Ceron Kitchen is the manifestation of the life long dream of Vicente Ceron. Vicente has had a desire to own a restaurant for as long as he could remember. After years of hard work and success as the owner of construction companies, he is finally realizing his dream. Vicente became friends with Ceron Kitchen Executive Chef Juan Jaquez and their relationship has led them to opening Ceron Kitchen, together. Chef Jaquez has worked in several reputable restaurants throughout the Bay Area as a line cook and head chef. Chef Jaquez presents his take on New American Cuisine at Ceron Kitchen. Chef Jaquez will feature Dinner to begin and will later introduce Brunch and Lunch menus. All will offer combinations of seafood and prime steaks along with his signature octopus dishes. Ceron Kitchen is located on the Westside of Alameda on Webster Street, nearby the old Alameda Navy Base. Vicente Ceron is currently building the campus for space rocket company Astra, just down the street.

I absolutely loved taking my husband to Ceron for his birthday. The only thing I wasn’t to happy about was I mentioned that it was his birthday on the reservations but there was no mention off it when we got there. Most restaurants will bring out a small dessert for birthdays. The food was all delicious and I would recommend. The tuna tartare was delicious except for the salmon roe which may be an acquired taste

It was easy to find, parking available in back. Nice people, very good atmosphere. Cocktails were nice. Food was good but not great. For the cost it wasn’t worth it. I hope they improve they just started.

We went here for Mother’s Day brunch. Loved the décor. The menu offered a nice variety. We ordered the smashed Avacado Benny, lox Benny, regular Benny and the French toast. We started with a pear and Gorgonzola salad. Everything looked and tasted great. My only ding was that the hollandaise sauce didn’t have much flavor. It was nice and light but needed a little stronger flavor. The French toast was fantastic. Our waitress and serving staff were awesome. We will definitely go back.

Wonderful service , while we had a late reservation and were the last table , we were not rushed and offered refill. Foods and cocktails were terrific! Definitely nice to have a nice restaurant in east bay!

Need more experienced servers. My server disappeared after drinks arrived, forgot side plates, new forks/spoons once old ones removed. I ordered the salmon and duck arrived? They are out of salmon… so I ordered the scallops. My scallops arrived after everyone is half way done. Lots of things missed service wise for high end prices.

We live walking distance to this restaurant and have been excited to check it out, but waited for a special occasion considering the prices are steep. We went last night for our 7 year wedding anniversary. The ambiance is lovely and the service was excellent (Laurence is a suburb waiter). We enjoyed the food, particularly our entrees (the scallops and the risotto). I just wish the prices were a bit more reasonable so this could be a regular destination.

Ceron offers the best service and ambiance in Alameda. My dish, the steak, was delicious — surprisingly tender and very flavorful. My spouse’s short rib was good but the purée under it was overworked. The Paris Brest dessert was really good, as were the cocktails. Looking forward to trying their brunch.

As usual, the food was wonderful and the staff attentive. So nice to be able to get a really good glass of wine in beautiful stemware! This restaurant has not disappointed since our first visit a few months ago. Such a great addition to the island!

Loved this new restaurant. A wonderful addition to Alameda island dining options. Very upscale and classy atmosphere. Went for weekend brunch. Food was delicious - strawberry souffle(?) amazing, scrambled eggs - the way they should be done, creamy and moist and fluffy, avocado benedict - delicious. Staff was so welcoming. Will be back again to do the dinner menu! Oh, there is a parking lot in the rear that one might not notice so there you have it!

We felt that the food wasn’t on par with the prices. We tried the salmon and squid risotto and both were just okay. The service was great and everyone was incredibly friendly. We probably won’t return, though. There are so many places in Alameda that’s much less expensive and much better food.
