Contemporary Indian
Cinnamon Bazaar is the latest restaurant & cocktail bar from Vivek Singh's range of Cinnamon restaurants, situated in London’s Covent Garden.

We are a dining concept that mixes real Indian heritage with urban London, and our menus have been inspired by the marketplaces that lie on the trading routes that connect the empires of the Old World.

The cross-cultural dining experience embraces the democratic spirit of a bazaar, making us a real cultural melting pot – the perfect place to eat, drink, relax and celebrate.

Our private dining room, the Khari Baoli, is situated on the first floor above the hustle & bustle of the restaurant, and can accommodate 12 – 30 guests in this picturesque dining room, featuring its very own private bar. It is a real democratic place for people to meet, eat, drink, exchange ideas, work and celebrate.

Outstanding. An inventing and creative menu, a relaxed and tastefully decorated dining space, a personable and impeccable service with a smile, and a bill that was surprisingly reasonably. This was the perfect dining experience! A special thanks to Giedrius for all his help during the evening, and for recommending us the tasting menu!

It was so hot in there! Very uncomfortable. The food is expensive for what it is. Nice decor but not worth it.

I have very high expectations when it comes to Indian food as this is my food, the food I’ve eaten all my life. I can not fault this place. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We ordered a selection of starters and main courses. The food was exceptional! It all had authentic Indian flavours and tastes. The meat was cooked to perfection. I will definitely be returning and i highly recommend this place. So happy I found this hidden gem! Please remember to take cash as service charge is not included in the bill and can not add this onto the bill.

Second time here. Food was absolutely delicious again. A very good range of flavours and choices and all beautifully cooked. Only downside is that it can be difficult to choose!

We went on a saturday evening and found the restaurant was extremely busy and buzzing which is not a bad thing but a tad too noisy for my liking (difficult to converse and had to raise my voice considerably). Lighting was a bit too dim where we were seated. Tables had a tealight placeholder but the tealights were put out. Needed a small candle/ tealight for the table and some nice music perhaps to enhance the ambience. Cocktail was good! tried the Gin Julep - very refreshing. Food was very good and no complaints.. husband tried Methi Chicken and I had the Kaali Dal. Starters were quite good (samosa chaat & gunpowder bullet chillies). I would surely visit again!

We were taken to tiny bar table close to the gate, although it wasn’t mentioned during the booking.

The food was outstanding, I went for three starters, the lamb kebab, the aubergine and the cauliflower and all were cooked to perfection. The naan peshwari was great too. The service....less so.

Could not recommend. We were seated atleast 15 minutes late even after a reservation. There seemed to be a lot of confusion with reservations, people with reservations before me were still waiting. Food was generally not of great quality. Currently London has such great Indian restaurants this was quite shockingly poor. Fish curry was good, rest was not at all authentic. I am pretty sure the person who made the ‘gulawati kebabs’ has no idea what those actually are. Too expensive as well. Don’t see this place lasting too long.

We've been to Cinnamon Kitchen which was an amazing restaurant, so imagined Cinnamon Bazaar would also be a great restaurant. Overall it was an average experience with the food for the price paid. The starters and chaats were great but the mains were a little disapointing. I found the Grilled Aubergine a little bland and lacked excitement. The restaurant is really lovely and the atmosphere was great but the waiter was a littl un-attentive and drinks took a while to come out, however it was a friday night and it was extremely busy, especially the bar area.

Food was nice with good variety. However, no one explained the menu (was busy as it was Friday night). Food did not come out very quickly, but even then we were basically kicked out as soon as we finished our desserts. A staff member came over to ask us to take our bill because they had a number of people waiting for tables and they needed ours back. Then as soon as we paid with our cards he asked us to get up and stood by and waited for us to get our jackets on. This would have been fine if we (a) had been told at booking that our table was only for two hours, and (b) if the food had come out quickly and servers came by more regularly to take subsequent orders. Really disappointed and don’t need the rude service again.

Really great food! Nice wine selection. Slightly overpriced overall. Would recommend booking for a table early as it gets very busy. We were asked to leave our table before we had finished our wine and there was nowhere else to sit so we had to stand by the bar. But the staff did eventually find us seats. Lovely décor!

Both service and food was very good.
We booked for 5 people and 2 ended up not making it but the restaurant didn't mind even though it was quite busy and people without booking were waiting.
Even the place was full and busy, the waiter paid attention and we did not have to wait too long to ask for anything. Every food was tasty and generous portion. Bill was reasonable too.
I can't wait to go back!

5 of us had dinner at the Cinnamon Bazaar on a Friday night. Despite booking we had a short wait and the front of house brought us snacks to have with our drinks, which on reflection, we wouldn't have had if we'd gone straight to our table, beware the sneaky additional cost! The food however was great. The lamb with mint, the prawns and the soft shell crab chaat in particular were all yummy. Really nice service on a busy night. A bit pricy overall but a really nice evening.

We arrived early around 6 pm on a Wednesday by 7 pm the place was absolutely full ... and not surprisingly as this is different and delightful. We were pre theatre dining and had very good service with food delivered promptly. This place is more akin to street food than fine dining but what it does it does we’ll Recommended

I was looking forward to trying Cinnamon Bazaar. The service was initially very good when we arrived, but as more customers arrived, the service went downhill. It took more than 10 mins to attract a waiting staff. At the end, I had to go up to the counter to order something. One of the plates was filthy and I asked to change it. The food was ordinary and not value for money. Really disappointed - I won't be going again.

We were 10 mins early and we were rushed to make our order even though we've never been before and it was a special occasion for my husband's 40th. We were in and out in 40 minutes!! We could tell they wanted us out because they had a big table to deal with next to us.
No recommendations or help ordering. Rude service! Hot hair con right at my husband and they never turned it down after we asked. Food was ok. Extremely disappointed and the most unjustified £90 we've spent!

Rogan Josh Shepherd’s Pie was a highlight. Maitre D’ was intense and preoccupied. Other staff very polite and friendly but for some reason you can only tip in cash. This place is decent if not spectacular, prices okay - perhaps a little much for what you get but in keeping with the location. I’d definitely eat there again if someone suggested it.

This was my second visit to Cinnamon Bazaar and I'm glad I returned! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff are all very friendly. The food is great- we particularly enjoyed the lamb kebab starter and pork belly main. We ordered from the pre-theatre menu which has a good balance of dishes for a reasonable price. We did feel the set menu should include rice (or roti) , but this was minor!
