   Amazing food, great waitstaff, wonderful little private outdoor seating area. The only thing was, like many restaurants these days, I was surprised at the price at the end of the night. Eating out is just pricey!

   The food was outstanding! We had Caesar salads as an appetizer, with sea bass, salmon, and soft shell crabs as entrees. The salmon is my staple and never disappoints. The soft shells were just terrific. The Muscadet by the glass and Tito Martini were also top quality. The restaurant is quite attractive and the staff are all very pleasant. It's a remarkable gem. My only disappointment is that it is nearly impossible to get a reservation, even with adequate lead time, for anything but 5:30.

   The cocktails, wine, appetizers, entrees and deserts were all delicious. Highly recommend the Chèvre with figs and Lupe de Mer and Pots de Crème.

   Cafe Colline is my favorite local restaurant. I have been promising for ages to bring my daughter, who lived in France for a year, because I knew she’d love it. “It feels SO French!” she said. Our meal was fantastic from start to finish, and our server was a delight. This place is a gem!

    Disappointed after waiting several weeks for a reservation. The food was good but not so special for the cost. Coke was served in a very small glass. Outdoor seating is nice.

    Great food, nice spot. Service was a bit too attentive - waiter was nice but he interrupted our conversation a million times. We observed their 1 hour and 45 minute table limit but it felt like they were trying to get us out of there after just an hour. Still it’s a great place and I’ll definitely keep going. It’s a minor point for an overall very pleasant evening.

    Service was great. Fries and omelettes where good as were drinks. I asked twice the day before we want if I could add a 5th and they said no, not possible as it would require adding on of their two tops. I got thhere was hardly anyone there for over an hour (there was a street fair, so parking was terrible.. but they must have known that might weigh in to reservations). They should have been more accommodating. Charming, but nothing too special.

    The soup was sublime, but the steak ordered medium rare was rare. After a return to the kitchen, the steak was exactly medium rare and quite good.

    We had a fabulous dinner here to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our server was excellent. Attentive but not hovering. He timed our order so we could relax and enjoy our starter and cocktails. My husband had the duck - superb. I had good old steak frites. The steak was cooked just right and was flavorful and tender. The frites were excellent. We shared the olive oil cake for dessert and it was just right. We will definitely go again.

    Absolutely delicious dinner! The service was attentive and friendly. The Amish Chicken was tender, juicy, and one of the best chicken dishes I've had in a long time. My companion loved the Steak Frites. Also, their rice pudding dessert is incredible. Highly recommend for a nice evening out.

    What an amazing find outside of the DC area but so worth the trip. Excellent food and presentation from the french martini to the pate to the duck. We enjoyed a wonderful meal and fabulous service. Excellent!

    Enjoyed the entire meal though be prepared to pay for the quality. Steak frites was perfectly cooked. The salmon was delicious with the potato crust. Would highly recommend Cafe Colline for special occasions as well as every day meals.

    What a wonderful surprise! Chez Billy Sud came to Arlington and has done it right! Food = amazing! Service = perfect! Ambiance = balanced mix of french bistro with a with the soft elegance of a high end french restaurant, just lovely. We will be back for sure.

    Cafe Colline is an incredible experience! The four of us at our table were blown away by the exquisite preparation. I loved the onion soup, escargot and creme brulee. My friends found the beet salad beyond delicious. My advice...don't wait...just go!!!!

    An evening at Cafe Colline is like a dinner in Paris, complete with Madame la Concierge. If you can make it past the gatekeeper, you will enjoy delightful cocktails, superb service and perfectly prepared cuisine. It does not appear to matter how often you frequent Cafe Colline (and you will want to come weekly, as there are few places like it nearby), Madame la Concierge will still appear to be aggrieved by your arrival and will grumble as she hand you over to her capable staff. Be prepared to humble yourself, the culinary reward is worth it!

    I object to a restaurant automatically including a 20% tip in the bill. Whether to tip and how much is the customer’s prerogative. Our server and the maître de tables never made eye contact with us. This was off-putting. The food was good, but not worth the almost $150 we paid. Skimpy portions, typical of every French bistro and restaurant in the area. We will not be back and will not recommend Café Colline to our friends.

    This place is an Arlington Gem!! Tables a bit close together so it can be loud (and you can hear every word of the conversation at the table(s) next to you) but really good food, great (and reasonable!) wine list and fun place. ALWAYS busy, to book ahead for sure!

    Delicious food at a surprisingly good price point! My sea bass was perfectly cooked. Our waitress was the perfect mix of professional and friendly, with the right amount of checking in, while allowing two friends to catch up.
