Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse - Uptown
Our first time here and it was by far, the best restaurant in Dallas all the way around. From the ambiance to the service to the food. It was all stellar. We have not experienced such an experience anywhere else, and we've been to all the top restaurants in Dallas. This was an unplanned dinner, booked our reservation just 20 minutes before we arrived and did not have any expectations. If we had, they would have knocked them out of the park. Needless to say, I highly recommend. It's a great place to show off some out of town guests, too!
Great food and really great service
Great example of fine dining. Our waiter even bought us dessert since it was our first time eating at the restaurant. I would love to eat there again

We came for our Anniversary. The staff made us feel so very special. We received a hand signed note, fabulous service, delicious food, and a yummy dessert. This was a magical evening.
We always depend on Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse for special occasions. Excellent food, excellent service. Every time. Our waiter Moses was great, never intrusive but always on the spot.
I had the Molé enchiladas. Best I've have since deep in Oaxaca.

Service was oddly slow, especially for lunch. The restaurant was about 70% full for lunch, but our service was inexplicably just bad. It was a business lunch and perhaps the waiter was letting us move at our own pace as we discussed business, but after a slow process of ordering and very dawdling starters, we waited over 30 minutes, and i saw people that had arrived after us being served their entrees. I had to flag down our waiter to ask (how does he not already know we've been waiting 30-40 minutes for our entrees, am i now in charge of food delivery?) and then he checks with the kitchen, which informs him "their seared tuna was cooked too long so we are now cooking it again". Since seared tuna takes approximately 90 seconds to cook, i took that as code for "the kitchen lost your ticket, or your waiter forgot to turn it in, and it never really occurred to him in 40 minutes to go check and see where your food was, even though we know that most weekday lunch patrons are on a schedule". Our waiter recovered and promptly processed our check, which helped. End result, we gulped down really good food in five minutes to get back to the office for our next meeting. For a $100 business lunch i would dare dream higher of at least feigned interest in giving service...

Had an amazing time with my wife on our anniversary. We had steak lobster macaroni and cheese with asparagus, it was quite delicious. The service was amazing and the ambiance was spot-on. The only hiccup I had was the lobster macaroni and cheese was not present in my bag after I'd taken the remainder to go. Overall we enjoyed the hospitality.
Mediocre filet and tuna. Not up to standards.
Went for my birthday—might normally go to Capital Grille (CG), but wanted to try something new (to us). This was GREAT! The service was amazing (waiter less overtaxed than CG), the apps (calamari and bacon) were AMAZING (better than CG), the (specialty) drinks and desserts were FABULOUS (much better than CG) The steaks and sides were tasty (not necessarily better than CG, but very good) and the over-all cost was a bit higher than CG. I feel like we have another good place to celebrate! Will request our waiter again—he was a big part of why we had a great time.
We received a nice table on the 2nd floor with a view. Our server was pleasant and gave us good drink recommendations. The crab cake appetizer was perfect! Try the butter cake dessert - it’s worth the extra time in the gym :)
I have been hearing about this place for a long time and finally went with my wife. Too noisy, lighting too bright over table, steak was not good. On a good note their wine list was excellent.
Not rushed, just right service. Business meeting so we preferred slower than usual courses and server was spot on. Never forgot us and kept the pace we set for enjoying a nice meal while conducting business! Great food prepared as ordered distinctly delicious!! You’ll see us on our next trip to Dallas.

Excellent food. Attentive servers. Crowded and loud. But that’s good for a celebratory Saturday night.
Perfect place to celebrate an anniversary. The staff was attentive, provided recommendations, and complimentary champagne for our evening. Everything we ordered was excellent and exceeded expectation. We selected the Foie Gras, 8 oz Filet Mignon, 45 Day Dry-Aged Prime Strip, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Brussel Sprouts, and ended with the Lemon Cake. Each of these items is something we would order again. For cocktails, I recommend the VIP.
Best steakhouse in the best steakhouse city!
This was not our first visit to Del Frisco Double Eagle Uptown and the food was amazing as always. John our server did an amazing job catering to my little old frail mom. She loved him for it. I had the lobster cocktail and the crab louis to start. My wife shared her tuna tartare. Then my wife had the Dels salad while I had the wedge. So tasty. For our entree we shared a massive seafood tower. Wow. We love the wine list and with Adams help my wife picked out 2 great bottles.
We have already planned our next dinner at Del Frisco Uptown. See you soon

I took my mom to celebrate her birthday. She had never been but I always told her Del Frisco was amazing. A BIG THANK YOU to Jeff for making my mom first time amazing! He went over and beyond for her and she loved ever moment of it. Definitely will be celebrating many more birthday here. This place is amazing and well worth it.
We loved our experience at Del Frisco's. Our waiter Brian was extremely nice and on top of things. The food was outstanding, this is my husband's and my new favorite place!
Waitress was exceptional in her knowledge of the menu. She was able to create off menu meal for my vegetarian daughter and billed us accordingly.
Her timing was impeccable and recommendations were spot on.

Not too sure what took place this past Sunday (2/17) however, the food was below sub-par this visit. Our food was not hot (temp wise) it was completly warm as if it had been sitting for quite sometime not to mention our server didn't bother to recommend another dish for my dinner entree since the Crab Cakes were terrible. We sent back the Lobster Mac and Cheese once and requested that it was made fresh to order and was hot not warm, guess what.. the young lady came back less than 4 mins later with a dish that was "warm". At that point, we gave up and was ready to leave. It was already well past 8:45p which made it a little more difficult to find a great spot to enjoy dinner on a Sunday evening.
The Steak my husband ordered was actually pretty good and his lobster could have been a little more seasoned to taste however, the experience for us was not great. Please make sure you're providing quality service all day long as this makes up the difference for the overall "guest experience" when dinning at one of your establishments. It was not about the money that evening, it was about being able to enjoy fantastic well prepared food.
