What Insiders Are Saying
A nightclub pretending to be a restaurant, but with an actually decent seafood menu.
Delicious food, servers are okay some very nice some kinda rude kinda seemed like they looked past me because I'm not a celeb
Amazing!!! Oliver was an excellent waiter!!!!
The food, ambiance, and service were all amazing. You will pay a pretty penny but very well worth it!
Our Waiter Brian was just outstanding
I had such an amazing experience at Catch. The view when you first walk in is mesmerizing. The hostess were very quick to greet and welcome us. We were told to wait at the bar and had a few drinks which were outstanding! We were then seating on the terrace on a very comfortable banquette. Our server Enrique was great and he was very knowledgeable on the menu and answered all the questions we had. He made us feel right at home. Everything was perfect. We will definitely be back soon!
Best brunch vibe in LA ...
Great food Great ambience Great service
Food and ambiance is great obviously. They are very strict on not ordering appetizers first, you have to order everything at once. They are also very strict on your time at the table. It has to be under 2 hours and if you stay longer they will boot you.
Amazing ambiance with beautiful decor and people. Food was very tasty and big portions.
Aside from having to wait 25 min with a reservation, experience was disappointing, would not go back
It’s a bit on the pricey side for the orations, but normal for higher end restaurants in town. Love this place!
We had Brian as our waiter and he was amazing. Knowledgeable about everything on the menu, fast and charming. We ordered some great dishes, some of which he recommended. The king crab tempura was my favorite. We did show up 10 mins late but only waited 2 mins at the bar to get seated at our table. I made reservations a week in advance and I wish we could have gotten a reservation for 7:30/8pm but nothing on open table was available. You could tell that this place is even sexier at night. Cool place to take social media pics btw! Have fun in New Orleans Brian!!!!
Catch is so posh! We loved everything about the place. The food. The service, our server Zach was amazing and patient. The ambience is to die for.
Absolutely loved the atmosphere! It was AMAZING! The view, the picture perfect decor and the desert, all conspired to make it the perfect experience! I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town again! I’d highly recommend this place for any looking to enjoy great food and photo ops that will up your social media status.😀
They didn’t find a table. I waited for 1:30 hour. When I was leaving, they find a table. They waste my time. Instead of tell me how long am I going to wait just an estimation ((((((
We waited an hour for our table but the food was delicious.
Had the most amazing service dinner was great
It was incredible, the survive is amazing and the place is breathtaking
Nice to sit outside. The planters and wild flowers as well as views of Hollywood hills and downtown were beautiful. The food was great. Had the whole fish ... nice presentation
I love this place! Tried it for the first time on my birthday and had to definitely come back for the truffle sashimi! Second time around I also tried the crispy shrimp and lobster mac and cheese and both were very delicious.
Waiting soooooo long for table
Everything is overpriced and we didn’t get to our table until 50 minutes after our reservation because our table wasn’t ready.
The only thing that saved this was the really sweet lady that served us. Food is not great, so overpriced, pretentious people, just terrible lol
Amazing great food perfect spot for a date
We had a table booked but were not seated for over an hour. Front desk staff were rude, although our waiter was very polite
It’s a fabulous place to dine or for a celebration!
It was beautiful, great service, and ambiance is to die for!
Although we had a reservation they let us wait more than 40 minutes, that’s a joke, they’r taking way too many reservations, as I saw a lot of people complaining waiting for an hour. Just because celebrities eat there doesn’t give them the right to treat the other customers bad. I’m going there for the food and not to see celebrities. The restaurant looks nice and the waitress was nice as well. The food is good but not outstanding, they basically copied the Matsuhisa/Nobu menu, so I rather go back there.
Also, it is super noisy...
If you want to see celebrities, average food and be treated badly then it is your place... I won’t go back.
Everything was amazing! The drinks, food, environment and our waitress!
Took a while to get here but it was worth the wait. A bit of a scene in the best way possible. Food was great and the service from our server Michael was impeccable. Nice to see this gem has lasted more than the usual 2-year honeymoon period some LA hot spots experience.
Always a great experience at CatchLA - Love the food, atmosphere and the service is very good and professional.
Yummy food, family-sized portions, amazing vibes !
Great out door table, service was outstanding. Food and drinks were something else. I would say that the food did not live up to the look and service. Lobster mash side $19 and served at best Luke warm. Artichoke salad was huge but did not wow us on the taste. I will say the Filet was perfect and the scallops were above average. The chocolate dessert needed a kick. Maybe instead of milk chocolate more dark. I definitely will come back and try again. So understand you have 2 of 3 facets down, just need alittle kick on the food side.
I had a terrible experience at Catch. I originally had an 8:30 reservation but called to make it earlier to 8:00. The person on the phone said no problem so my friends and I arrived on time. The hostess said it would just be a few minutes but a few minutes turned into almost 50 minutes. We were given no sense of when we would actually get seated and the hostesses were all incredibly rude and didn't seem to care that we'd been waiting so long. We were definitely not the only ones who experienced an incredibly long wait on a MONDAY no less. We did get a free salmon dish which was appreciated but overall the food was not worth the incredibly long wait we experienced. Additionally, the only good value was the bottle of wine we got. None of the food was bad but for the price we paid as well as the wait, I was expecting to be blown away and I was not. Our waiter was also so/so - he needed to be flagged down a few times and didn't really do much to improve our experience. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant unless all you care about is being a part of the LA scene or being in the background of an Instagram story of an overly made-up 20-something.
Great place to eat. Make sure u have a reservation or else u will be waiting.
Great atmosphere, kind staff, and incredible food. Lots of awesome vegetarian options available, which you don’t always expect from a seafood-focused restaurant. I’d recommend it to anyone!
Really nice setting and fantastic food!!Definitely recommend Catch for dinner and drinks!!
I took my husband for Fathers Day and he enjoyed it tremendously. The service was excellent. Our server, Remington was outstanding and the floor manager Tim was extremely professional. The food was delicious and the drinks were fantastic. There’s not more than I can say, but EVERYTHING was great.
While the open roof and bar have a great vibe, the food is wildly overpriced and the service was marginal.
Beautiful restaurant, fantastic service, and delicious food
