    Wasn't impressed - only 1 menu for Thanksgiving at $90 each , poor choice. While the steak I had was good quality it was raw inside - I asked for it med/well! The waiter acknowledged same as it wasn't eaten but there was no apology or discount. No atmosphere & young children making a lot of noise - up to approx 8/8.30pm. Wouldn't recommend especially as all that cost us $260 with 2 small glasses of wine & tip included.

    Had the Thanksgiving dinner. The food was terrible, especially for the price. Mind you, I’ve never posted a poor review in my life. The food was that bad. Our party enjoyed each other’s company and was grateful for the plentiful food, even while our taste buds were offended; it was Thanksgiving, after all.

Unforgettable night from a professional staff serving one of the best steaks I’ve had with a perfectly paired wine from an extensive yet approachable collection. After dinner trip to the rooftop provided some of the best views possible in DC. Perfect for special occasions.

    I thoroughly enjoy the steaks at Charlie Palmer’s and the wine selections, desserts, side dishes and salads are always fresh and delicious. It definitely has a bit of the classic steakhouse vibe — quiet, thoughtful, non intrusive service and nice surroundings. You cannot go wrong with the filet mignon.

    Overall, this was an absolutely perfect dining experience. My evening was a little unorthodox, as I was dining alone and needed to respond to multiple work emails. knowing that ahead of time, I had made a request to please be seated in a private area as possible, so as not to annoy anyone around me, by being on my phone (texting) throughout dinner. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the service was exceptional, and the food was just incredible! Charlie Palmer is my new “go to” when I’m back in town. I could write a tome alone about the fillet mignon. Thank you CP! I can’t wait to return.

    We had a great evening. Service was great. The steaks were not hot when they arrived. They were cooked perfectly and were very flavorful. The sides were great but was disappointed with the Mac & cheese.

    To start off Charlie Palmers is fairly expensive, some would say very expensive. Our waiter was very good and the food came fairly quickly. What annoyed me to no end was before the dinner was over, two staff came to clean up the table while people still had forks in their mouths. We still had bread, mushrooms and brussels sprouts uneaten and people still eating when they cleaned the table. We had not been eating slowly so it was not as if we were slow. I think it was just rude.

    Charlie Palmer is a DC classic. Food is always superb with a great selection. It is pricey but not too high based on what you get. We had three with app to share, steaks all around, dessert and drinks at about $160 per head with 18% tip. Enjoy!

    Charlie Palmers is a great restaurant in a great neighborhood. The space is amazing and the food is fantastic. The wait staff is attentive and the service is very good. The only challenge our party experienced was that some of the requests of the diners didn’t come out as f the kitchen exactly as specified. The wait staff however was very helpful in addressing the concerns.

    Gustavo and Kaila were outstanding and gave us one of the best dining experiences ever. The evening started with being greeted by Mike Irving who is most hospitable and fun people to speak to. The service overall was truly memorable and a birthday celebration for my fiancé she will never forget.
