Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse - Boston
My wife and I sat at the bar and ordered from the full menu. My Caesar salad was so cold it lost any flavor it might have had. After our salads were done we had to wait 45 minutes for our entrees to arrive. They said it had something to do with the mashed potatoes.
Overall it was not an enjoyable dining experience.
Another tremendous night
Everything was spectacular. Dean was an awesome server and the hostesses were very accommodating.
We went for my wife's birthday and it was perfect.
Celebrating a family birthday, great time, our server Lenny was great!
my husband and I were charged $617 for somone elses dinner along with the cost of our dinner that was $276. we are still waiting for a refund 3 days later. I called today to speak with a manager by the name of Emily, I was told she was in a meeting and I would receive a call in 15 minutes. I didnt receive a call , if I have no refund by tomorrow I will be calling corporate.
The restaurant and ambiance was beautiful, the food was excellent but the waiter was terrible, inattentive and forgot about my wife's birthday, he thought he would make up for it by taking money off of the dessert. It's not about the money of course it's about the occasion. I would go back but I would request another waiter.
Never disappointed coming here. They made my husband feel so special for his birthday! Every one wished him a birthday and the desert they brought out was incredible.
Love this restaurant service is great and food is fabulous
Very unpleasant experience! Lobster Mac and cheese barley had any lobster! It was my wife’s birthday she didn’t get a choice of pick for desert, when the waiter brought a chocolate cheesecake she stated hope you like chocolate
Great service. My bf and I ordered the waygu tomahawk steak 32oz , it was cooked perfectly as we asked for medium . It wasn’t the best steak we tried , it was plain in my opinion and not worth the price for $115. I honestly prefer Ruth Chris .
Fantastic way to spend Valentine’s Day!
I love a good steak, and I believe Del Frisco's is one of the top steakhouse restaurants in New England ... Aside from the quality of the beef, the apps, sides and desserts are outstanding ... The bar staff takes extra care to make sure your mixed drinks are perfect ... And you can't beat the ambiance of the Seaport overlooking Boston Harbor .... First class in every way ....
We showed up after the kitchen closed, and the manager honored our valentines date by keeping the kitchen open for us. Super grateful. Great service.
Our server, Miguel, was amazing! I would definitely recommend the butter cake dessert.
Valentine’s Day dinner was very special. Service was EXCELLENT and food was even better! Couldn’t have asked for a better evening.
Thank you!
Never disappoints!!! Only complaint is the noise level is very high and if in large group, bed hard to listen and talk.
Great filet and lemon cake is the best!
A really good steak, terrific wine list, and professional staff.
I would recommend Del Frisco's to a friend or business client, however for the level I would expect from Del Frisco's the Boston location missed the mark. Primary server was very inattentive, unaware of wine menu and could not navigate it or recommend appropriate options. A appetizer was forgotten and not noticed till after meal was delivered and partially consumed. This cold have been noted had the server circled back around immediately after food was delivered. Server asked about our meal after the majority was already consumed. We did get a complimentary desert but the need to follow up and ensure satisfaction with food order would have prevented this. Unfortunately this may have been a symptom of a poorly staffed restaurant and the server being task saturated or worse a poorly trained server left to operate with no close supervision. I have come to expect more from Del Frisco's and unfortunately they missed the mark, thankfully this was a causal dinner and not a business setting.
Great night out to celebrate my wife’s Birthday. We loved the steaks and the server. Thank you Ryan K!
Typically very pleased with our experience at Del Frisco’s. Our last visit was a bit disappointing to start we waited about 45 minutes for a reservation. We ordered a drink by the bar. M
Busy night at the restaurant. Had reservations for 8:45 PM. Didn’t get seated until 9:30 PM. Have been there before but the filet wasn’t as good. Ordered medium well and was over cooked. Wasn’t relaxing as the other times I’ve been here.....felt rushed! I’m chalking it up as an off night for the restaurant. I will give it ONE more try then no more.
