Food quality, service and interior of the restaurant it self do not match the price! 20% service fee included in the bill!!
I've been to BlueAcre a handful of times with friends and family. The fish dishes are outstanding and the service is really great. We had a situation where we felt as if our Cod dish wasn't living up to our expectations and our server was very helpful in getting that dish replaced. The server also asked for feedback for the chef! They're definitely a restaurant if you to have a business meeting in or take your family to nice a dinner.
We had oysters, mussels, cod, halibut and salmon at the table. The cod, halibut and oysters were outstanding. The mussels and salmon were good. We tried cheesecake, brownie and rhubarb tart for dessert. The tart was very good, the brownie was good, the cheesecake was ok. It’s a nice restaurant.
The restaurant special for the restaurant week was lacking in flavor.
The black cod fish was great. Our waiter, Dove, was a true professionL friendly service, amazing seafood. We were dressed casually, but this is a business casual to cocktail attire establishment.
Very crowded & pretty noisy.
Service was great.
My food was very good.
We love this restaurant!! We live in Colorado and have many good restaurants, but Blueacre Seafood is absolutely great for fish. Wonderful service too.
We dine here frequently, the food and service are usually excellent. This visit our service was below par, we were never asked about a drink order or dessert and no explanations or suggestions were given by our waitperson. The food was fine but not the usual five star experience. we will be back with hopes for the very best again.
Was disappointed with the food and service , will not go there again.
i just didnt love it. Cocktails were much more expensive than necessary, my tempura shrimp reminded me of popcorn shrimp, and my arcitc char was overcooked.
I didn’t care for it, we went for Restaurant Week
First time at Blueacre Seafood. The first impression was not welcoming. The host was very non-chalant, not a positive customer experience when walking in the door.
The waitstaff however were much more friendly and attentive.
Food was good but not excellent, primarily the dessert was not what I expected.
Overall good but not sure I’d return given the initial impression.
The best oysters in town. Service was perfect- timely and knowledgeable. Enjoyed cocktails, wine and 3 course meals. Loved the beet salad.
Server was awesome
Way overpriced. Service was prompt but indifferent (built-in tip has a lot do do with it). This place would be out of business inside a month if it was competing in Vancouver BC. Would never go again
Incredible seafood - Mussels, Halibut, and Dungeness Crab. Great drinks. Solid, attentive service. Quiet but active ambiance.
First time dining here. We really enjoyed it. The fish and chips is special—best I’ve had. My wife had first of the season Halibut which was superb. Excellent wine choices and friendly service. Good value as well. It is somewhat noisy, but conversation was possible. If you like seafood, check it out.
Overall, we enjoyed the dining experience. Only Negative was the King Crab was over cooked, and at $90 for the portion seemed a little excessive. It was almost impossible to crack the shells they were so rubbery. Great wine list! Delicious Oysters.
Seattle seafood! Got 4.5 stars! And could take a table of 6 with no trouble at the last minute. But what a disappointment. My cooked oyster app was so over salted it hurt my mouth. It sits in a bed of rock salt- not sure why the kitchen would think I’d want those big chunks of salt also in my food. Local rockfish fish and chips was horribly and sadly over cooked. I couldn’t even eat the fries. One guest had mussels in a lemongrass broth that she thought was superb. Another guest had halibut she also said was superb. Service was cheerful but rough-people, stop leaning across guests to serve another guest! - and not around enough. Loud and looked like it was full of tourists and business groups. The decor is dated and unattractive. And expensive. One glass of wine, app and main was $75.
We had a great dinner! Save room for the ice cream!
Such a great experience at Blueacre as always! We went with a group of 9 before going to a show and we all loved it. Fresh and tasty oysters, halibut, seared ahi and a seafood salad were some of the the dishes we ordered. Also, with 4 kids in tow, we thoroughly appreciate that they have a kids menu (all the kids chose fish & chips and gave them a thumbs up). Service was above and beyond as well.
Wonderful menu items!! Everything was delicious!!!
This place continually features excellent seafood and I consider it the best of all the places I go for seafood. This includes the Penn Cove mussels I had recently. However, the quality of attention from wait staff is not as consistent. Possibly it's due to the fact that 20% automatically is added to the check so one cannot tacitly express an opinion via the tipping process. That said, I will continue patronizing them and bringing out-of-town friends whenever I want to be assured of an excellent meal.
Let me start by saying that by the end of the meal, we were starting to manufacture reasons to come back to Seattle so we could eat here again. Fantastic food for a variety of palates, we loved the black cod, the lobster, and the halibut. We weren't as enamored of the fish and chips but it was a fantastic and simple dish that was just as advertised; given the rest of the menu, we thought it would be more Top Chef and less best-darned-fish-and-chips-in-town.
Desserts and appetizers were equally delicious. We joked about wanting to make a tapas dinner of the appetizers. Descriptions are accurate and clear and the flavors are perfect.
Service was prompt, professional, and had the balance of just enough hovering to be attentive without feeling overbearing. We came pre-theatre since it's close to Paramount, and the restaurant was fairly empty but filled quickly. It was a solid 90 minute dinner but could have been compressed somewhat with a conversation.
A 20% fee is added to the bill in lieu of a tip, although a tip could still be added. From what I remember, 30% went to tip the folks in the kitchen and 70% went to tip the waitstaff. Prices are high enough to cover the increased salary. While not an inexpensive meal, the quality, ambiance, and service are superb.
Out of town guess. We were surprised with the full house. Our waitress seemed rushed.
Good raw bar, Over cooked salmon, cold bread pudding,
Great mussels in green curry sauce. Everything thing else just "ok", poor value for money. Nice environment though.
Overall, the experience was not so great! Found out that gratuity of 20% Is automatically included when you get your bill. That choice should be left up to the customer, especially if the service is slow and unattentive. Food was OK, but certainly not the best I’ve had for the prices on the menu. There are much better places to go for this type of food.
Overpriced. Added on a 20% service charge for a party of 2. Would not recommend or return
Absolutely flawless spinach and bacon roasted oysters!
The semi-private area for a group of 8 people was perfect. The seat arrangement allowed everyone to equally participate in the discussions. The food and service was superb.
We showed up an hour and a half before our reservation and sat in the bar for happy hour. The service was good and the drinks were great tasting and a great value! Dinner was great and our server was fabulous!
Delicious food and our out of town guest loved the experience!
Wait staff is excellent. Four of us had lunch there on Tuesday. Gumbo was tasty and spiced just right. Easy to have a conversation without yelling. A fine place.
I thought that the quality had slipped just a smidge since last time I was there. Bread was now a charge, and I thought that the topping on the scallops was unecessarily bitter. They didn't have the Draper Farms chicken which is so delicious. So . . . maybe just a bit of a dip. Still some of the best seafood in town. And, as an attorney, I love the cocktail menu names! So creative!
Made reservations at 8:30 pm. Got there around 8:25 pm. Restaurant was pretty empty which my girlfriend and I expected for a Sunday Night. However it took the host almost 10 mins to greet us. The host stand was empty and I asked the bar and oyster chef multiple times to see if we could get seated. Overall the experience was tarnish from there and we ended up leaving because everything was taking to long.
We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday. The four of us started off with some creative cocktails and crab tater tots which were to die for! All of us ordered seafood and they were excellent. The service was perfect and we had a really great time.
Not as good as the reviews more like bar food , was not totally bad just not what the reviews led me to believe . Service was ok. I expected cleaner, more refined and a better seafood menu.
Our server was amazing. He made excellent food recommendations, was very attentive and timely. My only one , small criticism is the salmon tasted slightly fishy. Overall an excellent experience and we will return!
