   I have always enjoyed the cod. The sides changed from Newfoundland screech to charred cabbage with some sort of broth. Just not as good.

   We had a very disappointing time. We reserved a booth a month in advance for my fiance's birthday. When we got there, elegantly dressed, our group was escorted to a table right at the entrance. When asked if we could be moved to any of the open booths towards the back for privacy like we had asked for at reservation, we were told No because it was out of the seating rotation. After being seated, we got to witness several groups of walk ins being walked to the back booth areas and seated in more secluded tables. We had read the menu from the restaurant website the week before and had picked out what we had wanted, only to find out that the menu had been changed a while back and not updated online. The food was okay, but didn't seem worth the high prices and some dishes were incredibly salty leading to that being all you could taste. The waiter started removing the appetizer plates part way through the course, leaving most of us sharing appetizers from fork to fork. With our table being right at the main entrance, what we had hoped to be a intimate and enjoyable, high end dining experience was interrupted by a steady stream of other patrons entering and leaving as well as staff moving back and forth from the kitchen and bar areas, leaving very little chances for actual interaction and conversation. Overall, it really set a wrong tone for what we had hoped to be a nice celebration and vacation. As things stand, I would not go back at all since not one part of the entire experience was really satisfactory. If you are looking for a great place to celebrate and dine, you might have better luck going to a chain restaurant.

   i called before i got there to get parking and they told me to park at the ice parking lot in P2, i did and when i got in they told me they will validate my tags, 2hrs later i got in my car with a $89.25 parking ticket, i went back and they asking me to email the manager, wow.... they will have to pay as i will not pay for it, but the food is good tho and srv is good too..

   Took my best friend out for her birthday at lunch. Excellent service from beginning to end. The hostess Geta was charming and even checked to make sure we were having a great time. Our server Natalie was excellent. They have a new craft cocktail list out. The Transporto Tonico was delicious and refreshing. Best burger I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the truffle fries upgrade. The manager Erin was very helpful. I needed to sneak purchase a gift card for my friend and she handled that discreetly. Black Forest cake was out of this world! I’d give this experience 3 thumbs up if I shad more hands!

    Service was fantastic. Prompt and friendly. Food was not. Both of our steaks were closure to medium than to the rare we ordered, not even really close. The brocolini was alos very, very liverally salted. In the end it was simply unpleasant, and for 56 bucks a steak? No thanks. Its really a shame as the atmosphere and location is quite nice.

    My Boyfriend and I had an impromptu Date night on Thursday May 12 2022, Deborah was our server. From the time we arrived throughout the entire evening the service was fantastic. We asked about a wine pairing for our Chateaubriand and her selection was absolutely phenomenal. The meal was expertly prepared and we had a wonderful evening. We will be back.     I had the cod and it was very good but my husband had the chicken breast that was not good . The chicken was a little dry . It took over an hour to receive our dinner and the restaurant was very loud.

    I have dined at this restaurant over 20 times and this was certainly not my favorite experience. We made reservations a week in advance and were placed in seating almost outside the restaurant around a corner. There was a freezing code draft coming from behind us and I didn't bring a jacket to the indoor restaurant. The table we w sat at was two small tables pushed together and one was higher than the other and not level. It hardly felt like an upscale experience.

    My family and I were very excited to try Braven as we had heard many fantastic reviews from friends and family. Unfortunately, our experience was not we hoped for. We started with a $200 seafood platter which had 6-8 shrimp, 8 oysters a couple pieces of crab and two dips. We have dined in some very high end restaurants in Vancouver where we have received 3x the seafood for half the price. The server tried serving our meal prior to clearing the dishes from our appetizer. The very small table for four was full of plates and dishes so I insisted they clear our table before serving our main course. Then we waited for cutlery. Main courses were small portions of mediocre food, none of the party were even close to being wowed, we settled on a 'ok' meal. Too bad, we won't be back. I am quite sure Braven management would not be impressed with either the service or food quality we received.

    The ambience and the atmosphere is good but the food is really sub-par especially considering the price. Honestly, very underwhelming. Would not recommend. Go to Cactus Club for a lower price or Rge Rd for some higher end dining. Tzin is also a way better option.

    We went for a birthday dinner & the food was wonderful!! Our server Susan went above and beyond all night to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable . The manager Sarah also reached out and was very accommodating and lovely . We will definitely be back! Couldn’t recommend more for a special night out .

    Food was prepared nicely and tasted good. A little pricey though especially the appetizers. Service needed abit of work. Wrong bottle of wine was brought out to us but we kept it anyway. Servers didn’t know who ordered what when plates were served. The chocolate sundae for dessert was awesome. Background music was abit too loud to visit with your guests. It could have been a great dining experience but fell short.

    Braven is our must-do go-to in Edmonton. The yellowfin tuna (rare - don’t do anything else) is the best tuna steak I’ve had anywhere, and I eat tuna wherever I travel. Staff are great, professional, and know their stuff. Ambience is fantastic.