Got seated 30+ minutes after reservation. When we were finally seated we got a table in the bar that they slapped a tablecloth on next to first come first served tables. Crazy loud environment given the bar scene. Overall very disappointed.
This restaurant has gone far downhill. From squeezing people in to the point of being a fire hazard, to really terrible service (Ranging from no bread, water refills, forgotten sides, miscalculated checks...) to poorly cooked steaks, i wouldn’t recommend this restaurant again. We ventured out of the burbs for my husbands birthday celebration and it truly was not worth the effort! Packed in like sardines, too loud to hear, steaks cooked improperly, and terrible service. Two thumbs down.
My very first time at Del Frisco's it was amazing! Excellent service and the food was delicious! Our waiter Adam C. was great! Very friendly and very nice...
I had requested a specific table number. We didn’t get it, which is fine, except that when we walked in, either that table or one just like it was set up, awaiting guests. Kind of irritated me.
Celebrating our great-niece 15th Birthday with a fabulous outing at Del Frisco’s in Boston. Food was terrific as was the service.
My steak was so bad that I could barely eat more than 3 bites.
It was ok service was normal nothing special, drinks were good I would recommend the double eagl margarita. The stake I got was over cooked, mashed potatoes were good (“fancy mashed”) ceaser salad was watery.... looked like they ripped the leaves off the head threw it on a plate and served it to me. Wouldn’t go back for food drinks yes would recommend Ruth Chris instead
As USUAL a delicious and well prepared and served dinner.
Birthday dinner. Waitress was robotic and seemed very rushed which she seemed to project in us.
Bartenders messed up a cocktail. Said they removed it from the bill, they didn’t.
Food was just ok. Certainly not what I expect for the price.
Strangest thing was that while 2 of my guests stepped away to the restroom, she decided to deliver the cake. Who does that? It’s a birthday dinner and you’re going to deliver the cake and candle while some of the guests are away from the table? I expect much better for $750 for 4 persons.
Will stay away for a while. Hope they get their act together.
My go to steakhouse in Boston. Always a quality meal with outstanding service. Highly highly recommend.
Enjoyed a birthday dinner at my favorite steak house and they did not disappoint. Exceptional food, great wine and terrific server.
I wish I had known how loud the dining room area was going to be. I would've picked another restaurant. Great food but I was looking for an intimate setting for my anniversary date. Being seated right next to the waiter station definitely did not make the night any better.
Are server was excellent. She was knowledgeable and had a pleasant personality. The food was very good will definitely good back. The only disappointment of the night was there famous Lemon Cake wasn’t ready at 6PM on Saturday night..
The Food, service, ambience and view of Boston Harbor was over the top; - truly an incredible experience to be revered by all the senses. Many, many thanks.
Everything about it was great! We had a reservation, and we were seated right away. The service was excellent. Our waiter’s name was George, and he only added to our good experience. He was outstanding. Then there was the food...........delicious! The noise level was high, but I think that just goes along with most steak houses. It didn’t take anything away from the evening, and actually added some fun to it! Needless to say we would definitely recommend Del Frisco’s to everyone.
Absolutely great food and view of the harbor. Excellent service. Pricey but so are some other places that just don’t hold up overall like this place does. Can be very loud at times but that’s because everyone in the place is enjoying themselves!
Delfrisco is my jam! My preferred restaurant for celebrating special events! Hands down, Best Rib Eye I've ever tasted and it never gets old! Call me a fan!
Not a fan of steakhouses, but Del Frisco's was the perfect place to take a chance. Enjoyed their trio of steaks, with three different toppings/sauces. Quality of the ingredients was on point. Side dishes to share are huge, so I got more Brussel sprouts for later! --Scalloped potatoes au gratin were a bit of a letdown, too much cheese. I prefer them saucier.
Service was phenomenal. Brandon was cordial, efficient, knowledgeable, and non-intrusive. Early dinner on a Sunday might be the best time to enjoy the place, by the time that we left it was a bit more crowded with the typical dinner crowd.
