Mónica Patiño and Micaela Miguel share a neighborhood lifestyle in a casual and family dining room, with simple, seasonal, direct and unpretentious food.
Remembering her grandmother's meals in Colonia Roma, Mónica Patiño, creates a “Roman” menu where dishes are served in the center of the table to share as we would at home.
It is about sharing and living around a good meal.
At Casa Virginia we are interested in highlighting the importance of the origin of the products and the producers. We want to convey an awareness of what we consume and how we consume it, therefore, we seek to supply ourselves with raw materials from small national suppliers.

      Pedimos la tostada de atún, la cuál estuvo muy sabrosa. A mi me gusta la cerveza Bohemia Clara, pero no había, es algo muy común en los restaurantes de México, no se porque, igual puede ser un buen tip para mejorar. Lo que no estuvo tan espectacular fue el Huachinango a los tres chiles. La guarnición de espárragos muy pobre para mi gusto. Regresaré nuevamente al restaurante y probaré algo distinto la próxima vez.

      Monica keeps surprising the róbalo al limón (bass to the lemon) was absolutely amazing but in a taco with mayonnaise and green salsa became even better, the tart Tatin with roquefort super different if you are into strong flavors. Fish pescadilla and tuna tostada also worth trying. Service started slow but Israel came to the rescue.

      Un ambiente nuevo y agradable. La comida buena, pero cara. Hay un plato que son ravioles, el platillo consta de un raviol !! El pescado muy bien cocinado y de buena calidad.

      This is a great place to visit. As we were a big group, Our diner took place in a nice reserved dinning room. The service was kind, fast and attentive. The food was delicious. We ordered lamb, duck tacos, tuna toast and the three chilies fish. But there were many other dishes that we would have tried. I always return to Casa Virginia.

      Casa Virginia is one of Mexico's best continetal restaurants. If you really want Mexican high cusiine it is not the best bet. Appetizers, Startere and dessert bezst dishes. The staff is fabulous, engaging and very, very efficient.

      Fantastic food - reviews were strong and it lived up to expectations. Beautifully presented and you could taste the quality. Note the short rib was lamb which the menu didn’t say but it was tasty all the same. Would recommend and would return.

      Throughout the entire meal they kept trying to pressure us to order more food and drinks. For example, they didn’t explain that sides weren’t included with entrees and proceeded to ask which sides my friends wanted without being clear that it was extra; when we finished our bottle of wine our waiter immediately said he would bring a second when no one asked him too and had to talk him out of it; we were ordering filtered water all night and then all of a sudden they wanted to start bringing us bottled water, when again no one asked. Unfortunate to feel pressured and attempted to take advantage of, not a place you would expect it.

      Delicious food and lovely ambiance, only comment would be the food service. We had just finished our starter and the main came about 30seconds later and had been sitting around / wasn’t piping hot, we aren’t particularly slow eaters and we’re enjoying the stater but we’re a little taken aback by the speed of the main!

      El lugar es acogedor y el servicio es bueno. Para aquellas personas que prefieran más espacio y mucha ventilación, este lugar no sería la opción. La comida es deliciosa, hay platillos para compartir y otros individuales. Hay que dejar espacio para los postres que son imperdibles. Pasamos una velada muy cómodos y buen atendidos.

      Excelente servicio y ambiente. La comida precio/calidad muy buena. La burrata de entrada y el short rib de plato fuerte son muy buenas opciones. Tienen buenos cocteles y postres. Vale mucho la pena.

      Great food, great space, great service. Very happy with the place. It's very loud in there when it's busy. At first it was hard to hear, but got over that pretty quickly.
