Bostonian Seafood & Grill - The Langham, Hong Kong
There's only one manager and two waitresses serving the whole restaurant. We have to wait a long while to place order. No one cares to clean the table after we've finished the main course.
Would you add boiled new potatoes as side dish ?
Would you add more items?
quality-to-value food in a quiet atmosphere.
definitely an enjoyable evening.
The semi buffet appetizer for lunch has greatly reduced quantity and quality.
Good service with good food and environment but cake cutting fee is a bit expensive.
Good location close to shopping center. Overall the food is ok.
The food and price are amusing and it is worth to try again.
I called to check the details before making a reservation. The lady who I spoke to on the phone confirmed there's no limitation on any food item but turned out each guest can have 3 pieces of oysters only. I was also disappointed with the variety at the seafood bar. In the ad we saw a variety of sashimi and snail muscles but turned out salmon and smoked salmon are the only option.
Floor staff are also very inexperienced, not attentive at all which I am surprised this is the level of service a 5-star hotel offer.
Overall, my friend and I had a good time. Though very limited choices, still a quality of food and great ambience.
I was very pleasantly with the great food and service. We are a family of four and even though the restaurant has quite a dark atmosphere/theme, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for other families. It is a bit expensive but considering the quality of the food, it is still within reason.
Excellent good service, with extra help for the guest on wheelchair. Much appreciated
Food choice is limited and the amount is too less. Oyster is not unlimited offered in buffet lunch. Soup should be provided in the lunch buffet. The day I went need to leave the buffet at 2:30 due to event in afternoon which made us rush to go and not enjoy our lunch so much .
The break is very good.
The services is not very profession
this was our first time in the bostonian and we went there to celebrate my husband's birthday. we were very impressed with the place an the service was amazing! a rare fiind in HK.
This is our first time to experience the dinner at Bostonian, however, it is so noisy which we never expect and there is no Restaurant Manager to advise the customers whose speaking louder at the venue....this is the first time and should be last time stop by and we will not recommend our friends to there for dining!
Although food are not my expected level
But I’m still will recommend to my friends
Services are horrible, those two maids are suck, never listen to right orders, Ibthink they need more training on how to serve guest. There are two gentlemen serve the others tables as well but they seem only taking care those guest are having wine.
For my opinion, not up to 5 star hotel dining standards, hope can improve. Will try later for sure to check it out
Fabulous restaurant with an excellent menu and ambiance. Had Lunch mushroom soup “SUPERB” and the BEST crab cake EVER. Will definitely return for Dinner and this will become a staple of restaurants when in Hong Kong.
The Bostonian is one of the best places to dine in Hong Kong, in fact it maybe one of the best restaurants that as a family we have dined at - ever! The customer service and the food quality that you will receive is exceptional! Dee provided superior customer service to my family of 3 - two adults and one child (age 9). When we were discussing the menu - she actually said - I want to make you happy and she meant it! Do not miss this chance to dine at the Bostonian, take it!
Environmet is absolutely good, pleasant, quiet (especially come across the padded duty free shop nearby). Lunch set and food are really value for money on weekday, good for business lunch, causal dining with friends and family. Nice services and helpful staff. Recommend 👍🏻
Very interested and forthcoming service
Excellent wines and sommelier
Food very fresh and delicious
Second visit in four days
Really enjoyed the food
It's not that we don't like Asian cooking, but after four nights in Hong Kong, we were after a little American comfort food. The Bostonian delivered nicely. The food was very good and the service excellent. The restaurant was only about half full (maybe less than half) the weekday night we were there, so it was pretty quiet--and that's a good thing. The restaurant is in the basement--for lack of a better description--of the Langham, which is a lovely hotel. The decor is pretty much what you would expect of an American fish house, although the framed art is just a little bizarre. But that's a small thing, far outweighed by the food and service. If you're looking for a touch of America in HK, the Bostonian does nicely.
Very good seafood and good location. Services is hotel standard.
