   Ribeye steak cooked to absolute perfection and the chocolate fondant with salted caramel ice cream was one of the best desserts I've had in recent memory. Got a lovely complimentary cocktail to celebrate mothers day as well.

   We had a really great lunch for Mother's day. My wife was given a complimentary strawberry spritz, the menu variety is really good and the food and drinks delicious. Our waitress was really friendly and helpful. A perfect lunch out!

   Brunch - left after 30 minutes after asking for order to be taken twice and both waiters promised to do so but never reappeared. Apparently they were having a “systems problem” and both tables beside us were complaining too. Staff harassed and unhelpful.

   We booked for my birthday, the staff were friendly and helpful. The table wasn’t ready when we arrived but we were given a seat at the bar while we waited and we ordered some drinks, both cocktails were well made and delicious. We were then taken to our table and given plenty of time to look through the menu. We ordered the bread basket, pork belly, butter chicken, sticky toffee pudding and chocolate fondant. As you would expect all the dishes were expertly cooked and generous portions as well. The brown bottle and apple sauce that came with the pork belly could be bottled and sold separately it was that good. The only thing that could have been better was if Gordon himself served us!

   Absolutely fabulous, it was my 50th birthday and a special day made even better by great food and brilliant service that was attentive but not overbearing. The special birthday treat at the end of the meal was truly lovely.

    Busy Saturday night because of the rugby match but there were lots of staff who well trained and polite. I made a mistake with the time of my booking but the lady at the door was very understanding and sorted it for me. So many places are short of staff these days that is a pleasure to find wait staff who are efficient and knowledgeable about the food. Warm and friendly was a bonus. The venue itself is lively and noisy with a relaxed atmosphere. Menu is a bit limited but well thought out and the food is delicious especially the haggis balls. Seems on the pricey side but we were visiting Scotland so it may be the norm for Edinburgh and we didn’t stint. We had a lovely night out and would definitely return to this restaurant given a chance. I would recommend booking in advance because it seems very popular.

    The food was excellent, our waitress Morgan was very helpful with my allergies and catering to my requests and she was friendly and attentive throughout. We spent an enjoyable and relaxed evening with friends.

    Extremely over rated, service was very poor, definitely not worth value for money. Menus is nothing exciting more like pub grub. Extremely disappointing considering it’s a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. Standards & menu should be equivalent to Gaucho or Fazenda in Edinburgh.

    My wife and I enjoyed a two course meal and drinks. We had the fish and chips for the mains then I had ice cream and sorbet whilst my wife had the sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

    We had the beef Wellington experience. The service was amazing however they sat us right next to the kitchen and it was loud and hot! My own fault for not saying anything. The beef is very pink so not for everyone. We had a lovely meal!

    The food and service was absolutely lovely. It is a bit pricey for us to be regular customers but as a wee treat, definitely worth it. The staff serving go out of their way to make the whole experience so worth it.

    Our meal at Bread Street Kitchen was just amazing. No words can describe how great everything is here. Our server Morgan was very attentive to us despite the restaurant being very busy. Overall would definitely recommend.

    We had the beef wellington experience. Each corse was more delicious than the last. The beef wellington was to die for. Friendly service. Left a suitable time between courses to be enjoyable. Will definitely be back. Although it is quite pricy so would have to save first.

    Special treat for hubby’s birthday. Lovely restaurant , friendly relaxed atmosphere with a touch of class . Food was great . You can go as pricey or reasonable depending on choice . Great experience!

    Unfortunately we were left disappointed with our first experience. Service was very slow and table service staff not very accommodating. We were not offered condiments and our red wine was served in a wine cooler! We both had fish and chips which was nothing exciting compared to other places but a lot more expensive. We had to ask for spare wine glasses to be removed from our small table.

    As much as I wanted this to be great experience, it lived up to its mixed reviews. The food was just okay - not up to the standards of the chef behind the restaurant. We had fish, beef and pork - all were fine but no more than that. The restaurant has a good ambiance and the service was quite friendly and good. The food just doesn’t cut it.

    Arrived on time and was told at time of booking, the table was for 2 hours. Staff were very attentive on arrival, we ordered starters, mains and wine, and at this point could not fault anything. After 1hr 20 still hadn’t received the mains. Chased it up as we had another booking to attend and was rallied around by about 5 staff members, which was good, however 2 mains, Sunday roasts, arrived cold and we returned and did not have the time to get replacements, although this was offered. Don’t get me wrong, the staff did all they could to fix the situation, removed many things from the bill, which we were not expecting as we were still going to pay in full, however, this does not remove the disappointment as we had such high hopes and it was a huge let down for us. Even more so as Gordon makes many tv shows that highlight these issues and it’s happening in his own restaurants, I think he would be disappointed too. Couldn’t fault the starters, the wine, or how the staff tried to rectify, but it should never have happened. This was a birthday meal which had been planned for a long time and we were all just so disappointed. It was never about the money, if it was we wouldn’t have booked, it was about the experience, which for us, was not the best.

    The restaurant is beautiful, a well mix of industrial & homey. The restrooms could use a good complete scrub down, period. Food Luke warm and there were only 4 other tables in for breakfast. Staff was friendly. No need to visit again.
