Chamas do Brazil
A meal typically begins with a trip to our amazing salad bar, which consist of over 60 different items of fresh vegetables, homemade dressings, imported cheeses, cured meat, and etc., along with several hot dishes. We also serve a selection of side dishes at your table. The main course will start when you flip your coaster-sized chip from the red side to the green side, signaling the Gaucho Chefs that you’re ready to be served. To stop the service of meat, flip the chip to the red side.
My 7 year old daughters favorite place. The staff is excellent, tend to your every need, knowledgeable, friendly. Can’t say enough good things about them. The food is great, many different options for the family. They don’t jam pack a million tables together to get the most people in like other places do, they concentrate on the customer experience. Which is awesome. Love them!!
Much better service than the big chain known for the same style. Very friendly staff, food was delicious
We were incredibly pleased and surprised at our experience at chamas de Brazil. the food was excellent, the atmosphere was perfect, the service was superb, and we actually preferred it to other chains that serve similar food. We went on a Saturday at noon to enjoy the brunch. Only 11 of the cuts of meat were served out of 17 but we didn't miss out on anything! The salad bar was fantastic as was each cut of meat that we tried. The Cajun steak was excellent! The fried bananas were also the best I've had. We enjoyed dessert as well and try the key lime pie, the chocolate cake, and the flaming cheesecake. Each were the best that I've had. We can look forward to our next occasion to go to chamas de Brazil!
Enjoyed a birthday dinner for my wife there. Very similar to Texas de Brazil but on a smaller more intimate level. Good location. Great salad bar. Good place to take visiting friends or guest.
Nine of my high school class mates from 1968 get together for lunch every three months & we I chose this restaurant because I think it’s so great. Everyone in my party loved everything from the greetings, wait staff and the great food. I was told what a great choice I had made.
Had a wonderful time. Great food and very helpful and friendly staff. They made great recommendations and took the time to explain.
We were celebrating a 63rd anniversary for our elderly parents. Our waiter, who I don't recall his name, was pleasant but seemed very confused when it came time for the check.
He came to the table on 3 occasions asking who was on what check, etc.. It actually became quite comical because he kept asking but never wrote anything down.
Then, we saw him speaking with another waiter who actually entered the information in the computer.
It took WAY too much time. My mother, who decided to not wear her oxygen tank in the restaurant, was beginning to have a hard time breathing due to sitting for so long
Regardless, we will return because the food is delicious. Just with the waiter would have done a better job.
The meats were tasty, especially the lamb chop. However, the price per plate was equivalent to higher end Brazilian steak houses and the drinks were very overpriced. Seems to be kid friendly and is a quite environment.
Little pricey / slightly more expensive than expected even after discount coupons, but average for this type of meal. Flavors on the meat were slightly better than the biggest competitor in FW (less salty and increased number of unique spices/ flavors. Worth the trip, but would like to see them offer a charity discount program to bring more comparable to competitor mentioned above. Would gladly shorten the drive if the incentive discounts offered were increased.
The salad bar items seemed as if they came directly from packaging and not chef prepared. The lobster bisque soup was a broth with no meat. The only option for a side dish was mashed potatoes that came from the kitchen cold. The meats were primarily top sirloin prepared in different seasoning options that were all tough and tasteless. Our waiter only came to the table a few times and did not seem as attentive as the wait staff at other tables.
My family was very disappointed.
A great first time for us and the staff made us feel special! We will definitely come back when we are in town!
Great service, great food.
We usually love this place. Not this time.
Yet another fantastic evening at Chamas do Brazil! They never fail to delight us and our friends. This is our "go to" place for celebrations and evenings out. Both the management and the servers go out of their way to provide a fantastic dining experience...and they exceed hopes our every time. We just left there on New Years Eve and are already talking about our next trip to dine at Chamas. The lambchops, the beef ribs and the salad bar are my absolute favorites. My husband likes the steaks and the chicken. No matter what you choose you will be sure to love it!
We wanted something special for New Year's eve, Chamas do Brazil did not let us down!!! The food and service was top shelf!!! The manager David makes you feel like family!!! Always a great experience!!! When family and freinds come to town, I always make this a top priority to eat at!!!! Keep up the great work!!!
Love the food and service, best steakhouse in Arlington, TX
Who wouldnt looooove Chamas. I mean they have the best eating experience hands down!!!!!!! I have been going here for 3 years for most anniversaries and occasions.
Great food and service! The manager stopped by frequently to make sure everything was satisfactory and told the servers how we liked our beef cuts cooked.
