Excellent food, and atmosphere. The Pizza's are made in an actual wood burning oven not gas allowing for the crust to get that unique flavor. The Tomahawk Chop was amazing as well.

Great food and lively crowd. It was pretty cold with all the doors open. I probably wouldn’t go there again until it warms up. The sommelier was very patient with us, and made sure we were happy with the wine. Overall great spot.

The food is fabulous. Pastas are out of this world. Pizza was fantastic. It is expensive, but worth it. It is a good looking restaurant and the staff is exceptional. Not surprised as they are also at Bavel.

Food was great as always. Seemed a bit understaffed. Put in so many drink and food orders that never arrived to our table. Our waitress never checked back in with our group and was no where to be found after our 2nd round of food arrived. One drink order came with the check after more than 30 mins.

I’ve eaten here before and never had this issue so maybe it was just an off night. Would have been terrible if it was a special occasion or date.

Will return but maybe during the week until they find a better rhythm.

Outstanding on every level. 4 stars for service only because they were running a full 40 mins behind with our reservation (in their defense it was raining HARD, which causes apocalyptic behavior in LA).

This place blew my mind! 100% worth the price, the food was phenomenal and we had amazing service. A great place to celebrate! Jenny and Juan helped us out that night and were excellent!!

It was my husband birthday. The reservation for 8 people, It was raining freeway was not moving there was a couple accidents I called the restaurant to let them know We are going to be late I waited on hold for 20mins by the time someone answered we were 4 mins away but late to our reservation time the person on the phone told me it’s fine but when you come you might have to wait to be seated because we are going to seat other people on your table. I said fine we arrived at the door I gave my name to the host did not get her name( black hair and she wear eye glasses ) and she told me your table is ready you have less than 2 hours to eat and leave because you arrived late I tried to tell her that’s not what the person on the phone ( Dani ) told me but she was very very rude to me another host jumped in and I explained to him the situation he understood very nice person and professional ( Phil ) he showed us to our table after that the food and the server were excellent. Life is not perfect things do happen against are will just a little understanding and better way of talking with guests would of been appreciated. Thank you

Spectacular. Bestia is worth the wait for a reservation, for a table, and for the food when it emerges from the kitchen! Everyone we encountered was nothing short of amazing and it's easily back on our L.A. to do list when we're back in town!

Love this place! Had such a cool vibe and atmosphere. Food was excellent as always. The bone marrow and clams/mussels is a must try! Customer service was on point. Will def come back again.

We had an 8:00pm reservation and our whole party was on time. We were told there were running 15 minutes behind and got some drinks at the bar. We checked in at 8:30pm as we still had not been seated. We were not seated until after 8:40pm. The served us a small tasting of prosecco as an apology for waiting, but did not offer to pay for our round of drinks, dessert, or bringing out a small appetizer on the house, as is customary at most restaurants of this caliber when you keep you guests waiting.

Great ambiance but meal felt heavy overall. The server may have misled us in our combo of dishes. His suggestions were good but not combined together. Cocktail was ok, pate was ok, pasta was ok, lamb neck was the show stopper - delicious!

Bestia is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in LA. Whenever I am in town, I try and make it there. The food and the service are both always outstanding. Highly recommend!!

Horrible experience with the hostess. We were told on the phone that we could be seated even if 4 of the six had arrived. The hostess said no even though I told her I specifically asked about this on the phone when confirming my Rez. I was also told on the phone by a woman that upping my group to 6 might mean we’d have to sit on the patio. But I could ask when I arrived. It was really cold and I asked the hostes can we have a table inside? No she says you can’t request where you sit. Then when I told her the other two are one block away can you seat us? She says, “ok, I will seat you now but only if you order immediately for the entire table.” I said, “you mean order for the two people who are on their way?” Yes she said and you have to promise to be done by 8:15 we have a second seating at 8:15. I said it’s 5:50. I’m sure we’ll be done by 8:15. Then she gives us a table inside. (Apparently she first had to be a jerk about it). Then BTW, the food DID NOT come all at once. And the portions were so small not everyone got to tasste all the dishes. Very disappointing.

This was our first visit to Bestia, it was crowded, very noisy and we were seated at the counter. Our first dish was the Gem salad, at this point we would have rated it 2 stars but the Gnocchi and the branzino were excellent as was the budino. The staff were very nice although our plates were confiscated as we were finishing them. We will return and make sure we book the patio and we also have a better idea of what to order and we will definitely pretend that we are in Italy which means we own the table for the evening!

Oh my god. The food, the wine, the service....all outstanding. We had the Marrow pasta dish which was close your eyes amazing. We loved the Chicken Liver Pate' and brussels sprouts, burrata pizza and the gnocchi were like pillows that melt in your mouth! Loved it.

The food is outstanding! I was sad that the agnolotti dish was not on the rotating menu but our waitress recommended another dish that turned out to be absolutely excellent!

Bestia is a little overhyped in my opinion. We went with a party of 4 on a Monday evening and the restaurant was completely packed. We were seated in a corner table on the patio, so the noise level was actually manageable for our table. Inside the restaurant is deafening. The service was not great except for our busser, Juan, who was attentive, friendly and saved us from a leak in the roof above our table when a sudden torrential downpour came out of nowhere.
The food was good - the bone marrow is not to be missed, and the radicchio salad was one of the best salads I have ever eaten! Cavatelli was good, and the Branzino was good too. We also ordered a lobster crostini was was on the salty side, and I would not order again, and the burrata pizza which was just ok, but necessary in order to actually feel full, as portions are small. The winter torte was a very refreshing way to end our meal.
Overall, I would go back for the bone marrow and the salad, but I had higher expectations for this restaurant.
Tip - parking in the arts district is nothing short of a nightmare - just uber or valet.
