We had a dinner reservation last evening. We were promptly seated. It was typical of a NYC eating establishment in that the tables were very close together and it was somewhat noisy. No problem with that. Server was prompt in taking drink orders. We placed an appetizer and our main order at the same time and the appetizer was received in about ten minutes. However, it took about twenty minutes to receive the main courses, which were Carbonara and Lasagna. The Carbonara was of acceptable quality and taste. On the other hand, my wife's Lasagna was stone cold. It took quite some time to flag down the server. All my wife wanted was for the dish to be rewarmed, however, the server insisted that it be completely remade, which took another twenty minutes. I ate my meal slowly to try to wait for the Lasagna to come out, but it got to the point if I had waited longer Imy food would have been cold when she received her hot food. The Manager came by in the mean time, apologized and said, "We are only human and we all make mistakes." I found that comment to be condescending. During the wait, nobody came by to see if I wanted another drink. Once we finished our meals, my wife asked for a piece of cheesecake to take back to our hotel. That took thirty minutes. This is not the experience we were hoping for and mediocre food and an over one hundred dollar tab was not worth the money spent.

A trip to the city to enjoy Christmas traditions. We went to Bond 45 for lunch. Victor was fun and attentive, knowledgeable and respectful of our time. Excellent experience. Oh, and the food was great! When teenagers comment positively, you know the restaurant hit it out of the park.

Went for brunch-service was terrible and food was average. “Classic buttermilk” pancakes were like tasteless cornbread. Chicken and waffles was two chicken tenders on top of a sweet dessert like Belgian waffle. Atmosphere is loud and busy.

Love dinner here. Lasagna is *chef’s kiss. Brunch, not so much. There was a wait for a table but we had a reservation. Host seemed irritated but sat us. And that’s what we did. Sat. 15 minutes later the host came back to take our order. Was promptly asked for some water and tea, and ordered food as well. After a moderate wait, food arrived. Fontina popovers were cold AND burnt - almost inedible. Bella Benedict was cold as well. Clearly sat for a bit before delivery. So food was definitely “eh”. If served warm and not burnt would have absolutely been delish. Note: they advertise outside and inside “American Breakfast Buffet”. Inside same thing, but states “Italian style”. This refers only to the Antipasto buffet. I hate buffets so wasn’t planning on it but some tables near us seemed to be confused. Brunch at your own risk. Dinner - this place is a MUST.

I have recommended this restaurant many times , never again . We ordered a drink , the waiter asked for our appetizer and entrees at the same time . Both came before our drinks , didn’t see our waiter at all . Had to ask the manager for our drinks . Food was cold , broccoli rabe was liked chopped spinach , steak was raw . Italian wedding soup used for be my favorite , it was broth a few veggies and a 1/2 of meatball. Desserts were excellent . We won’t be back and I am sad about that . Spoke to the manager he did comp our desserts .

It was my birthday. It took forever for waiters to come serve my table. They wandered away and often disappeared for what felt like forever. I ordered Dover Sole, and it was overdone. Waaay overdone and part of one fillet was inedible, tinged with something bitter. We did have some nice artichokes and greens, a friend had a good little pizza and the portions of everyone’s meals were generous. But if you’re expecting a great culinary experience, maybe this ain’t the place. Convivial though. On another occasion I would have ordered a burger and been happy.

Super slow service. Food was cold. Drinks wrong. Rotating artwork on TV depicts the NRA (National Rifle Association) as a terrorist organization. Artwork has person wearing NRA shirt next to a person wearing ISIS shirt on their knees worship an AR15 above in the clouds as a god figure. I guess the owner of this place thinks law abiding gun owners who believe in self defense are ISIS terrorists. Never seen anything like this in a business establishment. Avoid this garbage tourist trap at all costs.

Came to the city for the Thanksgiving holiday and decided to reserve a table at Bond 45 after many great reviews. The restaurant was a short walk from our hotel in Times Square and the atmosphere was very laid back. We requested a quiet romantic corner and they were able to grant our request within minutes of our arrival. Our server Peter was the best, speaks both English and Spanish and he carried on with us as if we knew each other for ever. Lots of folks come here to catch a show before dinner, so the service is really fast. If you want some extra time to basque in the ambiance, just let them know that you’re not watching a show and for them to take their time. This is a great place with great food. I had the chicken pepperoni parmigiana with a side of spaghetti with pomodoro and my wife had the black truffle mushroom ravioli. Please let Peter know that I will be back next year. Thank you for the great service!!!!!

Bond 45 turned out to be a great Theater District choice for us. While I read some mixed Reviews, our experience was extremely positive from start to finish. The captain immediately assigned us a table when we checked in and Emanuel (Waiter) arrived at our table almost immediately to check our timing (we had an hour as we were going to Hamilton-across the Street). Emanuel gets top marks for service as he recommended getting our order in as soon as possible while he took our drink order (nice selection of beer, wine and mixed drinks). Since my girlfriend is vegan and gluten free, we appreciated the various options offered by Bond 45 (gluten free pasta and Veggie antipasto Bar). We started with their House Salad which was great and my girlfriend had the Veggie Antipasto Bar (3 Veggie Dishes) and I had Rigatoni with Short Rib Meatballs. Food was served promptly and dishes were well prepared. Since it was also my girlfriend's Birthday, they noted that and brought out our Dessert order with a sparkler and Birthday Chorus from the Wait Staff. All in all a perfect pre Theater experience.
