What Insiders Are Saying
A nightclub pretending to be a restaurant, but with an actually decent seafood menu.
Pretty good food and nice environment. Will definitely come again!
Great service and food
We let John make the menu and it was amazing !!!
It was amazing! The food and service was excellent. I will definitely be coming back.
Deplorable service. We had to wait 30 minutes for a table when we had a reservation. Then they asked us to move to another table one appetizer in. The staff was very rude to us, despite all of this. Food is delicious but definitely overpriced.
Extremely pricy for food that is good but not great! Service is excellent!
they make you wait for your table for ages. but food and vibe are good. service okay but they know they have you.
One of the worst experiences, we reserved a table at 9:15, arrived 9:11, the hosts were basically regina george extremely unwelcoming and rude, they told us our table would be ready in a few minutes. We waited till 9:50 and still no table. We left and as we were leaving the hostess looked at us and just turned her back with no apology. Would not recommend anyone to go, dont waste your money on this restaurant SO NOT WORTH IT
not recommand to go again. too expensive and the value not worth.
Everything was great, but we spent 30m waiting to be seated after our reservation time
Great vibe and always great food!
Getting rid of the short rib tacos was a HUGE mistake. Several different tables complained while I was there
Everything we ordered was delicious. Place was packed for a Monday night, make sure you give yourselves another 15-20mins before you get seated EVEN with a reservation. We sat in the patio thinking it would have a better ambiance, but I think next time I'll ask for a table inside - better lighting and decor, tables didn't seem to be too close to each other and you wouldn't hear all the street noise while dining. Overall an enjoyable experience though.
Catch LA was the best meal we had during our week long visit to the LA area. Loved the ambiance and great service. Everything we tried was delicious. Only compliant is that it was REALLY dark in the restaurant. More than just mood lighting - it was hard to enjoy how beautiful the food looked because it was so dark. Might have just been the corner table we had, but still diminished our experience a little bit.
The food was absolutely delicious. The service left a bit to be desired. Overall, I would definitely return and recommend.
Amazing ambiance, the ceasar salad is EPIC! food was really good. My only complaint is the drinks are overpriced but overall a great place
This place was amazing. The food is delicious and the service is beyond helpful and welcoming. 10/10 will definitely be back. And the carousel is a must have!
Good food great service and even better atmosphere definitely a must if in la
Hosts and servers’ attitude need work. They’re not friendly, welcoming, or put in effort to be attentive towards guests.
Food was okay, nothing great or of great quality considering the high prices.
This is my second time here at Catch LA and I had an amazing time. Everything from the ambiance, the food, the drinks, the staff... I love it all! I am a returning customer and this is my new fave restaurant! If you go for brunch, you have to try the cinnamon roll pancakes! They are so damn good!
They make you wait even if there are plenty of tables available and you have a reservation. We waited 20 mins. They did not make one dish so one person had to wait 10 mins while others had their food. Good ambience and a pretty restaurant.
Post Valentine’s Day celebration
Love the brunch
Had An Amazing Time! 🙌🏻😁❤️
It’s fun place to be with exceptional cocktails
We had reserved Catch for dinner to celebrate my sister’s birthday. The setting is beautiful, and the ambiance is very cool. However, we never even got to dinner because our reservation was pushed back more than an hour. It was at 9:15, but we were still waiting by 10pm. We had to search for other nearby places that were still open for dinner, and we luckily found one, which was actually very good. It was very unfortunate that we had to leave Catch, because I had very high expectations of it, and they sort of ruined my sister’s birthday dinner. I guess we will have to try again some other time.
We waited for an hour and a half after our reservation time to be seated. Absolutely unacceptable.
Waited 50+ minutes for our reservation with little to no apologies for the extra wait time.
We waited over an hour to get seated. This happens every time we dine here. Totally unacceptable.
ver trendy restaurant with a very busy vibe. the staff was polite, but made it obvious that reservations were likely a must (we had a reservation, so were allowed to proceed to the roof and check in again). Waited about 30 min in crowded bar area before table ready. Restaurant was noisy. Server was friendly and helpful. Empty plates whisked away, silverware replaced between courses, drinks and food brought out very quickly. Food quality very high. Hot foods were piping hot, cold were quite chilled. Dessert (the "Hit It" chocolate cake) was unique and fun. It is a place to see and be seen, and was a fun experience.
Besides being extremely expensive while with tiny portions, I would no way recommend anyone going there... you arrive before your reservation time to make sure you will be seated on time, and still have to wait for overall 50 minutes at a bar, where bartenders shamelessly flirt with my biyfriend who is standing there at the bar with me, and that flirting wouldn't stop even after he showed no particular interest in keeping that communication!!! And again, those tiny portions are not worth that price - the bill with tip was around $350 for 2 people.... CRAZY!
Service was amazing. From the hostess to bartender to waitress to manager. Played old school hip hop and food was amazing. Price was just right. Overall great experience.
Took my girlfriend here for her Birthday
Date night/valentines dinner was off the charts! Ambiance was great, food was great... except for the annoying person sitting next to us. Other than that, I will be back!
Ambience was nice, food was ok can't really recomend what i got which was the waffle tower and salmon benedict, either there wasn't enough staff members or they all seem to be in a rush I've had better service at other places.
Ambiance is perfect.. beautiful restaurant . Very suitable for friends meeting and dating!
My boyfriend and I celebrated Valentine’s Day! We have been for dinner but this was our first time coming for brunch and it was amazing!
Took my daughters there for Valentine weekend brunch. We loved it and will go back again!
