and attentive, made our dinner experience very enjoyable. Food was great as well. The bacon&cheese burger’s bacon was a little salty but the meat patty was nice and moist. Would highly recommend the Thai beef salad! As for drinks, the Midnight Wake Up spiked shake was amazing, while the ginger and watermelon lemonades were just alright (and the lemonade drink size was a little small).

Really good service, literally personalised for each table. The food is of high quality and affordable. No real downside about the Wong chuk hang beef & liberty, except that it's a small restaurant, and booking may be necessary to have a table without (probably) waiting outside for 20-30 mins. The big upside: a seasonal burger, of amazing ingredients, imagination and taste ! Tried the Greek burger and it's worth every penny to taste that masterpiece !

It will be better if the price can lower a bit. The lunch set is around $130-160 which I believe I'll be more suitable to go down by 10% in this district.

Food and service was, as always, great. The Wong Chuk Hang branch should look into ways to better ventilate the space. I came out of the restaurant enveloped in burger greasy smell.

Meat was overcooked at every level.
Ordered medium rare, got medium well.
Ordered medium, got well done...
However, the waiter made it up by offering us a dessert. Staff was awesome and seats are comfy.
Will go back and hopefully the meat will be cooked perfectly.

It was kindof stuffy and hot. The lighting was too dark. But the food and service was superb as always!
