Food and service were very good. Noise and masks made it hard to hear our server. Not sure what can be done about that. We are repeat customers and will definitely eat here again.
You can't beat the very good service, excellent seafood and the low prices. We have been dining at Bluestone for decades and it is consistently the place to go for a good dinner.
They honored reservation on time. Had great restaurant week options at good prices. Server was very attentive.
A lovely birthday dinner. Hannah was excellent and made our visit worthwhile.
The food was not good this time around. I went there for lunch, not knowing it was restaurant week. The menu was very limited and they wouldn’t allow you to order from the regular menu. The cream of crab soup which is usually amazing lacked crab meat and was thicker than usual. I order fish (catfish) and chips and the portion was the size of an appetizer and not an entree. Definitely a wasted trip coming from out of state.
After initial contact, service was extremely slow; food was good, though, even in this economy, rather over-priced.
The cauliflower app was mushy but other than that food was very good. I ordered a sidecar-I was clearly new to this drink and said I knew nothing about what type of cognac. The drink was delicious but when I saw that it had cost $18 I was taken aback. I think I should have been warned about that. I have had two others at two different places and neither was more than $14. Other than that, all was good as usual.
Service and food is always consistent! Always a great meal.
Our server was distracted, forgetful, made a few inappropriate remarks, and never acknowledged that we were there to celebrate our anniversary. Never even asked if we wanted dessert.
Excellent ambiance and food. Bluestone never disappoints.
I have been coming to this restaurant for a long time and I have never had a bad meal here yet. The food is delish and the atmosphere is great. All the people you deal in your experience at dining are professional and accommodating. I definitely would put them as one of my favorite local restaurants.
Asked for a quiet table and was placed next to a large party. Not very satisfactory! Everything else was fine
Excellent food, as always. Tuna Two ways, and Scallops. Generous servings. Also Nicolle was very helpful, pleasant and attentive. BUT…very noisy, and the prices were much higher than those shown on the on-line menu. All that said, it’s still a favorite spot and I’ll be back.
staff was very pleasant and helpful. food was very good. waiter was attentive and accommodating.
Dinner was excellent! Bluestone is one of the few consistent restaurants in the Baltimore area.
Always dependable, with great food and plenty of choices on the menu.
Very crowded & busy. Noisy, but we were able to get a booth, which allowed to talk.
Bluestone is always good and consistent. They have a nice variety on the menu and execute well. They also seem to appreciate your business.
Someone had a small child that screamed the entire night. Very unpleasant
Good food- service okay not great. Never came to check on us until end.
Everything was perfect except for our slightly dirty martinis, which were so salty we could not drink them. Our waitress returned them and brought back much better ones.
Wonderful family reunion!
Food was excellent as always ! Server was terrific and always love how the manager comes to each table to check on how things are going…And he jumped in to help a very busy server since it was restaurant week ! Epitome of teamwork !
We wanted to try someplace new and found out it was Restaurant Week. The place was vibrant and happening, several parties going on this Saturday afternoon that we visited. The menu had lots of great selections and we enjoyed every one of our dishes from the house salad and cream of crab soup appetizers to the fish and chips, Crisfield stew and curry chicken sandwich. The crab soup had plenty of crab and the bacon in the salad was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my Crisfield stew and my dining partners enjoyed their entrees equally well. We will definitely return and look forward to trying more items from the menu.
Normally I rate the food as Excellent, but this time my wife's salmon was a bit overcooked and dry. My filet was excellent as always as was everything else. Great restaurant as usual.
Always consistent, always fresh. Always a good value.
Our 1st time here after the medical appointment at John’s Hopkins. Good was outstanding with wonderful presentation.
Friendly professional staff. Service Manager visited our tanld to inquire on our experience.
Will return when back on this area.
The food was good and the server was polite. My wife and I had our wedding and reception at Bluestone in 2019. This is our second time back since the covid shutdown. Both times, we have noticed the service has been much slower. It was 10 to 15 minutes before we saw our server after being seated. Why didn't the hostest take a drink order?
Food was great, small hiccups with service. Our entrees came out with our salad plates still on the table. Then we were left literally holding the salad plates. The runner bringing the entrees did not even attempt to take them from our hands. 1/2 the table had the plates removed, half didn’t. The hostesses did not look happy to be there & there was no happy greeting. I love Bluestone and just think some additional training for those young runners & hostesses are needed. Our waitress Lexi was helpful and attentive. She noted our special occasion upon arrival. My seating request was observed. Overall a very nice dinner.
Prix fix pricing was fair. Dinner was good. Cream of crab soup unremarkable, tuna two ways HUGE, salmon good. Not a gourmet experience but good solid choices.
Service was good. Our waiter was interested and informative.
Great dining experience. Good food, good portion size and the staff was very attentive to our needs.
We had the three course meals, filet mignon and Chesapeake rockfish as the entrees. These we so good! First course was Maryland crab soup and Bluestone salad. Both were tasty and great. Dessert was key lime pie and hot brownie was the icing on the wonderful cake. The service was excellent too! We have eaten here several times before and will continue to come back!
Great place to bring your family and friends for dinner. Food it’s okay it was warm not hot and the steak has a good flavor but the meat was not tender. Server was friendly and helpful. This place it’s huge and the decor was nice.
To begin, great bar selection. Seated promptly and offered drinks quickly. Looking at the menu, there were too many great choices. The one thing that brought us there was the Crab Cake. One of the best that we've had in the Baltimore area. Had the surf and turf and I have not one negative thing to say. We will make this a regular spot when we travel to Maryland. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Everything from appetizers to desert was delicious!! Have also used their banquet room for my husband's fishing club for the past 6 years. Service is always great, which keeps us coming back each year.
Very good food and good wait staff. Busy restaurant so do make reservations.
We will return soon.
Everything was excellent. Especially love the plentiful and delicious candied bacon in the large chicken salad. Our server, Nicole was truly the best. Friendly, efficient, professional and always checking back. Definitely the best server we've had.
I have been going to Bluestone for many years. I have always enjoyed my lmeals
Consistently good, for any course. If you want to hear your table mates, ask for porch seating; otherwise, too noisy for me.
Birthday dinner and Sunday 3 course special!
We had a fancy dinner night with the kids last weekend. Our server was very kind and patient, and we had a terrific night! Great food, decent prices, nice atmosphere.
