Would highly recommend. Service was good. Our server was also the bar tender so we had to wait for him to return to the table after he mixed some drinks. Food was excellent but even for a restaurant of this caliber, a bit skimpy on the portions. My wife had the salmon the side was artichoke. My wife asked for a few more and this was brought to her. Bill at end of meal was an extra $5. It’s not the money just a bit cheap in this category. Would highly recommend.

This is a great restaurant, but they didn’t check off our name thru Open Table, so the app said we hadn’t dined there. Make sure they check you in properly when you go.

We moved our son from his Freshman year at TCU and stopped in to shop and have a late lunch before our flight back to WA. I was so excited because I had seen this restaurant the last time we were in town. It lived up to every expectation … the food, scene, service, and everything in between was perfection. Will most definitely be back!

Ivan was one of the most gracious servers I’ve ever encountered. He went out of his way to accommodate a birthday girl (75) with dietary issues. She can’t have carbs or sugar, so he brought a little vase of handpicked flowers. She-and our party were truly touched. You are lucky to have Ivan. He glows with kindness and professionalism and did an excellent job. Chopped salad was great.

We sat on the indoor patio and I have never been anywhere this loud. I think the restaurant is very good, but if you go at peak dinner hours, I would sit outside.

I have in the past always been impressed with Bistro 31 , unfortunately my visit this time was disappointing. The portions seem to be smaller and the prices higher, no wonder the place was more than half empty .

Our experience was not good. 1. Our waiter was friendly, but a little frazzled. We had to get the host to remind the waiter that we were waiting for order 2. I ordered my dish without the butter sauce. The waiter specifically requested it. My dish was soaked in butter and the waiter did not correct it. I ended up eating the least soaked item and drained the butter and blotted my food since our waiter was not around. 3. I called ahead to let the host know it was my friends birthday and to please bring a dessert with a candle (which I expected to pay for) so I wouldn’t have to request it in her presence. On the phone, the host said she will let our server know. No birthday dessert or candle was served.

Our experience was excellent and our waiter really did an awesome job. She was knowledgeable, her recommendations were on point and the food was delicious. This was our first time dining at Bistro 31 and based on how well we were treated by the whole staff we are definitely going back.
