   We went to Breakers for a fun night out. It was fun to cook the food at our table. We got the AYCE and it was way more than we could eat! Next time I’ll just get al la cart and get only what I want!

   Waiter ~Jimmy~ rushed us the minute we got in giving absolutely NO time to even order a drink or look at the menu. When I complained he said he was new and apologized. But throughout the meal he never let up his pace so I am certain those were management's instructions. The Galbi and the brisket were flavorless, and the brisket, especially was cooked to a crisp. And don't even get me started on the banchan side dishes. He brought ONE little dish of Kimchi, they had run out of cucumbers and there was this dish of little pieces of BROCCOLI - seriously??? The only thing decent was the noodle salad. The ~mandu~ or dumplings were deep fried to a crisp and probably purchased at H-Mart. Waiters were actually RUNNING back and forth between tables, our entire party felt rushed, as if we were at the races, and the constant "are you done, are you done" didn't help either. I will not go to this place again - ever. And by the way, I am Korean!

   I made a reservation through Open Table weeks prior to dining. I received many confirmations up to the very day of our visit. However, when we arrived, they claimed they didn't have a reservation under my name. I showed them my many receipts to prove that I HAD made a reservation, and they finally brought us to a table. Many servers passed by our table but none stopped, and we kept trying to get anyone's attention, but to no avail. We waited at the table for 25 (!!!) minutes before my husband finally got up and asked when someone was going to acknowledge our presence. It's like they forgot about us completely. They didn't even bring us water, we had to ask for it after waiting all that time. When they finally took our order, the food came pretty quickly and was good. But we had been waiting for so long, we had to rush through eating in order to make our movie. We had great service during our last visit, but this time was a disaster. We had out-of-town guests excited to experience KBBQ, and felt terrible that the service was so lacking.

   First time my aunt in law tried Korean barbeque and she really enjoyed the experience! We had the all you can eat which was delicious and more than enough for 4 people. We can’t wait to go back!

   Our server was great and the food tasted amazing! Price was a little much considering the add ons was beef ribs and shrimp but they put a cap on the amount you could get with that option! All and all I had a good experience! Will return but will go with standard option next time!

    The very first thing I noticed was the lack of cleanliness. The dust build up on the glass cases that divide the seating was concerning. There are power outlets at the table that were covered in grease and other things. So when they start bringing out raw meat, surrounded by dirt - I was suspicious. The food was mediocre at best. I know there are better Korean BBQ place around this area but my 15 year old wanted to celebrate here. We won’t be back - that’s for sure.

    My family and I wanted to try out this place, as we noticed it when we ate at Texas de Brazil on Christmas Eve. We were sorely disappointed. The service was absolutely awful. The brisket tasted like steak-um’s (no joke), and the sauces were not at all up to par compared to other local Korean bbq restaurants. The cheaper of the two all you can eat options was $39.99. Ridiculous price for what you actually get. It took forever to get our side dishes and all the meat came in very small portions. We have been to many local restaurants like this, but this one was by far the worst. I do not recommend dining here at all.

    If you do the all you can eat package it was 39.95 per person, prices increasing for bigger parties. Luckily I was just on a date so I got a great amount of food for 90 bucks. Once you start the all you can eat, they put you lower on a priority list, so when you order, order in bulk for the best value, after you order the food takes a bit to get out so it might be good to keep a timer and use the "call" button if you are waiting more than 25 minutes. After the food gets out grilling takes a few minutes but the servers check up with you fairly frequently, and might assist you in grilling your meet, you can also ask for tips they are knowledgeable about the meat that gets cooked and what not(the call button helps you get refills and stuff faster). The food itself is extremely good, and DEFINITELY try the garlic pork belly. The staple bulgogi there is good as well, it was overall a really fun and enjoyable experience so long as you are watching your time you can get MUCH more meat value than what you pay for and leave very satisfied, remember to try to eat all the side dishes even if you don't finish the meat 👌

    Great time. Service was excellent. Food was good. First time at this location and it was nice. Smaller menu than our previous experience dining at the other fairfax location, but still a great selection.

    loved our experience. Went out with friends for my birthday and at first we decided to go to Meat Project in Centreville but their wait time was an hour plus. Every other place had a wait time of 45 or more. Looked into breakers and I was able to get a table for 7 that was available in 15 minutes. Even tho we got their a little bit late they were able to give us our own private room and my friends and I had a great time. Our server was a GOAT, great personality, and was very attentive.

