Dim Sum Library - Admiralty HK
These tasty new creations include "Black Truffle Har Gau", "Dan Dan Xiaolong Bao", "Black Pepper Wagyu Beef in Millefeuille pastry", "Cheung Fan with Squid Mousse and Crispy Tofu"and" Hokkaido King Crab and Sea Urchin Spring Roll" are among the delectable dim sum dishes on offer.
Unlike traditional dim sum restaurant, Dim Sum Library is fronted by a stunning Chinoiserie cocktail bar, guests can enjoy a full selection of classic cocktails, wines and spirits as well as bespoke Chinese tea cocktails. For those who enjoy a game of Mahjong in the afternoon, the tables at Dim Sum Library’s Mahjong Parlour, discretely concealed at the rear of the restaurant, are a perfect place to play.
Booking was simple, great location and really yummy food
It was great. My friends and I really enjoyed the food.
Food are very tasty. Staff are nice. Hope the price can be cheaper.
A bit noisy for a business meal but food was great
Lovely food but rate a bit high. Special decoration to enjoy the fusion food. Highly recommended you to try the spicy soup dumpling if you are a fan of strong flavor food.
Reservation at 12:00pm. Telephone confirmation to return table at 1:15pm when Open table advertises for 1:30 hour.
Arrived at restaurant at 11:48, was told to return table by 1:00pm. Got short changed for 12 mins.Rush lunch, not a relaxing meal. No incentive to eat earlier than reservation.
An unpleasant experience.
Fabulous meal, exceptional service. Look forward to going back soon.
Great food every time we've gone. Good ambience and efficient service as well
The food at Dim Sum Library is simply fantastic. Cocktails are also delicious and inventive.
Excellent food and service
Absolutely delicious food. It took a while to get drinks and water at the beginning, but the food then came quickly.
Unusual dim sum choices but very good and tasty. Service good be better for an upscale joint.
Everything is good and service is also good, I want to visit again
I love this place — The decor is beautiful — takes your mind off things and of course the food is delicious — Please never shut down
Food is over priced and not that great. More vegetarian options.
Delicious food - highly recommend the wagyu beef puffs and the black truffle chicken. Also chose the oolong creme brûlée which was the perfect way to end the meal. Staff were very attentive and helpful. They offered hand santiser and wipes when we sat down so we felt safe and comfortable dining here.
Fix your tables so that they don't rock. My table was rocking front and back and it was very uncomftable. Your waiters have no ideas what to do with the table at all... not very resourceful... and we had to show him how to slip some paper beneath to prevent it feok rocking (I though this is common sense?)... but indeed, I think he should have shifted away the rocking table and changed to another table for us... overall, just not resourceful....
We had an amazing dinner with delicious and innovative dimsum and other dishes. Despite the amount of fabulous restaurants in Hong Kong we tend to come here twice during our stays. Like this time too, we’ll dine there twice.
we’ll be back!
Good food with interesting options. However, not too many choices if you are vegetarian or allergic to shrimp. A bit overpriced. The service and ambiance were great.
One of our favourites dim sum options. It is so convenient and one place we can also take family and friends and be confident they will enjoy the experience
Excellent venue fabulous food you have to have the chicken really really reasonably priced even the red wine fantastic ambience I love this place
Really good authentic dim sum and an easy walk from our hotel.
This was recommended by friends and did not disappoint.
We actually visited the new one in Elements which I previously notified open table. Great food as it is new the didn’t have a liquor license . Food spicier than we are used to but delicious
Excellent place for any celebration or special occasion, even for an after work dinner. Nice place to visit during vacations and a must for Dim sums or special- HK dishes
The food was delicious and service was good. However, the price is a bit on the high side and the choice of dim sum was limited. I would like to see a bigger menu next time!
A favourite place to visit although turning up without a reservation especially at lunchtime can be hazardous. Always buzzy, food is good, but the waiting staff are sometimes rather pressed and do not look around to see who needs service.
The food quality is good and service is excellent. However the food portion is too small. Also if we can have lunch set or discount offered, it would be perfect !
Consistent quality of food and prompt service. Innovative dishes. Could do with more vegetable options.
Made a reservation at 9pm, we were still eating main dishes and was asked to pay the bill, hadn’t even finished eating, had to rush through dessert and they cut off the music and turned the lights on brighter. We were the last table in the restaurant and felt like we were being pushed out, DONT take reservations at 9pm if you are asking them to leave at 9:45. It’s not fair and ruined our evening.
The service was really fast and rude. They make us paid in the middle of our dinner. The food is good, the service not at all.
Dim sum Library was excellent. We went in our first night as close to our hotel.
Superb food all very tasty.
Service was also attentive.
One small criticism was as we were the last people in the restaurant we felt a little rushed as the staff were seemingly keen to finish their shift. I did not detract from our evening. Super food and worth a visit.
Delicious food as always. We especially loved the hargau with truffle. Service was attentive without being in your face. Definitely one of my favourite places for lunch
Fantastic food and service great ambiance just be aware that you will moved from your table after your allotted lunch time otherwise all good
Your nouvelle cuisine dim sum did not impress me. I rather stick to the traditional dim sum and the more authentic ambiance. Sorry, I'm an old-fashioned old man.
Service was poor, we had to set up our table ourselves and remove the extra chairs we had made a booking for six and the table was set up for eight
After finding an article citing the reataurant as having an exceptionally interesting twist on Hong Kong cuisine and judging from the photos and description of the place I traveled across town from Kowloon to have dinner. The article failed to mentionthat it was located in a shopping mall anf the photos made it seem as if it had windows overlooking a vista. I ordered the puff beef pastry appetizer, whish was good and the fois grois on eggs which was sadly disappointing. Still hungry I followed up with the crispy chicken, average.
No need to put dress code if it is not strictly enforced.
we booked at a table for 11:45am, but our guest arrived late. we were told repeatedly by your waiter and manager that we can only keep the table until 1:15pm. Closing to 1pm, your manager obviously made a point by clearing all our dishes and cutlery from our table and push us to settle the bill immediately. We were embarrassed by the situation. Obviously your people only try to make the most of money from the table but missed value of service and customer relationship. I was told by other people they had bad experience with your restaurant, now I know what they meant.
