The staff and manager made us feel welcome straight away, the decor looked amazing. Asked a question about a starter and ended having them which were delicious, the burgers were the best burgers we've ever had, definitely coming back again when we visit Edinburgh

We went to eat and drink at the weekend there, my friend has Tourette’s and generally would ask for a piece at anyones door, the staff were more than accommodating and the food was brilliant, cocktails were delicious and got u drunk 10/10 all round

Because it was so busy with people who wanted to eat and they only let people in, it was not possible to eat at ease and we had to sit down at the bar after dinner to drink any drinks.

We came here with our family while visiting Edinburgh. It reminded us of burger places in America. We had a service dog with us and they were so friendly and accommodating the whole time, and even gave us water for our dog! I would definitely recommend this place and will be back next time I’m in town!

The tables were so close together it was very uncomfortable, there was a party of 16 right behind us and our table was so squashed there was no room to move our chairs , were totally squashed it was so hot there was no air and the window kept closing on its own !! . The food was fine but the atmosphere on the night and poor ventilation totally spoilt this evening . Service was friendly .

Hostess was very rude. Our first table we were seated at was broken (completely unusable broken) so we asked a waiter if we could move to a nearby table, he said yes and that he would inform the hostess - a couple of minutes later she came over to us extremely annoyed we had moved, we told her the situation and she rolled her eyes and told us we couldn’t sit here. She offered us another table beside where we were, not really sure the difference but sure, so we moved. This table was also broken and when we pointed it out to her she said that we’d be able to eat off this one. Promptly left after all of this so can’t comment on the food, but terrible service and a terrible first impression.

This is a great stop if you want casual dining. Dan was our server and he gave great service and was friendly and talked us through the menu. Food was great and is good value based on the portion size which is generous to say the least. Good atmosphere although perhaps a little cramped with not much space at all between tables but for us that didn't affect our overall experience.

Had reservation for 17.30 but had issues with public transport so called restaurant and they were happy to put back our time to 18.00hrs. Ordered Halloumi Fries and Haggis Fritters to share,i had a beef burger and partner had rib eye steak.Waited a little while on order and everything came at same time.Well worth the wait though. Received bill and was charged £42 for bottle of Prosecco,according to website it should only have been £28.Mentioned this to waiter and he adjusted the bill accordingly. Will definately be back as food was great and service was excellent.

Exceeded our expectations for a touristy burger place. Staff were lovely. Place a bit noisy but a good vibe even on Saturday night. Real mix of ages. Food was actually delicious but was a little pricey with fries separate at a fiver. Regardless, we will certainly go back. So, worth a go if you like burgers and beer...

Really cool place, great atmosphere. Chicken wings were amazing, fries and sides amazing, burgers were nice but dry not juicy at all and not as fresh brioche rolls as described. Drinks were good. Maybe take the gratitude charge off the chip and pin as you already add 10% on the bill. Great visit though. Open table you need to update the menu online as it’s different.
