   Good central location, good selection of options to suit different tastes. Food was delicious, very generous portion sizes so elastic waistbands are a must! Only negative comment would be that the food was served on metal trays which had warped in the oven making them very wobbly and noisy to eat from. I would have preferred a simple plate.

   We were very disappointed in the service, we were shown to our seats then nobody came near us, while other groups were being seated all around us and drinks and food orders were being taken and brought to their tables. We had to go to the bar for drinks and then one of our group had to go and find someone to take the order. There was no apologies for missing us out. The food came on a big tray with no plates and one of our group go hot wings but there was no sauce on them and when we asked we were told it was just the batter (not According to the menu) when we asked for the bill the waitress was quite rude! To add on a service charge to the bill is a cheek and probably done because nobody would leave a tip for such terrible service. Really disappointed as we were really looking forward to it!

    Great food I loooove the cheesy chips with bacon! Come every chance I can when I visit Edinburgh as I love the cocktails! Cute menu with the haggis pops and Capaldi burger! Even a deep fried Mars bar! Love the Scottish twists! I will be back!

    Good atmosphere. Went to the Boozy Cow twice, once for just drinks and then one with both. It can get pricey especially with tax and service charge. However the drinks were lovely and the food was decent. I would recommend the "Twister" and "Skittles" cocktails, they were definitely the best of the bunch I tried!

    We had a table booked for a Friday night and when we turned up there seemed to be some confusion about where to seat us although there was spare tables. After finally being seated it did take over ten minutes to order and drink and a while for them to be delivered. The food came promptly and was delicious. Further drinks took a while to arrive. Which did annoy me especially as I saw bar staff go out for a cigarette break whilst we waited. Our plates were cleared after some time and I asked for a dessert to be told the kitchen was closed, it wasn’t even 9pm, which was disappointing, especially to then find service charge was included on the bill. What a shame

    Amazing service even though my friend and I were talking a lot and took some time to order. Food and cocktails were very nice! I did prefer the sides to the burgers as my friend and I halved our burgers to try and they weren't so great but the sides were amazing. For having burgers, sides and 4 cocktails and 2 rum it was reasonably priced I would have said.

    The food was incredible, made even better by the incredible waitress, who quite simply couldn’t do enough for us. She explained that they were short staffed and that the food may take a little longer than usual, but it was worth it! Whilst our server was great, hence the 5* review, the other staff left a little to be desired, perhaps the bar had been set too high!

    Restaurant was fairly empty but had to wait around 20-25 minutes to order. Food came fairly fast which was good. Disappointed the burgers didnt come with chips on the side. Asked for the bill and this took 15-20 minutes to come. It was also my partner’s birthday. It was also another tables birthday and this gentleman received a candle in his burger and was sung happy birthday. I was disappointed that my partner did not receive the same treatment. Overall food tasted really good, not the best value for money. The staff were friendly however service was poor.

    Food nothing special, Nacho's cheese had no flavour, philly cheese steak average and the Boozy Wagyu well over priced, definitely not worth the 10% service charge

    Our server (with the stunning red and green Christmas nails) was fantastic. Great banter and always making sure we were ok. I took one star off because the drinks orders seemed to take a while to come to the table.

    Visited boozy cow a year ago and thought this was one of my favourite places to eat, was super excited to go back. However has gone down hill since. Disappointed to see the food menu changed. Burger was very average. Service was slow and only one guy who was running the gaf looked to care. Also felt like we were forgotten about due to where we sat. We were celebrating a birthday which we put on the reasons for visiting reservations and then a couple opposite who were also celebrating a birthday got a free shot ? Which we didn’t. We were not too fussed about the shot but made us feel ignored compared to other customers.
