Exceptional food and service.
Great food and service. Many thanks for the special birthday treatment!
Great service. Fabulous food. Wonderful atmosphere.
Amazing as always!!!
We were there for a special lunch. The lunch menu was a bit skimpy in selections, so, at our server's suggestion, we ordered some main items from the dinner menu. Although a bit pricey for the quality, the food was nevertheless delicious, the wine superb, and the Manhattan cocktails excellent. We had a great time!
Outstanding service. Meals ordered were delicious and well explained on the menu and by the waitress and brought to the table both promptly and at proper temperature. Ambiance is excellent as the restaurant has a 180 degree view of the city business district and a portion includes the bay crossed over by the 140 foot overhead lit Oakland Bay bridge. It is a well maintained ~1920’s architecture with tasteful recent architectural features. We have dined here 22 years and have always had excellent service, meals, and ambiance.
Service was outstanding- food excellent- great overall experience
Great ambiance. Wonderful service. Food was perfect and delicious as always.
Perfect for a birthday celebration.
Great place to be on a rainy day.
Hervorragendes Essen, gute Weine, super Service - das hat alles gepasst. Nicht billig, aber durchaus angemenssen
Fabulous dinner. Food was exceptional. Flavors were incredible. Can’t wait to return!
Good place and a charming location but the food was not the most execellent
Always a wonderful experience. The tagliatelle with truffle was out of this world. The crab salad to die for.
Excellent wine list, server was very kind and helpful, the scallops were delicious, the pork was as well, the desserts had a personalized happy birthday chocolate. Also has a great view of the bay briddgs
They kill it every time I Go!!!!
Great wine list and always a great menu.
This place is definitely the best American cuisine that I ever had!! Food, atmosphere, staffs, everything are awsome! Strongly recommend!
Boulevard is an excellent restaurant, fine dining, great food, all you could want in a great meal. We started with the lobster in a cream sauce appetizer. It was delicious! Then we had the quail appetizer, which was alright, tasty, nice. Then the beat salad that is one of the most artistic presentations I've ever seen. The Berkshire pork chop is just super delicious, but that's what you expect from Borkshire pork. And the halibut looked very good. Even the bread and butter are delicious and of course, the drinks are superb! I would definitely go back for more. It's a fun, vibrant, packed restaurant.
Great service, and excellent food! Well worth the price point.
This is a beautiful restaurant and we were in town for business, We made a reservation for the evening. The
server seen uninterested in serving us. there is a difference between serving and wanting to serve us. As for the food it was a wonderful presentation but the food was not hot which was disappointing. There are a lot of restaurants in San Fran we will try others.
Not only was the food exceptional, the service by Gina was above and beyond done with professionalism and perfectionism. What was a simple friends’ dinner became a very special dinner indeed.
Totally awesome. An all time favorite to come back to again and again.
While visiting San Francisco we chose Boulevard based on a friend’s recommendation. We love to travel and enjoy fine dining wherever we go. The quality of the food and presentation were wonderful. The pairings were delicious and we highly recommend it! Although Boulevard does not have a Michelin star anymore, we thought they fully deserve it. They are Michelin worthy for sure!
Corkage Fee a bit excessive.
Still one of the best! Great for a business dinner or just a special occasion with your spouse or partner. “Foody” without being over the top - and it’s really scrumptious! Great service and a nice environment. Worth the price.
Boulevard never disappoints. Had octopus and calamari for starter and swordfish for my main entree. Our server was super nice!
I love Boulevard because of its excellence, ambiance and service. I escape to its elegance and simplicity whenever I can. It's wonderful for a get together and pleasant when you're on your own, as well.
Nancy Oakes’ lovely French inspired Boulevard Restaurant continues to be one of the best places to dine in San Francisco. The staff is always attentive and professional. The food is reliably excellent, fresh, innovative, and the highest quality ingredients. Lunch is affordable luxury at this high end eatery where the social swells, politicians, and business movers and shakers converge to have both quiet conversation and see and be seen.
As always Boulevard is our spot for celebrations, we had a wonderful dinner. Culinary Team accommodate all my courses according with my Vegan Lifestyle.
Curtis our server was amazing!
Excellent experience. Some of the best food I’ve eaten. Menu is both innovative and accommodating at the same time. Our server was experienced and pleasant. Also strong in the drinks department. Great desert. First class!
Boulevard remains a star in the San Francisco restaurant scene, with delicious cocktails, balanced and exquisitely prepared dishes. Wines are very expensive-- it might be better to pay the corkage and bring your own. More than a dozen times we have dined here and it never disappoints.
I have lived and dined in San Francisco since 1980. Boulevard has been operating at an incredibly high standard of quality ever since they opened. They never disappoint. The cuisine is outstanding in presentation and taste. Service is friendly and impeccable and our server for my 75th birthday lunch at Boulevard was Leah and she is a credit to Boulevard. Boulevard remains our first choice for special occasions.
Our once-a-year splurge, lunch at Boulevard. We've been doing this for years, and it's always an adventure. We both had appetizers, mains, and dessert, and non-alcoholic drinks. My main, scallops on a bed of black rice paella, was extraordinary. A really special place!
Warm and welcoming reception despite top notch reputation. Martini hefty. My swordfish cooked to perfection. Sourdough delicious though butter a tad salty.
Our server was wonderful, never pushy or obtrusive, smiled a lot.
She remembered that I mentioned it was our anniversary.
We felt we were back in Paris, where we visited last October. Same brasserie ambience, but more spacious, more privacy.
This was my first visit to Boulevard. I went as a birthday date nite with my boyfriend. We wanted to sit at the counter to watch the cooking process and see the activity behind the bar. We had an outstanding evening, the food was spectacular, the chefs were so hard working and had impeccable command of the whole process. Definitely want to go back! My boyfriend used to go about 15 years ago and he said it hasn't lost its charm and touch.
I have been to this restaurant a dozen times or more, but tonight we hit a new low. Ordered 2 appetizers (scallops and crab ravioli)- both were very good. I ordered the pork chop, first one was over cooked (bone dry) so I sent it back. Second one was raw and inedible. My son had the lamb which was very good. Waitress removed the cost of the pork chop from the bill. Spoke with Peter the manager who seemed indifferent to this terrible dinner and the fact that I left the restaurant still hungry. Very disappointing and I’m not sure I’ll return after this debacle.
We are from NE and whenever in San Francisco go to Boulevard. The service and food is always excellent.
Combined with a great wine list, you cannot go wrong.
The food was superb!
Keep doing your outstanding service and quality of food.
