   The restaurant is very dark. The server couldn’t get a Soda to our table for 15-20 minutes. Her response was, I put the order in.” It’s a NA drink. It should only take 5 minutes at the most. Neither the bar nor restaurant were at capacity. On one of the hottest days of the year there was no ice in my water all night. Service was pathetic. I hope the server saw my $10 tip as a wake up call.

   Me and the family took my sister here for her birthday. We had the dinner menu.The staff was great and the food was amazing👌🏿 Can we talk about that seafood Mac and then Thai wings 😋

   I went for Sunday brunch. Had I not went inside, I would have been upset by the long wait but I could tell they were extremely busy. We had to wait for glasses to drink our mimosas. But the vibe inside/outside made the wait seem shorter. I would definitely go back.

   We enjoyed our meal selection. Service was prompt. I had fried chicken platter. The chicken was cooked just right. Sides were good too.

   While the food was flavorful, what was on the menu verse what we received was 2 different things. #1-ordered the catfish and received tilapia. #2 ordered the seafood pasta that’s suppose to be prepared with angel hair pasta per the server and the dish came out with thin spaghetti. When I asked to speak to the manager the server sent over another server named tiffany. Tiffany just listened and never asked us how can she fix the issue. My thought is that tiffany is NOT a manager and if she is the owners need to rethink this because she isn’t representing the restaurant in its best light. Prior to receiving our food there was a gentleman (bald head) that came around to inquire and my assumption is that he’s the actual manager however when I asked to speak to him, the waitress suddenly disappeared. After waiting for a few minutes we just decided to leave the establishment. If Bookers expects to have a lasting relationship with the city of brotherly love they really need to reconsider the people that are putting in management positions and the cooking staff should know the difference between the items on the menu and how to prepared them. Lastly, this huge disconnect between the servers, cooks and what’s on the menu verse what’s received really needs to be addressed.

    The service was amazing. We were seated right away. We ordered and received our order about 10 minutes later. The food was very good. My eggs were overcooked, but I didn’t specify how I wanted them (I just said scrambled with cheese). Lively place for brunch or casual date. The kitchen closes at 2:30pm then reopens for dinner. I definitely recommend reservations. It was packed.

    Mango mimosas were excellent! My meal (cheesecake French toast) was good nothing spectacular but good, the person I was with enjoyed their chicken, shrimp and waffles. I would definitely return and try something else on the brunch menu.

    The restaurant has a policy of automatically adding a 20% tip to bills over $100. This was not clearly stated and I wound up adding a 20% tip to a bill that already included a tip. Annoying.

    This was our second visit to this restaurant, the staff is friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. Portions were generous in wine and food, you get a a lot for your money. Everyone was happy with their meal, except the gravy on my short ribs was a little salty and the carrot cake desert I took home was a soggy mess by the time I got home.

    First time there to celebrate my birthday. A lot of our orders took a long time to come out. Had to remind the server we were still waiting for items. We did not like the country fried chicken. Most of my party did not even finish what was on our plates.

    Food was good ! Tables are a little unstable. Someone next to me spilled their drink due to it. Chicken was good but it was tenders. I didn’t realize it would be tenders. I would have preferred wings. Short rib was amazing !!!
