   Friends and colleagues had told us about Bridgette Bar, and finally we made it for a nice meal, and we're glad we did. Service was superb: careful but not overbearing, and it was great to see so many servers busily taking care of things throughout the restaurant. We had 'bread and butter' and olives for opening snacks, followed by ricotta dumplings and beef steak - most enjoyable and attractively presented. We happily recommend Bridgette Bar, and we will be back soon.

   Food was incredible!! The drinks were okay, but a bit on the small side for the price. Also, they got rid of the Cake Boy Old Fashioned, which is so disappointing!

   Lovely date night! We tried the YYC Food Experience and then added a couple starters. The standouts were the tuna crudo and elk carpaccio. Unfortunately the scallop and “shrimp” risotto was a miss. Service was fantastic!

    Best happy hour if you get there early enough. Half priced all liquor! Food is also excellent as is the service. Love the ambience of this place. Truly a beautiful building.

    Went for YYC food and drink around 1:30 p.m. Food was amazing and cocktail was yummy! Service provided by the server was a big disappointment leaving us feel like we were an inconvenience at best as we watched the server visit with other tables for periods of time while we waited long stretches to be noticed. We were never asked how the food or cocktails tasted. Would recommend for the food, drinks, atmosphere.

    We sent for the YYC Food Experience and I am used to the smaller portions. The elk carpaccio was really nice. The rest of the meal was incredibly disappointing. The Bavette (flank) steak was average. The shrimp and scallops risotto was below par. The 3 scallops were cooked nicely, but there were only a few tiny shrimp. I understand food and business costs have risen dramatically, but frankly, they should have just left out the shrimp. The risotto was gummy, not creamy. The maple sugar tart was basically store quality. Just a slightly sugary, grainy filling. The crust was so hard and tough, I couldn't crack it by literally hitting it with my spoon. I ate the filling as I wanted some sort of dessert but left the crust. The service was great. I did not mention the poor quality of the food to the server and have chosen to post a review instead. My friends have been before and said the regular menu was fine. Based on this meal I would not recommend this place or return.

    Really, really good food. Had the prix fixe with steak (more rare than my liking), charred kale salad (wanted to lick the plate to enjoy all the dressing) as well as the grilled chicken (accompanying fries absolutely stole the show), beet salad (really tasty), burrata (zucchini relish was nice but a bit bland) and the honey tart (phenomenal). Service was very good, ambiance was lively, loud (but not overwhelming) and fun. Overall a very good place to go for a date night. Would recommend and woud (will?) Most certainly go back.

    My favourite place to go, whether it’s business meetings, out with friends, a date, social evenings with my kids. As always, the food is consistent and outstanding. Any new additions to the menu are typically wonderful. Flavours are out together to delight the palate, and the most important thing: they accommodate all allergies and food preferences easily. The service is always fabulous and attentive. I can’t recommend Brigette Bar enough.

    We’ve been to Bridgette Bar in the past and loved it. We went recently for the YYC Food & Drink Exp and the prix fix meal was awful. I got the risotto and couldn’t even finish it. The rice was undercooked, tasted of charcoal and smelled like fish. The seafood was drastically over cooked. My spouse got the polenta & steak which was overwhelmingly salty. Very disappointing meal!!!! Not worth it at all.
