At Bunker, we want to share the homestyle Vietnamese street food on which our family was raised. We believe in only sourcing the best ingredients that hold true to our core values in food. This means food grown and prepared with love, using vegetables and heritage meats from local farms, the finest quality condiments, and no MSG shortcuts. Here, we’re a big family. We hope that you can also feel at home, while enjoying the food, art, and music that fill our street-to-table restaurant. We recently relocated to a larger home in Bushwick. I left my credit card and they called me immediately to let me know :) The only reason it isn't 5 stars all around is that it is bit on the pricier end for what is a very casual/cool/chill place. I get it though and happy to help local restaurants out!

We got here around 7:15p and were seated relatively quickly. The staff here is really nice. Our waiter, Alex, was very accommodating with my drink requests (I was very particular haha). The only con was that service was a bit slow. Aside from that food tasted fresh. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Super chill vibe.

It was super annoying and very loud! Also, chicken on the skin for chicken curry was a bit unappetizing. I'd recommend having only chicken for the curry, no skin.

I know the pandemic has changed things, but if I'm paying $22 for a bowl of pho, it better be so good I can't put my spoon down. I remember a more extensive menu at Bunker, now it seems reduced and a lot of the same flavors in different forms. Vibe is very Brooklyn, but the price is outrageous for a mediocre bowl of pho.

We had the vegan papaya salad, the vegetarian vietnamese pancake, the mushroom banh mi, and the vegan noodle soup. Our favorite plate was the vegan papaya salda, and my fiancee loved her vietnamese iced coffee. The staff is incredible friendly.

Their outdoor seating is spaced more than 6 feet apart and they have heaters which combine with a bowl of the yummy broth made for a very pleasant experience.

Muscles were great, but sauce was even better with the baguette side. Beef cubes were a bit chewy but super flavorful. Coconut chicken curry was to die for. Service was atrocious. We were ambushed by so many different staff throughout the meal. It was overbearing. Too many exchanges of plates, awkward checkups, and miscommunications. I could see it happening with other parties too. Unfortunate that an otherwise phenomenal meal was tainted by extremely subpar service.

We asked to many questions but she was so helpful. The food was delicious and the whole staff was so helpful. I loved the vibe. The drinks were fun and funky.                                                                                                                     What a great find. After seeing them on a TV show we decided to try them for my daughter's birthday. We were NOT disappointed. Each of our four dishes was better than the other. Recommended were the pork chops, and the chicken clay pot. The tofu was delicious as well. You will not be disappointed.

                                                                                                                    Special visit, post- show with family and friends. Bunker was great - interesting food that is fun to share, comfortable seating, vibrant noise level but easy to have a conversation, attentive service throughout the evening.
