I randomly made this reservation to try out something in the area. When we walked in I was surprised with how nice the place was. Very nice decoration and ambiance but as soon as we sat everything went downhill. The server came by, took drink order and asked for an appetizer on the spot. Not even 5 mins had gone by since we sat down. We ordered the octopus and a couple drinks. Nothing ever came out. Around 30 mins after the server came by and apologized. It seemed like he had forgotten to ring in? 10 mins later drinks come, 10 mins after octopus comes and he still had not taken our main course order. We ended up getting the pate and beef cheeks. Pate was good but the beef cheeks were not what we were expecting.. anyway, we could have asked for suggestions or descriptions if the server had paid any attention to us whatsoever but he didnt. The whole experience was meh. I work in the industry, managing fine dining and more casual dining and I was very disappointed to walk out dissatisfied after getting my hopes high when I saw how nice of a place was.

Billy Can Can has some amazing food with a very diverse menu. Their drinks are amazing and selection of alcohol is very impressive. The management and wait staff are impeccable!

Had two orders of the deviled eggs because they're that good. Fantastic burger and cocktails before a Stars game. This is our go to spot before we catch an event at the American Airlines Center. Love the location as well. Real comfortable and clean walk.

The menu could be expanded more to included some vegan or Vegitarian dishes. The steak was the perfect temperature but the cut was tough (petite fillet). Everything doesn’t need bacon in it or on it. The bar area is a great watering hole, loved it.

Absolutely delicious!! We started with a bottle of wine, the deviled eggs and cornbread. All terrific! I ordered the tile fish special and my husband had the monk fish special. Both dishes were creative and tasted fantastic!! The chef’s use of spices really made both dishes pop. Billy Can Can is our new favorite restaurant.

This was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a while. The food was incredible, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and the manager was incredibly personable. I've never felt so at home and welcomed in a restaurant before. I can't forget that I had the best burger I've had in Dallas yet and the octopus blew me away. If you're looking for a delicious meal with incredible atmosphere that won't break the bank, go to Billy Can Can. You won't regret it.

Walked in, front desk did not even acknowledge we were there for a few minutes( they were not busy) then we were seated in the back of the restaurant(very dark) then the food was om nothing special and very overpriced. Then at the end of the meal our waiter put all the drinks from another table on my tab. Not good at all! Not recommended!

My meal was absolutely delicious! The oyster appetizer was very fresh! I recommend the undressed option. The cornbread is always a favorite and I made sure to order some for the table. For an entree I had the beef cheeks which was melt in your mouth tender. I’ve been here 4 times and still haven’t had a bad meal! Can’t wait to go back!

Had the Monk Fish (wrapped in prosciutto) special. Best dish I’ve had in a very long time. My guest had the steak frites as always—and it’s always perfect. The service is top-notch and will help you figure out exactly what you want to imbibe. My favorite neighborhood spot.

Great experience service a tad slow but enjoyed it very much the taxidermy is A lot lol but we were good with it I just worry about how well they can keep it all dusted. Not that I had anything that showed me I should worry it was all very clean. Great dinner overall.

Outstanding, personalized experience. Our waiter, Herman, was a show-stopper — he recommended a fabulous meal (venison tartare and quail are especially of note). Like many other reviews suggest, you MUST try the corn bread. Shelby was also incredible in ensuring an optimal dining experience. Thank you for the prompt service, delicious dinner, and phenomenal ambiance. We will certainly be back.

We sat at a booth and the seating was very uncomfortable. (No cushioning). Our waitress was very friendly and made good recommendations. My wife and I had the “skillet cornbread “ as an appetizer. It was really, really great! We also split the “16 oz. Prime Ribeye w/grilled onions” with whipped potatoes as the main course and it which was exceptional!!!! Although the music was really loud, it didn’t ruin the experience. We would definitely go back!