This was our second time to eat at Chamas do Brazil. The first was over 3 years ago, shortly after they opened. Our first visit was a poor experience, but we figured they just hadn't worked the kinks out. This visit was a considerable improvement, but still not on par with Texas de Brazil or Fogo de Chao. For the price level of a Brazilian steakhouse, you expect near perfection, and both the food and the service were good (a solid 4-star now), but inconsistent. Most of the meats were good, but some were bland, some had an off flavor, and some were too gristly to eat. The bacon on the bacon wrapped filet appeared to be raw. Some of the sides were inconsistent. Some of the meats (cajun ribeye) didn't make it around until we asked, almost 90 minutes after we arrived. Service was mostly attentive. Gauchos were around a lot at first, but far less often later in the meal.
This is an excellent restaurant with delicious food, attentive wait staff, great management and wonderful ambience. I would highly recommend Chamas do Brazil to everyone. We have been there many times and it is consistently a truly great experience!
Food was excellent, specialty drinks were sooo good, service was very attentive and responsive. The entire experience with excellent!
We met someone from Michigan and spent two hours catching up. Such a nice dinner!!
The guys with the meet took so long to come to our table other than that everything it was great
I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised by everything at this restaurant. The interior was very nice for a place situated along an interstate in Arlington. The server was very attentive, and passionate about the restaurant. And the food was great! Will definitely be back.
Annual Christmas Eve Dinner
Excellent as always!
Meat seemed to not be cooked, and I eat medium rare, had allot of bloody really chewy meat. Manager kept taking meat servers away from our table to serve another table and we'd had to ask them to come back. Had to ask for specific meat that is normally out since it wasn't coming out. For the medium people in our group of 11 we had to ask for it specifically as it seemed their meat had not been cooked long enough and ontime for the supper crowd. Had to get allot of stuff ourself as the waiter was missing. When getting ticket i paid with card and whomever ran card did not put the copies with the book and waiter chased me down like i hadn't paid and wanted to run it again, when in fact i had a text showing it had and he found my receipt laying around somewhere. Very disappointed in food, service for our annual family Christmas dinner.
Overall food was great. The salad bar had fresh selections and the meat was perfectly cooked as usual. The only complaint would be, the meat choices did not seem to circulate as they typically do on a "busy" night. We had a party of 7 for an early Sunday dinner and with as few customers in attendance at that time I would have expected a quicker and more variable selection. All that being said our waitress was superb and did ask if we would like any specific cut of meat as she would request it to be brought to the table. All in all this was a pleasant visit. Would definitely recommend.
Accommodated large group with no problem
Some of the meat was served raw to our table. Overall quality of meat very poor for this price range.
All of the meats lacked flavor and the service was spotty. For the price, go to Texas de Brazil.
Over priced for quality of food. Party of 4 was $200 + tip. Food was over seasoned. Felt sick all next day after eating here. Will never go back. On a positive note...Service was outstanding.
We enjoy seeing our frinds at Chamas. This time we celebrated a member of the family passing his professional exams. David and Paulo are wonderful. The food is great.
Chamas is my family's FAVORITE favorite place to dine. We love the atmophere, the food and the excellent service provided. The salad bar provides an extensive selection and their meats are of the highest quality.
the food was so so for the price. the server took forever to get out our drinks and it wasn't busy! I will not return to this restaurant.
Our favorite Arlington restaurant! We love to go for date night, with friends or for no reason at all! We've been going to Chamas do Brazil since the week they opened and look forward to many many fine meals in the future. The service is wonderful, the food divine and the atmosphere delightful. I highly recommend this authentic Brazillion steakhouse to anyone for any occasion.
This is a great place to sample a variety of beef cuts. The bacon wrapped filet mignon was particularly tender with great flavor. If you are looking for a big old pile of meat, this is the place !
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our visit, this was our first time dining with you as we are from near Houston, a quick survey of family revealed we liked your restaurant better than Fogo da Chao, that is saying something ! One big detractor for me personally though, I found your Red wine list to be severely lacking for choices of Argentinian and Chilean wines. Our service was outstanding, our waitress actually listened to my requests and offered several relevant suggestions, she represented you well.
We usually go to Texas de Brazil (I’ll call it TDB) but we decided to try this place since it was closer to us at the time. The staff is friendly and helpful and quick to respond to your needs. The salad bar is well presented. It’s not quite up to TDB’s level, but it does have more side items to add to your plate. The meats aren’t bad if you’re not acquainted with good parrillada. If you’re like me, having been to TDB too many times, then the meat here is a huge let down... the flavors aren’t quite as exciting in your mouth, the meats look steamed not grilled, and the way it feels in your mouth is chewy. I’m assuming the grade of meat must be much higher at TDB and the cooks better trained. I’m pretty sure the prices are pretty much the same, so our family will stick with TDB.
I absolutely loved this place!! It was worth every penny.
