   We had a lovely Wednesday luncheon at Bloom & Bee. Our server was attentive and helpful in communicating my dietary restrictions to the kitchen. I enjoyed the roast chicken and my colleagues raved about the avocado toast and fresh berries. The restaurant is so colorful and cheerful. My only complaint is that it was very loud and hard to hear our own table conversation. But we still had a nice time. I will return.

   It was great ! Me and my friends first time and won’t be the last one . We had the most awesomeness server ever , Dorothy going out of her way without fail to every attention to detail! Food was great as well as all the drinks !

   Overall experience at Bloom & Bee was pretty good. The drinks were great, our waiter was very personable, and the ambiance itself is adorable. The cons…two members of our party were told upon entrance that their attire was not up to standard and offered shawls to cover up as “this is a family friendly establishment”. I would not have a problem with this if there weren’t other patrons already seated dressed similarly. The only difference was ethnicity. Take that however you may. I ordered the steak frites with the steak cooked medium. It came out medium well. I didn’t mention this to the waiter as it took quite a while for the food to come out and I didn’t feel like waiting any longer to eat. Lastly when, who I assume was the restaurant manager, was making rounds to see how the experience went; his demeanor with our table was very indifferent almost as if he really didn’t care and was crossing a required duty off his list to complete. Would I go back? Yes, but not in a rush too. There are plenty of other establishments in Houston to visit.

   we dined at Bloom and Bee 3 times last week. Twice for breakfast and once for dinner. The service for breakfast was unacceptable. We had to ask to get waited on after a long wait. Had to ask after a 45 minute wait for a coffee refill. The staff did not acknowledge or approach us they apologized for not getting to us sooner while we waited. The food was satisfactory once we finally got our ordered. I had let the restaurant know we were very frustrated with our past 2 experiences before our 3rd visit for dinner. Service was better in the fact we were attended to quicker. The manager seemed a bit aloof in his demeanor. Food was good. The noise level with both the obnoxious music and the crowd with large groups. Not sure why the room towards the back is not used for these groups.. they tend to demand allot of staff attention. The restaurant appears to be understaffed and some staff that seemed to be on training. The restaurant was very cold, guests in coats…understand the weather was cooler and the front door provides a lot of cold drafts. Disappointment in our experience. We expect more from Post Oak. All is fixable, hopefully you are able to adjust. Thank you.

   Took my daughter there for a fun girl's lunch. The main room is beautifully decorated in pink. Every little detail is well thought out, from the pink velvet barrel chairs to the pink glassware. The food is excellent. The menu has ample to choose from, and the drink selection is also fun.

   Breakfast is only served to guests. I went there thinking I would be able to have brunch (because I did 2 years ago), just to be told since I'm not a guest, we would have to order from the lunch menu. My 3 year old daughter was looking forward to the waffles. We literally came 2 years ago and the breakfast was really good. We ended up having a burger and sushi, which was OK, but not like their breakfast.

    I can’t say I can review the food because no one waited on us after sitting there for 30 minutes. Beautiful restaurant, and was hoping we could eat, but after being walked past for half an hour, with not even water on our table, we got up and left.

    The food was good but not great. The service was friendly but lacking. They sat us down forgot to give us drink menus. The waiter took forever to come so we could request the drink menu. They gave three of us the dinner menu and the fourth person a lunch menu. One of the menus was really dirty. The waiter did offer to change it but we were already ready to order. They were also out of one of the wines I ordered. I was expecting much more from this place.

    The ambiance of the hotel lobby and restaurant was gorgeous..too bad you cannot take pictures in the lobby or restaurant. I ordered the bacon and gruyere flatbread and it was served cold. A companion ordered a crabcake and it was bland. I should really enjoy my food for the price they charge for it. The service was super slow and some people in the party had extra items on their bills that they did not order. Pay attention to your bill

    I didn’t appreciate how guest were allowed to dress. One person was seated in underwear and another in a backless top. It made the restaurant seem dirty and completely changed the vibe. I know prostitution is rampant but it was lunchtime. Bloom & Bee may want to enforce a dress code.

    Beautiful restaurant with great food! The ambiance was great and the drinks tasty. Service was pretty slow and she could have been more detailed oriented; however, I would definitely still go back.

    The only thing missing was the ambiance really. It was super bright in the restaurant. The kind of bright that’s associated with closing time and staff starts the cleaning process. Other than that it was good. The lava sushi roll was excellent!

    My friend and I ate there for Valentine's Day. The food was ok and the service was very nice (bright and cheery). We ate out side, so it was quiet, like we like it. I thought $75 was a bit much for a sushi roll, a chicken salad sandwich, a glass of tea ($5) and a very nice desert.

    The setting of the restaurant leans toward a magnificent experience. Being right off of the hotels main lobby with the shimmering pool as the backdrop, the decor does not disappoint. However, in my humble opinion the wait time was painful. We had a 7:30pm dinner reservation. We got our table at 7:42pm, our appetizers came at 8:30pm, our drinks followed at around 8:45ish. The main course did not arrive until 9:13pm. The portion size and plating were exceptional however even though we were interested in the deserts we weighed in how much longer we would have to wait for it so we opted to leave and try the French pastry store on site. My wife’s filet mignon was good however the lamb that I had was a bit rubbery but was ok at best.

    Food was very good we had the octopus and lamb and ceviche as the appetizer. I was very pleasantly impressed in the presentation and flavoring. Ambiance was busy but not overcrowded for a Saturday date night which was everything we wanted!! Our server was awesome and attentive but also not over the top so we could enjoy our date!

    This place gets a 5000/5 star rating from me. Everything from the vibe, the food, the drinks and the service was A1. I highly reccomend the Island 75 mocktail and the Paloma if you like tequila! Also, ever single piece of decor, from the back of the chairs to the ceiling was thought out. It is beautiful inside! We let them know in advance that we’d be having a Houston baby moon for my sister since she can’t travel due to having a high-risk pregnancy and to be honest, I maybe expected a small cake or a “congrats!” from the server, but they went above and beyond to make it a special brunch for her. I cannot stress how amazing this experience was — it was the highlight of our day. Best stafff ever! I’ll definitely be back.

    Appreciate being seated outside and having the heaters turned on for us, as well as being provided a shawl. Our server was great in making recommendations. The pancakes were fantastic!

    Everything was excellent! Hostess seating us, our waiter Jordan, the ambiance, and lastly the quality of the Food was amazingly very fresh and delicious - grilled octopus, crab cake, chicken soup and salmon .- all cooked perfectly! Can’t thank this place enough for being on point as it was my cousin birthday 🎂 and it had her in tears.👍❤️
