Server was very inexperienced. I thought prices were a little high for what you receive. Steak was under done from what I ordered. Sides were delicious. Went for wife’s birthday and booked it as such since they ask you if it’s for a special occasion. No mention to birthday or anything else offered. Some places throw you a free desert for birthday but not here. If you want steak in Boston you can do a lot better for your money at a number of other steakhouses than here.
Awesome time, all the staff were very nice, and our waiter was excellent!
Fantastic food! One of the best steaks I have ever had. Just watch out ordering drinks. Each glass of wine was $20. Our party had 4. $80 for four 6oz (at best) glasses of house wine.
We were greeted with a "happy anniversary" and seated right by the ocean view as requested. The wait Ignacio took the time to explain to me just how my dry aged ribeye was prepared and it tasted excellent. We were even given a complimentary dessert plate for the celebration. We will definitely be coming back to celebrate more in the future.
Vegas glitz with back alley food and service quality. If you are fine to pay a 300% markup on an Outback Steakhouse experience.
Way over priced for what you get! We had the 8 oz filet and 16 oz prime rib eye. Rib eye was below par from a quality perspective. I would not even give it a star for value. Svedka Vodka in a martini for $15? Really?
Excellent food and the cheesecake for my birthday was a nice touch!
I have been there many times and it has always been a good experience. This time was not as good. Not down on them all together, maybe just an off day . May try again in the future.
I had to send back my steak that I ordered medium well and it came out medium, at best. They did take it back and cook it more, but it was a total damper on the dining experience. When you're paying premium prices you expect a premium experience.
We came in for my husband’s birthday and he had a fabulous time. The staff was wonderful the food was fantastic my only complaint was it was very chilly in there.
The start of our annual business holiday dinner. Fantastic all around
Wonderful!! The service was awesome. The LouisXIII was a great treat and the ambiance was lovely!! Great job!!
Such an amazing meal! The staff was incredibly friendly and treated us so well - they even brought us champagne and dessert to make our special occasion ever more memorable.
The food was well prepared and good quality. I would, however, expect a restaurant in this price range to have more attention to detail. Staff not uniformly skilled. Bathrooms needed attention.
Awesome food. Upscale but energetic busy environment. 12 of us went. Great table. Plenty of room for all. Drinks took a bit long to get. Ordered 2 seafood app platters that were over $350 and were great but very hard for everyone to reach and serve themselves. Meals are a very good size. Will return back.
Del Friscos never disappoints. The service was perfect, our waitress super friendly, and very attentive. Food was so good, phenomenal ! The view of the harbor is top notch. Wonder date with someone very special.
A great to place to entertain family on a special occasion, celebrate a birth or a new life moment. A perfect spot for an amazing meal.
Extremely great service with good recommendations!
Awesome New Years celebration with my family.
Music was a little loud, but other than that, it was the right place for the occasion.
New Year’s Eve
This was our fourth visit at Del Friscos on New Years Eve and I must admit, this year was very disappointing.
My sister in law had lamb-chop and it was not enjoyed as it was all fat. She lodged a complaint with staff and they did take a portion of the $195 per person fixed price menu cost.
Overall, none of the four of us were happy with the meal and felt the cost was exorbitant for our experience.
Never again on NYE!
New Year’s Eve dinner for 2.
It was an excellent dinner with a great view
There are better quality high end steakhouses than Del Frisco's. The location in the Seaport is lovely with great views out the large windows. The 8 ounce filet was OK - not great. It was a little tough and dry compared to other filets that I have had at Ruth's Chris and Flemings. Here is the worst part - they were very deceptive about these things that they call "toppings". It does not list them anywhere on the menu - and the server presented them as if it was standard and not an option. When the bill came they added about 20.00 to each of our entrees. So, we paid high end prices for just OK meat and THEN got up-charged for the "topping". Very deceptive on their part - and for that alone - we will not go back. My advice - go to another high end steakhouse and skip this one.
Huge fist fight broke out in middle of restaurant. Table was horribly over served alcohol. Never in my life did I think I would see this at Del Frisco’s. Absolutely disgusting. Management needs to be held accountable. My wife was nearly hit in head with glass and tableware. Never step foot back in here in my life.
