Belgard Kitchen is the restaurant component of the ’Vancouver Urban’ Brand Collective, alongside siblings Vancouver Urban Winery, Van Urban Cider, and Van Urban Beer Co. Inspired by fresh ingredients and local producers, our food menus highlight Canadian ingredients from east to west, taking influence from techniques across the globe, while our drink menus showcase BC wines and craft beer & cider made in house.

Open daily, we offer weekday lunch and Happy Hour, weekend brunch, and dinner seven nights a week.

    We love this restaurant and try to go there when we travel to Vancouver. The food is always delicious and the ambiance is lively yet warm and cozy. We’re not loving the cocktails so would stick with the wine and beer next time

    Disappointed with the Pizzette and the Cauli was just OK. The carpaccio should automatically come with a bread option Server was GREAT!! Wine flights were GREAT!

    Great food, great atmosphere attentive and professional service. The room was a little cold due to the reno going on - not really the most aesthetically pleasing tarp, but honestly, not a big deal b/c everything else went so well.

    Interesting industrial interior. Lots of wood panel that helped keep the noise down. We arrived 25 minutes early but the greeter was happy to slip us in early to our table. Wine and beer flights made our dinner even more interesting!

    Loved most dishes but our party found the flatbread on the prix fix menu really dry and disappointing. We also didn’t enjoy any of the wines (even ones we’ve had before) maybe because they taste different on tap? Overall service and food was great, thank you for a good evening!

    My eggs were under cooked, sent back. I had the polenta skillet. Then the tomato sauce was not cooked properly. I had that dish once before and it was not bad , so decided to order it again. Was disappointed

    I’m not usually a fan of brunch, they’ve re- invented the alternative Benny experience, that accompanied by an IPA and a flight of wines, time for a nap now!!

    Every item was better than the last. Our server was amazing. We were in there for my mom‘s birthday and they were lovely and accommodating. The food was great and for the amount of food we got I felt like we really got a great value for our dollar.

    Table was a bit small - we had 4 wine flights and charcuterie boards and it felt a bit busy….but the food was delicious, service was amazing and overall I would go again and recommend!!

    I went here with my friend for her birthday dinner and we both got the best of Belgard menu! Everything was delicious, the ambiance of restaurant was perfect, and our server was super lovely and knowledgeable. I’m glad I chose the Belgard Kitchen! The area is kinda sketchy outside, but inside the restaurant is outstanding so don’t let the outside fool you

    MUSIC IS TOO LOUD. THE POPCORN, SERVED WITH THE BELGARD BURGER, SHOULD BE A CHOICE OF SEASONING OR PLAIN. FOUND IT TOO SPICY WITH THE SEASONING USED. WOULD HAVE PREFERRED IT PLAIN. THE ONLY RESTAURANT, THAT I KNOW OF, THAT DOES NOT SERVE FRIES WITH THE BURGER.

    Having not visited Balgard since before COVID. I was eagerly looking forward to my return. As expected, the food was exceptional and presented beautifully, maintaining the high standard I have come to appreciate from Belgard Kitchen. However, I must admit that I was somewhat disappointed with the service during this visit. The service was notably slow, and my friend and I did not see our server as frequently as we would have liked. I appreciate that our server acknowledged this and admitted to not checking in with us as often as she would have preferred. I couldn't help but notice that it appeared the staff were more focused on catering to larger groups, possibly at the expense of smaller groups like couples. While I understand the importance of accommodating larger parties, it's essential that all customers, regardless of group size, receive attentive and timely service. This experience will not deter me from returning to Balgard. However, I do intend to be more proactive in seeking attention for service when needed during my future visits. I believe in the quality of the food and the overall ambiance of Belgard Kitchen, and I hope that the service aspect can match that same level of excellence in the future.

    Our meal was impressive, as usual. I brought my clients -- tourists -- visiting from the U.S. and they loved the restaurant that I chose for us. Prices are great; food is perfect; the restaurant ambience and setting is wonderful. Our server was nice, but our service was slow. It didn't make sense because we arrived at 5:30 before it got busy. This was the 3rd time that I've been at Belgard in the last 3 months. I'm in tourism and I always recommend it to clients. Thank you!

    Gathered here with the team to celebrate thanksgiving this year. Chose this place and BK did not disappoint. Family style spread with all the fixins, plus delicious cocktails and pumpkin pie cheese cake with caramel sauce! Muah! So good! Thank you!

    We were greeted promptly at the door and seated right away. The server was very attentive, checking in on us regularly and also offered suggestions for dietary restrictions. We were seated in a comfy cozy corner which was quiet and enjoyable before the larger table of guests showed up beside us. There were about 8 of them and they were very loud. After a while we couldn’t hear each other talk and began raising our voice to be heard so we decided it was time to go. We were celebrating a special occasion which we put in our reservation online but our server did not know this until one of our party brought it up. We then got a Happy Birthday wish. A bit underwhelming (considering what many other high end restaurants now offer birthday visitors) and it made us wonder why ask the question in the first place? But we still had a good time and the food was well prepared and arrived within a reasonable time. We would go back again sometime.
