   Brilliant. We’ve eaten there many times and the service from Callum and his team is always first class. Nothing is too much effort. Complicated dietary requirements are not a problem. Cannot recommend enough

   This restaurant was so warm and inviting and beautiful. Every dish that was brought out was exceptional! The staff was so kind and welcoming, they spoke to us about each dish as it came out. It was my birthday, so they had the bar make us craft mock tails since we do not drink. It was so nice and thoughtful, and they were delicious! We loved it and are definitely going to recommend it to anyone who goes to Edinburgh!

   We went on a Wednesday night so probably not best day to go as we were one of only two tables so absolutely no atmosphere. Nice decor but dead with no people in as in a basement. Food was ok - very small portions - I had monkfish starter. Ok but felt the hazelnut overwhelmed the flavour of the fish. Wouldn’t have it again. My wife has a cod main and I had the halibut. Again quite small but flavours were nice. Desserts were nice but again small. Overall it was a disappointing experience and felt £172 was way too expensive for what it was - wine we chose was £50. To be fair going on a busy night would have helped but still felt it was not great value regardless of how full it was.

   Food was cooked to perfection, really excellent tasting menu and selection of wine. However it is a bit too expensive. The same quality could be found at six by nico at almost half the price. Would go again if they brought down the price of wine and/or food.

   Two sides to the Common club. Snoop Dog or Martha Stewart. Snoop Dog side dark moody very cool. The other is like being in a beautiful bright kitchen in the countryside. We sat on the Martha side. Great staff. Great food. Great cocktails