Went there for my daughter’s birthday. They wished her a ‘happy birthday’ when we checked in and gave her a special dessert. Made her feel special. View of the airport is lovely. The food was outstanding. Steaks cooked perfectly (as ecpected). Loved the del potato side. Highly recommend the thick cut bacon appetizer and schezuan calamari. Already made reservations to go back.
Great view right on the water with a friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately the food and waitress did not live up to the expectations. Our waitress wasn’t very helpful and my steak seemed like something I could get anywhere at a much lower price. Not worth the prices for mediocre food and service.
Jasmine our server was great- energetic, knowledgeable and very friendly. We had a great meal and we found the restaurant to be quiet and with good ambience. The onion rings to shame were fantastic and a huge portion. This picture is what’s left after my husband and I each took one. Beer batter was so good!!!
I don’t understand why my reservation did not earn me any points.
We celebrated our 1st anniversary here on the day of our anniversary. The restaurant decorated the table with rose petals which made our time even more special and had a glass of prosecco for us to toast the occasion.
Del Frisco's makes everything memorable. The service is exquisite. Derek was our waiter. He saw to every detail with such finesse. Kudos to him. The food is carefully prepared and every bite is perfect.
Way overpriced for what you get. Steak didn't cut well and had fat running throughout. Wine list is impressive but marked up about 200-300%.
Great location overlooking Logan Airport, overall a good meal, although you pay for it. There were 3 of us,
and we each ordered steak of one kind or another, all were cooked as we ordered, although they use a lot of salt, pepper, and other seasonings on the steak...not allowing the real flavor to come out. Sides were good, but the onion rings were disappointing, much too big and not tasty. The odd thing here is the bread offering, most steakhouses in this price range provide a basket of assorted quality options in their 'bread basket'...but Del Frisco's was not up to par here...very disappointing sesame bread of some sort, very dry and not fresh at all, that was our biggest surprise and certainly not of the quality that we expected.....for that reason we gave this restaurant an overall '3' for messing up something so simple.
Fantastic evening with amazing food. Everything was perfect!
I had the Japanese A.5 steak OMG! It’s melt in your mouth good! However we had 3 servers that night and it became a little confusing towards the end we also felt obligated to leave a heavier tip then usual given if you’re going to tip one you have to tip them all and splitting one tip isn’t fair to them.
Terrible service for our Christmas dinner. We have been coming to this Del Friscos for five years and this was by far the worst experience. We were seated at 8pm, the last seating of the night, near the entrance to the kitchen. Our server came over promptly to take our cocktail order and asked if we would care for bread. It was downhill from there. We sat with empty water glasses, one empty cocktail and no bread for 15 minutes. My boyfriend had to flag down someone for water, another cocktail and bread. Bread arrived after our appetizers. Overall our server was inattentive and noticably tired. Throughout the meal there were three separate instances where servers collided with one another right next to our table. Silverware was dropped, sugar containers dropped and a near miss of linens. I realize this the last seating of the evening but when your clientele is spending $400 on dinner you expect a higher caliber of service. I would also suggest that you remove that two top to avoid someone else having the same poor, high traffic experience. Very disappointed.
Lobster bisque was so bad they took it off of our bill
Steaks (Filet and rib) were not nearly as tender as they should have been
Au gratin potatoes were under cooked and under seasoned.
we have been to this restaurant before. They can and should do much better!!!
Enjoyed a great Christmas dinner with the family. Who would of thought?! Think this may turn into an annual tradition. Superb!
We were a party of 4, and the kitchen forgot one of our entree’s. Another entree was undercooked and room temp, while still another was ordered medium rare yet came to the table with a raw center that was”cool” to the touch ! The staff walked away before we had a chance to tell them. The side order of bacon was almost completely all fat ! Whoever was running the kitchen should definitely be dismissed! I’ve been a regular customer at this location since it opened and never came across this before. They changed the menu to accommodate a busy day, yet when we arrived for our 5:15 reservation, the restaurant wasn’t much more than 2/3 full. With all the new competition opening up in the area, upper management better straighten this out before it’s too late. DelFrisco’s used to be about service and quality, this was more like going to the outback. Ruined our Christmas dinner.
Went for Christmas dinner. Staff was very friendly and warm. I think 5 people wished us a Merry Christmas before we even sat down! Service was very good. Food was outstanding. It exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to go back! Dinner was expensive (which we expected) but definitely worth the splurge.
