   I love the view and the concept. I would add wine by bottle during happy hours and some dishes besides the flatbreads which are very good. The concept of Menu that they have it before was very good. I recommend this ace

   Located north of the hustle and bustle of Old Town. Aircraft departing DCA to the South so a little noisy but didn’t bother me. Seating provided great view of the city, the Potomac and Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Staff was very welcoming and were very appreciative that we chose Cafe 44. Portion size was good, I had the Ahi Salad and my wife enjoyed the he Sea Bass (she thought it was a little too big but I helped finish the dish. Overall, nice ambiance and good food!

   Morgan provided great service, food was prepared to our satisfaction. Pricing is reasonable. We were seated in the covered balcony with great views of the Potomac river.

    I recently visited for brunch and it was great. The service was great, everyone was friendly. Decor is cute. The food was delicious. I had the same experience when I’ve visited for dinner in the past. You get the Instagram/Tik Tok aesthetic, except the food, drinks, and service are actually good. Highly recommend.

    A place for locals & beautiful views of the Potomac. However, noise levels from airplanes, inattentive service, and over priced and over cooked food made for a poor experience. Would not return nor recommend.

    Our first sinner at Cafe 44. Great meal! Delicious food, sea bass, deviled eggs, short rib, shrimp and grits, delicious craft cocktails and yummy key lime pie and brownie! A beautiful night on the river for dinner. They were very busy and service, just a tad slow. We will be back!

    We sat on the balcony - there was enough roof to keep rain off of us, but not so enclosed that we felt worried about covid. Nice view of the river. Friendly staff and excellent food - I had the crab and lobster ravioli, and it was creamy and delicious.

    Waitstaff went above and beyond for us and our one year old. View is amazing on the terrace, and they were very friendly and helpful throughout. Food was good, but experience overall was better!

    Waterfront view was beautiful! Hostess was friendly and food was delicious! However, our waitress greeted us and then did not return to take our food or drink order for 35 minutes. That was disappointing given the 2 hour time limit.

    Another great night with great friends at this great place! Our server (who had only been there one month!) was a joy--very friendly, attentive but not hovering, got every aspect of the meal spot on. The food was wonderful (a few items were oversalted) and the cocktails were to die for. I know the don't control the weather but dining on the balcony/patio was heavenly--perfect temperature, perfect breeze, gorgeous sunset, the Potomac was delightful to watch as the boats and wildlife gave us a show. Cafe 44 is a winner!

    We started with. No no But the manager saved our evening she did everything to make sure we had an amazing evening. Thank you very much we did waited about 25 for our server to come over and asked for cocktails. She had no clue what she doing. Everyone was helping her she only came to our table 3 times so we didn’t had dessert but will come back !!

    Love Cafe 44. The balcony overlooking the Potomac is the best. Great view. Nice breeze. Shade. Good variety on the menu so that none of my guests has ever been without something delicious to eat. Especially love their charcuterie boards. Perfect for lunch, drinks or dinner w/ friends or someone special.

    We loved Cafe 44. Our waitress was friendly, provided great recommendations, and was very professional. The view was gorgeous. The staff was friendly, and the food and drinks were outstanding. We enjoyed the shrimp and grits, lobster bisque, and deviled eggs.

    First time visiting Cafe 44. Overall it was a good experience with great views over the Potomac. We were a party of 4 and were immediately seated at a reserved table. This is a relatively small restaurant located in an office building which I found unusual but certainly not offputting but rather interesting. The menu selections were diverse. I chose a cajun linguini dish which I enjoyed but it was on the salty side. The rest of the party enjoyed their food as well.

    First time at Cafe 44 and I was super excited since I've heard great things about the food/place. The place itself is super cute however that is where my excitement ended. Our service was lacking. It took a long time to get just a drink and when our orders finally arrived to the table they were incorrect. I ordered the steak omlette which was the fattiest chunks of steak with no a lick of seasoning and uber greasy. If it means anything the the breakfast potatoes were good.

    My husband and I went here for the first time the other day, and were immediately so pleased with the atmosphere. We sat outside on the terrace, and the view was beautiful, but the inside was also super cute! We went for brunch and enjoyed mimosas and coffees which were great. The food was delicious! I got the lobster benedict, and was truly blown away by the value of the food. I was half expecting to get a tiny portion of lobster, like I so often see around the area, but was pleasantly surprised. The service was top notch, our server was very polite, professional, and personable while also giving us time and space to enjoy the experience. Will definitely be back! We loved the fact that the surrounding area is just as nice so we could enjoy a walk afterwards.
