Côte Brasserie - Newcastle
Pre theatre dinner from the set menu with complimentarh kir royal. The usual high quality food. Not many veg options though. Disarmingly charming service
Very good food. Reasonably priced. Good service
Pre-theatre meal. The service was efficient and friendly and the food was nicely cooked. However the waiter asked if we would like bread and olives but when he brought the olives informed us that the kitchen needed to bake some more bread and it would only be a few minutes. When it arrived after our starters we were served the bread toasted! Other baskets of bread were being served to other tables. We didn’t complain because the waiter informed us that we would not be charged but when the bill arrived we were charged for it. This is not good customer service
The food and drinks are consistently good and the early dinner option great value for money. The restaurant could not find my booking but to their credit did not send me away on a busy evening. But they put me in a dark hidden away corner of the restaurant which was less than ideal.
The staff worked hard, were friendly and polite with a smile on their faces
Relaxed and enjoyable
Excellent especially in regards to allergens!!
Reliable and attractive. The set menu is good value, but the a la carte doesn’t break the bank either. Friendly service.
