    Food was outstanding, service was very good they even bought us free potato which were amazing! we had a table inside and asked to be moved to a table outside but unfortunately didn’t happen.

    A great place by the harbour where the staff are so attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I love discovering different wines on the menu here and the set menu takes the decision making out of a catch up and the plates keep on coming without feeling over full.

    We had a great lunch at Born. The team looked after us really well, especially my sister-in-law who had an allergy. The food was great and we all had a wonderful day. Thanks for making my birthday celebration with my family special.

    The food and the location is amazing. We shared a bunch of tapas plates and really enjoyed them. The staff were friendly but very busy, so it was tough at times to get their attention. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

    Used to be one of the tastiest, best and most reliable restaurants in Sydney. It might still be if you have a group of less than 8 and you can order a la carte. The banquet menu is very average in quality, tastiness and excitement and quantity, and very low value for the price. It felt more like catering at a conference rather than an evening restaurant dining experience. Look elsewhere for larger groups and fingers crossed the a la carte dining experience is still top quality.

    Another great meal here I have seriously lost count how many times I have been a Tapavino venue over the years, always excellent. The staff were as lovely as ever and we all enjoyed the banquet we had for friends birthday it was delicious.

    The food was amazing!!!! And I love the location. The service was good too. The reaon I have given it 4 stars instead of 5 is that they charged us 2 service charges, which I was very surprised by and have never seen before. There was a 10% surcharge for having a group of 8, which is in tiny print on the website, but I had not seen it. There was also a credit card surcharge. I would have thought the 10% group surcharge would be enough to cover that. The waitress pointed out that the group surcharge is on the menu, but crazily it's only on the a la carte menu, which you are not given if you're a group of 8. You only see the set menu, which does not mention this surcharge. More transparency would be good.

    The service was great but we were expecting more traditional Spanish food. Like more seafood and wider range of traditional Spanish tapas. I feel you are appealing to a wider clientele which is fine but there are plenty of restaurants that offer the usual steak and broccolini and salmon dish. Overall the food was nice and the service was great.

    Entrée dishes are delicious and highly recommend. Main dishes are not as good as I expected. When the beef short ribs dish arrived the waiter didn’t tell us what it is when we asked him he said “I don’t know it’s something you can eat” … I don’t know if it was him joking about it or what. Later on another guy came and asked how was it we asked him.

    Phenomenal service, slightly above average food. Plates were larger than expected for tapas, so we ended up with too much food, and prob a larger than necessary bill. But it was easily a worthwhile experience. Would go back and order lighter.

    Great meal and value! We ordered 2-4 plates to satisfy for 2 people. Favourite dish was the warm cow's milk cheese and truffle honeycomb. The only downside is that the restaurant is too generous with bread portions, and we felt it was a waste as we could see many diners also left excess bread.

    As a regular at Born I am always impressed by the level of service. Staff very polite, engaging and service standards are very high. Roddy behind the bar and Daniella looked after our table made the long lunch highly enjoyable. Food great - but hope they bring back the grilled garlic prawns soon!

    Excellent restaurant. We had the $95 per head menu and the food was exceptional. Some of the best Spanish food I have ever had. The wait staff were friendly and very attentive throughout the evening. Will definitely be back.

    A long time favourite, but my first visit for a year, and it reminded me why I have always enjoyed it. Great food for a casual evening - and an endless wine list. I am putting it right back at the top of my choice for a memorable meal location

    The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and gave great service, answering any questions we had. The food arrived relatively quickly and was delicious. The waiter did try and push us to the set menus which were very expensive however we decided to go with individual choices. The food is quite expensive however comparable to other restaurants in this tourist precinct. I imagine that their rent isn't cheap in this location which contributes to the cost. On the whole it was a really enjoyable evening meal with friends who were visiting from Interstate. Would come again.
