Wow - what an incredible experience at the Bombay Club! I met a friend for dinner and to catch up after not seeing each other for a year. The setting in this restaurant is divine - low light, live piano music, and the decor make it feel very intimate and special. The service was exquisite, with lots of attention to detail. The drinks and food was excellent - the flavors and textures in the seafood thali were amazing! I also highly recommend the crispy kale appetizer!! Thank you for a beautiful evening!

I was very disappointed … The waiter rushed us … kept coming over and didn’t give us a chance to even choose our food. I was served ice cold red wine! Complained about ice cold red wine, was brought a glass with the normal temperature and then the waiter turned around and gave my friend a cold glass of red wine. Who does that?!! Isn’t this a high end staple DC restaurant - and the food was ok. Definitely prefer other Indian restaurants around town … Won’t be coming back ..

Simply an amazing experience. Everything was perfect. Service was prompt and extremely courteous. I was seated as soon as I arrived. I had an appetizer of Shrimp Amritsari and the Adraki Lamb Chops for the entree. Both were prepared in a way I had not previously experienced and were fantastic. I asked the server to pair a glass of wine for me and it too was wonderful. I anticipate returning to try other dishes.

We have always loved the Bombay experience, a very high-class atmosphere, and great food and service. Ashok runs a first class operation. The food last night was exceptional and the service was impeccable. We have recently moved away from the DC region, and on our return early this week the Bombay Club was my wife’s first choice for dinner. As in the past we were not disappointed.

Always a pleasure, returned after at least ten years and it's still good. Love the menu which has regional and chef's specialties, not the usual standard Indian menu. Everything exquisitely flavored, complex tastes unfold on your tongue. Lovely service. Nice to have a carpet to absorb some of the sound for a change, too.

The food was above average by the standards of Indian food in DC. However the service was unimpressive. We had a 8:30 pm reservation and the food came at 9:55 pm and we were told we had to immediately decide if we wanted anything more as the kitchen closes at 10 pm. While we were sitting outside, the staff already started removing tablecloth and folding chairs around us creating quite a rushed and chaotic ambience.

Had dinner with our toddlers last night. Excellent ambiance and excellent food. We destroyed the lamb shank and a chicken dish and half the starter and naan menu. Probably not a place most people take toddlers based on the overall vibe but we always take our kids out to dine and they loved the food too! We will definitely be back with and without kids. If you do take kids they don’t have high chairs or boosters FYI.

Wonderful atmosphere, outstanding cuisine, and very good service. Since we started coming here in 1987 (the year that Ashok Bajaj gave birth to his DC restaurant empire), The Bombay Club has always been a reliable, top-notch venue for both business and special occasion dining. I have consistently recommended this restaurant to out of town visitors and local friends over the past 35 years, and all have been delighted. Ashok Bajaj has the highest of standards which are all reflected in his restaurants. The Bombay Club continues to be a special place!

As always, Bombay Club is a great restaurant. I didn't go for 2 years ( March 20 to Feb 22). Since March 22, this was my fourth lunch. one thing I notice is that the serving size is now less than it used to be pre-pandemic. One entrée used to good for 2 people but now its not. the service and hostess is great.

Bombay club is our favorite restaurant for Easter Sunday Brunch. After two years away, we couldn't wait for their Sunday Easter Brunch re-opening. Bombay Club did not disappoint.