    I wish the grill was not too burnt after a few minutes grilling. Using oil before adding the meat should help.

    I called to make a reservation for 11am and the lady confirmed. But when I arrived at 11am, it’s not opened. I saw the sign at their front door that it opens at 11:30am, I was like “why didn’t the lady who spoke to me on the phone mentioned to me?” Not happy about that. The side dishes like the pink radishes and kimchi were tasteless, the rice was a bit undercooked.

    We traveled more than 40 miles to dine here. Small portions coupled with slow service is a recipe for disaster. We did not even know our server name. She did not introduce herself and was not attentive to our needs in a timely fashion. We were a table of four and the portion was more like for one person. Unfortunately, my family had to leave the restaurant hungry and disappointed. We will dine somewhere else.

    Brought my parents and my family to Breakers Korean BBQ. My mother is on a wheel chair and my kid has a large stroller. We have a ton of gear on us and so they found us the best table that fits us (and our baggage) best. Our server, Emily, was real good to my toddler and my elderly parents. My kid was given a kid-friendly plate which not a lot of restaurants have. The food was great. We picked the unlimited meats menu. We were able to try all flavors and menu items. I enjoyed the spicy pork and steamed egg. We went during a week day so it was relatively quiet as there were not a lot of people dining at that time.

    Selection of meats was decent at best, sauce selection wasn’t great, appetizers lacking bit. Service was good, ambience was ok. Bathroom was out of service, had to go across to Teaxas De Brazil for bathroom.

    We selected the OYCE for $39.99 per person. The price per person was high, the meat selection has no taste whatsoever - even the marinated meat. The pan-fried dumpling was pre-made and cold when it arrived at our table. The shrimp was pre-cook, which was a big disappointment. The salad and side dishes were a lot better tasting than the meats. Breakers, you will need to revamp your menu and make it taste better to warrant the $39.99 per person fee. Unless this is changed, I will not be back, nor will I refer anyone to your place.

    It was reasonable busy for a Sunday night while still room for walk-ins, so this is a good time to come and have a dinner with friends without having to shout to be heard. With the economy we were guessing, the AYCE has been reduced from three differently priced options to the middle of the road value package and we were happy with the choices and overall value. The raw meat portions are smaller but we have the attitude that it means having more variety without waste. And it's still AYCE so it's all good in the end. Our server started off ok. He asked us if we had been before and not assuming that since we're obviously Asian heritage that we're also Korean which we are. We assured that we were fine with cooking our own food. With our first round of meat we quickly realized he had the temp way too high. Wanting to save on energy costs with a quick cooking heat is one thing, but we had a challenge in keeping the meat from burning, especially as many Korean marinades have some form of sugar which can be scorched if the heat is too high. At this restaurant with their system of indoor grills, the heat needs to be medium to have it high enough to cook with full flavor caramelization but not so high that it burns. It also allows for more rounds of meat cooking before having to switch the burner plates, thus saving on water and human elbow grease resources. We know how to order Korean BBQ & in which order to cook the different meats so each round is enhanced by the prior w/o having to switch the charred plate, so long as the temp is right. All throughout the meal it was a tug of war w/him jacking up the heat (after we said we were fine & know what to do) & us waiting for him to walk away before we could lower it & save our dinner. The management would be well served in assessing their training & attitude towards the grill temp. There's no way this server could have helped other tables w/o burning the inventory if a table wanted more attentive grill service.
